Hi Experts,
We are getting this error when try to create Activity from Account application( from activity tab page in account) in PCUI. But the same thing is working fine in at GUI level & Activity application in PCUI also & actions profile assigned to Activity transaction is also working fine at GUI level & activity application in PCUI.. But in Account application it is throwing this below error.
Error: The predecessor transaction has the status 'incorrect' .
Detials of teh error:
Diagnosis
You have attempted to create a follow-up transaction for an incorrect transction 2000764. This is not possible. You can only create follow-up transactions for error-free transactions.
System Response
The follow-up transaction is not created.
Procedure
Correct the errors in the source transaction 2000764. The error messages resulting from processing the error can be read in the application log in the source transaction.
Pls suggest solution for this.Helpful answers would be rewarded max points.

Batches with are reached expiry date are giving Restricted status by using deadline monitoring transaction. (QA07 & QA05)
With restricted status Batches are allowing for the Consumption to the order/ cost center and also for the 311Movement.
In order to control this consumption we made the information message in to Error message. (M7 -665 -Batch & has the status <restricted-use>).
This setting done in MM-SPRO- Inventory management ---Define attributes of system messages.
This setting is applicable for all the Movement types.
Now the requirement is For the Movement type 344, 551 exemption need to be given so that posting to be happen from restricted status to Blocked stock / Scrap.
How to Exempt the 344, 551 From the Message u2013M7 -665 Category?

You cannot make exceptions. If you want the error message selectively, use the user exit at the time of goods issue. Here you can issue the error message by movement type.

While trying to perform the operation 'Annul All Below' in DRM 11.1.2.1, I received the following error: There was an error trying to get the status of the job. 1: The server returned an error processing CloseJob: Stack empty.

Just giving my view on this.
When you try to restore a Version backup file, you get this error.
This is a known defect. The problem is caused by missing values in properties like AddedOn, AddedBy, which may occur when a version is copied with 'Clear Changed Properties' selected.
this is a known bug
but to workaround - Blend the affected version into a new, empty version, which will populate the 'ChangedOn' properties. You can then back up this version and it will restore.

Sales order line cant be closed....the WF line has the status DEFERRED

I have sales order line which can not be closed because it has the status ORDER_CREATED_MANUFACTURING....when i check the Workflow and rewind the last activity which is DEFERRED it doesnt change, it keeps like that....somebody knows what is happening?

Check if you have created a work order to fulfill the sales order line. Cancel the work order if you are not planning to ship the sales order line.
Check if there are any reservations to that line. Cancel the reservations if you are not planning to ship the sales order line.
Then check the line status - it should become awaiting shipping.
Try to cancel now.

ERROR: Wi-Fi has the self-assigned IP address

I'm having an issue with both my MacBook Pros at my home. If I try to connect to the Time Capsule after coming home from work, I receive the exclamation point in my wifi status icon and this error message in my network preferences pane:
"Wi-Fi has the self-assigned IP address 169.254.121.202 and will not be able to connect to the Internet."
The IP address is always different, but it always gives me a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0 and no Router IP.
This problem only seems to occur when both Macs are connecting and not connecting to the Time Capsule wifi. That is, when my girlfriend is out of town with her MBP gone, I never seem to have the issue.
It also seems like the first of our two to connect is the "winner" and will connect just fine, but the second one will not. If both computers are open and waiting to connect while we power cycle the Time Capsule, it will connect without any problem. If I then leave for work, come back home, try to connect, we have to start the same song and dance all over again.
I've tried just renewing the IP. I've tried restoring the factory settings on the Time Capsule.
I have a sneaking suspicion this may have something to do with the problem: My MBP is a 3rd generation copy of the data from hers. Hers was once my MBP, but we copied everything from it to a new MBP, which later was copied to a third MBP (the one I'm using now).

That is interesting idea.. although the MAC address will be different I wonder if something in the GUID of the install being identical could cause issues..
Do both laptops have the same wireless cards?? Different models came with different cards. .these can not cooperate very well.. although I have seldom heard of them fighting in quite that way.
If you want to take the trouble.. a replacement hard drive and a new install of the OS.. see if it still happens.. how hard do you want to pursue it.
Check the log in the TC for when you try to connect.. and see if there is a reason given for not accepting you. Did you change the laptop network name.. ie they don't both have the same name do they.. it would not work if that was the case.

