Error pop-up when I access "Carrier" under "Setting" + Strange symbol shown

I can't dial a call with my OTB1.1.2 today!
A symbol (a call headphone with 7 dots under) appears on my iPhone (right next to battery power level) and "No Service" is displaying. When I access "Carrier" under "Settings", an "Error" is pop-up. Could you advise how to resolve it? Thanks.

Yes this is indeed the TTY option.
As for the lack of signal, try turning Airplane mode on and then off again, to force the iPhone to re-establish a connection to a tower. This may help. If not, then try the usual troubleshooting procedures: reset, reboot, restore, in that order. Also, you might also want to reset the network settings in settings>general>reset.

It sounds like you're seeing an alert message when opening Mail on your iOS devices. Do you have multiple email accounts setup on the devices? then after I hit ok. anther error will pop saying The installer encountered errors before iTunes could be configured. Your system has not been modified. To retry these operations at a later time, please run the installer again.
Everytime I try to install iTunes, those two things pop up. What should I do?

A couple of questions.
(1) Do you currently have a copy of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package installed on that PC? If so, try downloading the following security update:

Does iTunes install for you after applying that update?
(2) If no joy there, head into your Windows Update and click on the Update History. Have a lot of Updates also been failing for you recently? If so, doubleclick on the entries for the failed updates to bring up more information on each. What error codes appear for you for the failed updates? (Precise spelling, please.)

Error 401 Unauthorized when I access to a document in km through internet

Hello,
we need to access to documents on km though mail subscriptions.
When we access to this documents through the url given in the subscriptions email and we are on our intranet environment everything worked fine (the document is showed if SSO is activated or a logon windows appears if SSO is deactivated).
But when we are on internet and we tried to access to the same document throgh the same url in the same subscription email, the following message appears:
401 Unauthorized
and we haven't the chance to enter our credentials since no logon windows appears.
Any idea of what might happen? The only thing we need is that the logon windows appears.

Have you done your SSO with Windows Active Directory?

"Check that you have permission to write to the library directory." I had this error pop up when trying to access a iPhoto Library from Finder.

The error, "Check that you have permission to write to the library directory." Displayed after trying to access a iPhoto Library from finder. The file is located on the local hard drive and was accessed not 5 minutes before the error displayed. Upon searching the forums I found a similar problem and the instructions said to check a permission box in the "Get Info" tab. There was no box visible and after clicking the arrow to open the "Open With" tab, the rainbow wheel started to spin and I could no longer access Finder or the desktop. I was deleting files trying to make space on my hard drive and noticed as I was deleting files more data was being added to the iPhoto Library. My question is how can I fix this and how can I prevent this in the future, thank you very much for any help, I would really like to keep these pictures.

I found a similar problem and the instructions said to check a permission box in the "Get Info" tab.
This applies only when the Library is on an external drive. You cannot ignore permissions on the system drive.

Hard to see how deleting files can add data to the iPhoto Library. Can you explain why you thought this?

Make a back up now.
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store

Flash error pop-up when animation playing (ie)

It seems to be working fine with firefox and chrome, but if you open it with internet explorer you'll get a pop-up (after about 10 sec when the animation goes back to the start) with a error message.
There's also a little problem with opera: the pointer doesn't change when you mouse over.
Here's the only script I'm using:

An error pop up when executing T-code MMZ1 (Create Material)

When I run the Transaction Code MMZ1, an error message will pop up as following:
"Batch definition level not known. System inconsistency!"
The Message no is CZ314.

Alternatively, Go to -
SPRO --> IMG --> LO - General --> Batch Management --> Specify Batch Level and Activate Status Management.
Check your Batch Configuration in the Batch Management.

T. Code: OMCT - If, its an issue of copying of the client from another base client. Regenerate the number range.

TS4291 Apple Support article TS4291 "Error messages appear when you access MobileMe"

I occationally, seemingly randomly, get the error message, "There was a problem connecting to the server "idisk.mac.com". Contact your system administrator for more information." Plus it allways takes somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 clicks to close the error message dialog box.
The solution given is, "Your iDisk is unavailable. Make sure you are logged in to your MobileMe account, and then try again to access your iDisk.
But idisk and mobleme no longer exist having been replaced by iCloud. I am logged into ioCloud.

Something on your Mac is still trying to access a Mobile Me service, find it and then you can fix it.
Examples include: Apple Backup 3, iPhoto, iCal, Address Book, but there may be others.

Error popping up when embedded

Hi,
I've got a minor but frustrating problem: When embedding the results in HTML on my website, visitors always get the pop-up which says (in Dutch): "De opdrachten voor dit document zijn niet beschikbaar in het Engels (VS)" which means translated that the assignments for this document are not available in English.
What does this mean and how can I avoided this? "Sluiten", equal to close, should be pressed to close the pop-up and show the results.

ITunes 8 shuts down (error pop-up) when iPod plugged in.

I recently updated to itunes 8 on a Windows XP. I can run iTunes and play music, except when I plug in my iPod. When I plug it in iTunes freezes and comes up with "iTunes has encountered an error and needs to shut down". Conversely, my iPod is recognised by Windows - it does the little sound when its plugged in; and its charging while its connected to the USB. Therefore the problem seems to be in syncing?
I have tried so many things. I have restarted my computer, tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes (x2), I have restarted my iPod several times, and I have tried installing QuickTime separately (I read it might have been a glitch with QuickTime). I'm so frustrated, hopefully you guys will be able to guide me in the right direction

iTunes works alright until I plug in my iPod, then it shuts down saying something about iTunes has unexpectedly encountered an error and must shut down.
what version of itunes do you have? to check, go "help > about itunes", and wait for the version number to scroll up from the bottom. for example, i have a 6.0.4.2.

However, User can join meetings and view other peoples screens when they share , but when user hosting and try to share Desktop it says there is a problem and kicks out of the session,

I read that the cloud offering of WebEx (WBS28, WBS29) offers a TFS (Temporary File Solution) which is designed for participants in a locked down Windows environment - to join a WebEx meeting (without administrator rights).
Does the "CWMS" version 2.0 or version 2.5 support TFS?
