Error "Problem occured locking WS object" while activating Proxy

Hi All,
I have move an Inbout proxy to a different Client(QA system) and in QA system that proxy shows incative.
When i tried to activate that proxy/service in Sproxy, getting error "Problem occured locking WS object".
Proxy was active in development system and was working fine without any error.
Please provide some help, what need to be done to fix this issue

Hi Harshit,
Try with the following steps in sequence:
1. Re-genarate the proxy in Development - Create a New Transport Reuest.
2. Transport the Proxy from PI Dev to PI OA
3. Confirm the Proxy in PI QA and then, transport the re-generated Request from ECC Dev to ECC QA.

How to resove the "smart hard disk error" problem occured message displayed while starting up?

My HP laptop showing me a "Smart Hard disk Error" while starting up the computer when I press power button on.
The message displayed on black screen is as below:
Smart hard disk error

I already did the Hard disk self test and it showed all the test were passed.

There are 2 ways of running a test on your hard drive . One way is through BIOS (F10) and other is through HP System diagnostics(F2). How exactly was test initiated from your end ?
The SMART imminent failure for Hard drive is an indication that your Hard drive is on verge of failure or might fail anytime depending on usage. I would recommend you to backup your files immediately because your hard drive might die at any moment and I'm pretty sure its needs to be replaced.
Kindly check the instructions over here in order to run the test for your hard drive

Locks During Object Collection & Activation in Business content in NRIV

During the Collection & activation of InfoObjects (Business Content) the systems get locked. looks like a dead lock in DB01 with table NRIV
We are on MSSQL 2005 SP3
Does anyone encountered this..???

Error while activating proxy

i am trying to create a Enterprise Service.the steps that i am following are:
In se80 i am right clicking and then creating a enterprise service.
I am selecting the option as service consumer and then proceeding with the steps.
the wsdl that i am using is https://webservice.test.exacttarget.com/ETFramework-ps-test.wsdl-secure.wsdl
after the steps i am trying to activate the proxy but i am getting the following error:
object not(yet) activated
error when activation a proxy.
P.S i have been able to create a succesful connection in sm59 and i have been able to test the connection succesfullythe repsone i am getting is

Hello, did you ever get this working. I am also looking for documentation on setting up and configuring SAP CRM 7 to connect with Exacttarget. Anything you can provide would be very helpful as I am not able to find any documentation on this. Example, exacttarget has sent us a wsdl file but we really don't know what to do with it and they have not provided the documentation related to setup and configuration within SAP.

Error "The Query Returned no Objects" while exporting Universe in UDT?

I have created a Universe on top of BEx Query using UDT in SAP BO 4.1 and tried to Export the Universe to Repository the following error is appearing.
"The Query Returned no Objects" so "The Universe couldn't be exported".
Could you please suggest me what could be the issue and how to resolve this.

What version of Oracle 9i are you using? Do you have a standard 'NLS_LANG' environment variable set on client's machines? Or do you set it to different values on different machines?
Here is one of way you could get around it.
Could you specify the export parameter 'STATISTICS=NONE' while exporting the table data?
Try this and see.
If this is successful, you could use the import utility as usual. You could always compute or estimate statistics on the table after import.

OBIEE+ Problems trying to import objects from Active Directory

I'm trying to import my users from my Active Directory using the Administration Tool.
If I give the Base DN to point to the Users entry and I get that It doesn't have any objects to import.
If I give the Base DN to point to the parent folder of Users and Groups entry I get
LDAP server referral not supported.
Any configurations that I have to take in consideration?

I've found other problems where OWB adds a space between all characters returned from SQL*Server which is what is happening in your case, although it is being displayed as a square box.
In one of these cases the problem was fixed by using the 11.2.0.2 OWB so would it be possible for you to try with that version ?
Also, as the problem is not with the gateway itself as you can select successfully using a database link then it would be better to follow up in the OWB forum -

I get an Error while trying to activate the Proxy for an Inbound Interface. Error mentioned is that the Import Structure created for the ABAP Interface (ZMI_RESELLER_MASTER_IN___BI0) is Unknown.

If anybody know whether should I use pipeline services for sending back standard acknowledgement?

Register Object while creating Proxy in SPROXY

In SPROXY wile trying to create a PROXY for my outbound Message Interface, I am prompted to register my object. Is it necessary to register even for custom objects thought I donu2019t have it staring it as a Z. I was under the impression that we need to register only for SAP objects. Please advise.

While click on Create proxy it will ask for package name and prefix.
Your prefix name should start with Z.

While activation and creating the SIDs the system will perform the sanity check which will ensure to throgh th error if u trying to load some lower cse letter to IO which doent have the u lowercase check box as checked. You can edit the IO then and also proceed with saveen suggested by processing all capital.

Hello,
this is due to incomplete partner profiles;
When createing your source system you have to ensure that your source system is open for modifications (transaction SCC4) and that you have administrative rights in this system. Indeed the creation of a source system will create all partners profiles in both systems thus the source system needs to be open for modification.
ensure this and "restore" your source system from RSA1

Account 300000 requires an assignment to a CO object while I am trying to do posting from billing doc to acc doc .
When I am trying in KA01 to create cost element then sym will ask in default acc asst cost centre .After when I do trying create cost centre in KS01 sym giving error message u2018 Controlling area XXX does not have a standard hierarchy (please assign one)u2019
Again if I trying to create std hierarchy in (OKEON u2013 Change) getting message u2018
u2018You have not yet created a cost center standard hierarchy for COAr xxxx
So wt should I do for this error to clear.?

Hi Ishikesh,
First of all are you using a make-to-order scenario or scenario where there is linkage to controlling?
This is an error because the G/L account which you have assigned in the customisation is requiring an assignment to any of the parameter which can relate it to the Controlling for e.g. Cost center or WBS element.
For this you have to have some guidance of Controlling customisation as this is not the directly an issue of SD module.
If the G/L is for Revenue then it will be a secondary cost element and not primary. If the G/L is a revenue element , then account needs a profit center. If a cost element , then account needs a cost center.
Please check first the field status of the account in Transaction: FS00.
If this account requires CO object as mandatory then check whether a cost element is created or not , this error normally occurs when CO object is mandatory but relevant cost element is not created.
You have a cost account defined in accounts determination (Transaction: OBYC), and every cost account must have a cost object associated (say, internal order, cost center, etc..).
You must decide what is the cost object to 'receive' the cost value on the account
Now, Look at Transaction: OKB9 - Display View "Account assignment" : Overview
In OKB9 specify weather this cost element give impact to cost center or profitability segment. If it is give impact to cost center then assign cost center against to cost element or assign it to PA.
OR, Alternatively -
Go to, Transaction: KA04 and delete the cost elements for your g/l accounts.

If 41201100 is a revenue element , then account needs a profit center. Ifa cost element , then account needs a cost center.
Please check first the field status of the account in Transaction: FS00.