Please let me know is there any way to delete the failure IDOC which is status 51.
And also let me know how to findout the user or usergroup who receives the mail through WORKFLOW when an IDOC was failed.

Error message - what has the boy done now?

My son deleted his playlist on iTunes on Saturday for some unknown reason. Today he plugged in his iPod and all the songs on it deleted/erased.
So I thought, just create a new playlist right? Yet after multiple tries, I get a message saying that the iPod cannot be synced because all playlists selected for updating no longer exist.
I am so confused. What step am I missing or foregtting?

For versions of iTunes from 7 onwards, the option to "update selected playlists" is now under the "music" tab in the summary screen.

Predecessor has status 'Incorrect'

Hi,
When a follow up transaction was being created for an order with errors in CRM, an error is coming "Predecessor has the status 'Incorrect' " in the order.
We have removed all the errors from the predecessor transaction (Order), but the above error is still not getting removed.
How can we remove the error from the order?

PO containing two PR's - Do not update properly the status in eBuy

Hi everyone,
here is the scenario with the issue:
Shopping Cart 1 has Purchase Requisition 1
Shopping Cart 2 has Purchase Requisition 2
PO is created in R/3 using both Purchase Requisitions: 1 and 2
Goods receipt done in eBuy for both Shopping carts
Shopping Cart 1 has the status changed to Completely received
Here is the issue:
Shopping Cart 2 still shows the status: Purchase Order
Please advise what can be done in this case.

Unable to set the status of CSR to "Finished",

Hi Experts,
I have a CSR. It has 8 activities. Each activities are completed. Now when i am trying to change the status of the CSR from Followup to Finished. its giving error. The Error is "The CSR can not be finished due to open activites".
in the coding: the GUIDS of all the activities are stored in an internal table. Then these GuIDS are checked against the OBJNR, INACT( ' ' ), STATUS(I1005) of the CRM_JEST table. If sy-subrc is zero for each activity then the status will be set to finished.
 Coding:
 loop at nkeys.
 select single * from CRM_JEST where objnr = nkeys-objkey
 and inact = ' ' and status = 'I1005'.
 if sy-subrc = 0.
 "Finished
 else.
 Exit.
 endif.
 endloop.
But i found out that, for one activity, the INACT is 'X' (Inactive). Thats why its gving the error.
I checked the status of the activity in UI (IC WEB) , its completed.( the description of the activity is CSR Dispatch). But still not able to set the status of the CSR to Finished.
I need help regarding the above. Please tell me how can i set the status of the CSR to Finished.

You can release the Order by the following method:
Go to KO02
Enter the Internal Order name
Go to Control Data Tab
There we have one screen area as Status: there we have one push button(like); click it and from there you can set the staus of the internal order to Released(or you can also change the current status of the internal order)

Task list type usage Key specifies the areas in which the task list can be used (for Example, in production or plant Maintenance).
Status: You use the status key to indicate the processing status of a task list. For example, you can indicate whether the task list is still in the creation phase or has already been released.
Dependencies: Note that certain transactions are dependent upon the status of the task list. For example, you can only include a reference operation set in a routing if the routing has the status "Released (general)".
Case 1: If you use
Usage 1 - Production     If you use the usage key as 1 that means that the task list can only be used in Production if the status is released only.
Status 4 - Released (General)
Case 2 :
If you use
Usage - 3   Universal   which means that the routing can be used in the Production , Engg/ Design, Plant maintenance areas etc if the status is released only.
Status - 4 Released(General)

For example, how can I view a particular status that a BP has, and can a BP have more than one status against a status profile. Also what date/time details are set when a status is changed?.

Many thanks for the info. As with all these posts, you do your best to try and find out yourself, fail, then raise a question on a site like this. As soon as you do the answer(s) become clear.
I've found transactions BS02 which shows Status Profiles, and associated status.
The Order/transaction holds the status set and can be extracted using the FM/Program CRM_ORDER_READ and using the ET_STATUS table.
That's what I was mainly after.
