Hi,
I am getting the above stated error message while creating the Rule type organizational type.I am stuck here and couldn`t get teh assistance.I would be, thankful in getting the solution for this.

Hi, we're trying to study Workflow based on the manuals we downloaded online. Upon saving, we encountered the error: Error: Prefix number: entry missing for system REP client 113 Msg no 5W023.

Diagnosis
Tasks, rules, and workflow definitions require an ID that is unique throughout all systems and clients. In this way, you can ensure that you can transport these objects from one system into another at any time (without restrictions). From a technical point of view, the uniqueness of the ID is ensured by what is known as a "prefix number". You can define a separate prefix number for every system and every client in table T78NR.
System Response
If a prefix number is not defined in the client in which you are currently working, it is not possible to maintain (maintenance terminates).
Procedure
Maintain table T78NR in Customizing, and create an entry for the system in question and the current client.

Hi Angela,
Please check if the Prefix number is maintained in SWU3 t-code.
Go to Maintain Definition Environment -> Maintain Prefix Numbers and check if the prefix number is maintained.

I am workflow learner, I am having theoretical knowledge on it.
Now, I started to practice practically in my IDES server.
I am getting an error message while I am trying to save my standard task with my object type and method and event (which were already created in SWO1).
My error message details.....
Prefix number: entry missing for system EC5 client 800
Message no. 5W023
Diagnosis

System response

Even I tried to create on entry in the table T78NR, but as that is standard table, I am unable to make an entry.
Hope we have to configure the workflow, I am not having any Basis consultant with me. Can anyone help to cross this problem.

in Prefix number OOW4, system is asking me to enter, the Prefix number, Interval start, Interval End, and Check Sum.
I entere the same 980 in prefix number, and i dont know what to enter the Interval start and interval end and check sum.
Also there is some msg coming when i tried to manage some values, " NO Intervals can be reserved for this prefix number" - MSg No: 5W179.
Please gurus help me.

We have created a archiving object in transaction AOBJ. However when i enter this object in SARA, we get this error message.
"Entry missing in Customizing table for object Z******* "
I have matched my object with few other archiving objects and things looks similar.

I checked and i can see entry for ZSCS_TRAFO object in AOBJ.
But when i enter ZSCS_TRAFO, i get this error :
Entry missing in Customizing table for object ZSCS_TRAFO
Message no. BA057
Diagnosis
A function cannot be executed due to a missing table entry.
Procedure
Please create an entry for the archive object ZSCS_TRAFO with the AOBJ transaction.
However, a few other Z objects works well.

Entry missing in table TMC6 for unit KOEIN

Hi,
The STD Info structure S071 us marked for VA (Sales Order), it does not allows to change as it is SAP STD. I have a scenarios where these tables to be updated for VB (Contract). So i thought of creating a new table copying the existing S071, while i try to Update Rules for the new Info structure, i am getting the below copied error.
I went through some of the links, but those are not giving the right answer. All comments are welcome...thanks

We are not able to start Indesign CS2 without getting the error message: <<InDesign is missing required system fonts or CMap files. Please reinstall InDesign.>> This is on WinXP. Recently I installed Creative Suite CS4. It took almost a day to install. The installation kept on stopping. Each time we were able to install one more program. After checking all of the programs we discovered that Firefox would not start due to a possible font error. After reading many posts I decided to uninstall a lot of fonts since I did not know which one was the culprit. However now I am missing a font (at least I hope that this is caused by a missing font and not anything else) that should be there and I don't know which one it should be. I did uninstall a <lot> of fonts and don't remember which ones. WE did uninstall all CS2 programs and then reinstalled only the necessary three. However that did not make any difference. You can download LR4 from Adobe but you will need a serial number for V4 as the serial number for V5 will not work.
If you are still on Vista you really should look at upgrading to Windows 8 64bit as you will experience similar problems with other software. Vista was released in Jan 2007 which is 7 years ago, a long time in computer terms and was never very popular. Its current share of the windows OS is around 3% and going down so not much incentive for developing specific software support.

I am getting following error when try to post IDoc frm SAP to SAP XI:
No service for system ..PI, client. in Integration Directory -IDOC
I have verified the following transactions:
port,RFC destinations are correct in SAP and XI systems(verfied in SM59,IDX1,BD64 and in SLD)
Please help me here

This error was resoved now.
What is the cause?
In ID, Adapter spefic Identifiers for SAP Business System does not have R/3 System ID and Client and It has only Logical System name. Its bcoz of cache prob between XI and SLD.
Resolution:
There is an option to refresh, so that Adapter specific identifiers was refreshed from SLD and values got populated for R/3 System ID and Client name.
Generally when Business System is imported from SLD to XI, these 3 parameters(Logical System name,R/3 System ID and Client) will populate automatically.

But from system log file SM21 i have got only the time not date on which it has been shutdown and restart.
And another thing is that 15 dats before Log file data is atomatically deleted, so cant get it back.

I am trying to load the data from database system oracle ,the data was successfully loaded into psa , but cant able to load the data into ods from psa .
Data in psa is all green without any errors , as info idocs are missing its not letting to load data manually from psa to ods ,
I try to reload but coming up with same error
Next day problem was fixed automatically, I want to know what is the exact reason for this problem and how can next day it fixed automatically

The table T589A is a configuration table pertaining to the pf status of the infotype. I changed the pf status of the infotype i.e. added my own buttons on application tool bar. May be cos of that it is giving error. Not sure.......

Missing base system device for Pavillion dv6700

I have an HP Pavillion dv6700. P/N Kc317uA#ABA
I am missing base system devices:
PCI bus 2, devise 5, function 2 (code 28)
PCI bus 2, device 5, function 4 (code 1)
This happened after I had to restore a restore a set point.

Entry missing in T169V table for Co. code

Hi Friends,
We made one new company code & did all the settings. When we are doing MIRO we got one error saying that Co. code is not exist in T169V table.
Table T169V is for Default Values, Invoice Verification.
We might have missed some customization, can any body tell where to do.
I can do it directly from tables also, but not advisable.

goto SM30 give table no and click on customizing then click on continue without project
here system wilkl give u all the customizations for this table
now if we take ur e.g. of T169v then u have to check for the entry of MM as the problem is occuring in MIRO
u have to go to SPRO>mm>LIV>Incoming Invoice>Maintain Default Values for Tax Codes

ARD Reporting failing and causing thousands of entries in my system.log for my OSX Server clients

I have a small four system network - all running latest version of Mavericks with latest (3.7.1 ARD)
1) OSX Server running File Sharing, DNS, OpenDirectory, Web
2) OSX Server running DNS (secondary), OpenDirectory (secondary)
3) OSX Server - installed but not running any services
4) OSX Client
When using ARD from any of the systems, any attempt to generage an ARD report targeting system #1 or #2 - the ARD report task stops at "Collecting Report Data" and I start seeing: sysinfocachegen[10506]: FSPathMakeRef error = -43 in the system.log that I'm targeting. Currently over 11000 entries in my last log file (rolled over) and am over 8000 already in the log file after my last test.
If I target systems 3 or 4, reporting works fine.
Any ideas what is going on here?
