Error QT-2095 while starting I-tunes
Hi,
recently we checked our photo's and ever since I cannot use either I-tunes or QT.
I get a 2095 message error while starting I-tunes.And when I open a web site such this one, I get a message saying that my plugin is not correctly installed.
Tried already to reinstall I-tunes but no change, QT cannot be uninstalled because there is no uninstall log document or something.Yeah I'm a newbie in these things.
It would be so kind of any of you to help me out with this.
Greetz
I simply reinstalled QT over the QT I had on my
notebook.
Had to errase some files though and did it with the help of B noir, THX B.

Error in IE while starting PC-UI
Hi all,
I get the error "<b>Bad Gateway
The following error occurred:
[code=DNS_HOST_NOT_FOUND] The host name was not found during the DNS lookup. Contact your system administrator if the problem is not found by retrying the URL.</b>" while trying to start PC-UI from SE80>BSP Apps>CRM_BSP_FRAME>Pages with Flow logic> and test select.htm.
I've checked with our BASIS guy, he told me to update my host file with CRM server details, which I did, and still getting the same error in Internet Explorer.
We are using a proxy server, does it make a difference?
its the same error with IC webclient as well!!
Help highly appreciated.
Thanks
PraveenThink I figured it out myself.
Just set the IE not to use proxy server for IC webclient and PC-UI URL, in <b>Tools>internet options>connections>LAN settings>Advanced>Exceptions box, type in the URL</b> eg:http://wicomp02.xxxxxxx.com:8001

Hi
When trying to start the reports service from 9iAS, i am getting error message as "REP-0001 Unable to open the message file", and in the Window Title it shows "Message 16200 not found, No message file for product rw".

RanganathHi,
You(The user) need to have access permission to read the mesg files. The DBA installing Reports will be able to run the reports.
Grant read access to rwus.msb and rwus.msg files on $ORACLE_HOME/reports/mesg/
Try to run it, should work.
Thanks,
Oracle Reports Team. -

Solution would be easy ...like if the Essbase Agent is stopped using the services.msc (services panal)on Windows while a process is currently running, or if there has been an abnormal termination of the Essbase Agent, orphaned ESSSVR processes can be left. Shuting down the Essbase server using ESSCMD or MaxL then Check Task Manager confirm the ESSBASE.exe process later by this ESSSVR.exe processes should end if still NO then Do an "End Process" on any ESSSVR.exe process that is still running. Start the Essbase service and start the application.
ESSSVR.exe is process which keep application Alive (bad thing is if u have many applications running similarlly u have same numbe of ESSSVr .exe will be running in task master ..but u cant find out which one belongs to which application :( )
Reasons
looking at your error i can say , First of all you need to know what is Lock in EAS ? and what locks exist
(right-click on Essbase Servername, EDIT->LOCK and EDIT->LOCKED OBJECTS, and if your database/outline appears in there, unlock it.)
Check any antivirus- and backup software that may be scanning / running on your Essbase folders as that can lock the files and any ESSSVR process stays when the Essbase Agent is stopped
More over another chance of getting error is when you have you page and index files in different location and rest otl, rep.csc script in another drive .. usually while taking back up in OTL,csc drive u do get created index file and page file even u have page and index file in diffrent drive so doe to this u get this error unable to load database
Hope this give u some idea -

No this is not a clustered environment.
yeah but under domains there are two domains we have created.
i.e. domains/ domain1 domain2
both are having soa servers as managed server.
in one domain soa is up but in domain2 it is not getting up causing above errors while starting.
FYI : It is causing problem now only.. before this , soa server on both the server have been up & running simultaneously.

Edited by: 829347 on Feb 2, 2011 12:48 AMHow are you starting the managed server? Is it a new install? The error suggests that the managed server is already running. You could check the windows task manager to see if there is a Java process running (or two if managed and admin server is on the same machine)

Error while starting Weblogic 11g on which OIF 11g is hosted
Hi,
We have deployed/installed OIF(OIM) on WLS 11g on RH Linux 4.
We created a separate domain in WLS to host the OIF. The installation of OIF on WLS was completed successfully.
The setup was working fine when the installation completed however the WLS started facing the issues or started failing to start when we re-started the machine.
Note: The default domain(other then where OIF is hosted) in WLS starts without any errors. When we start the other domain where OIF is hosted the server gives the following error.
Any pointers and root cause of the error would be very much helpful to us.
We appreciate you time.
Thanking you in advance.
Following is the error trace that we get.

Edit 1:
And what does any of this have to do with 'Java Upgrade', beyond the fact you want to 'upgrade' your code from broken to working?

Error while starting the AqAdapter in SOA Suite 11g Admin Console
facing an issue with the AqAdapter(Resource Adapter) in Soa Suite 11g Admin Console.
we go to Deployments --> Select Aq Adapter --> Currently it shows the status as Prepared
Now we try to Start it again --> it comes back with the error message mentioned below
weblogic.application.ModuleException: weblogic.connector.exception.RAException:
Jndi Name is null or empty. Errors were encountered while performing this operation.
source path on the admin server is mentioned here for this AqAdapter:
/opt101/app/oracle/SOAD/SOA11gR1/fmw/Oracle_SOA1/soa/connectors/AqAdapter.rar
deployment plan :
/opt101/app/oracle/SOAD/SOA11gR1/fmw/Oracle_SOA1/soa/connectors/was/Plan. xml
We check in the Configuration tab --> Outbound Connection Pools -->
here it shows the Group as javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory and under it we have setup
2 connection pool instances with JNDI names as : eis/AQ/aqSample & eis/aq/B2BAQ
Could someone please help here as to what could be the reason why this error is coming and
how we could resolve this.
With Regards & thanksThis is what we have done :
1.Created the JDBC data source & connection pool as below :
data source name : B2BAQ , JNDI name : jdbc/B2BAQ
Connection Pool :
URL : taken from the tns entries of the instance
Driver Class Name : oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver
Tested this connection ..it works fine from the Admin Console
2.Then go to Deployments --> AqAdapter -> Configuration tab --> Outbound Connection Pool Group -->
Create a new connection pool instance -- General tab
connection interface factory : javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory
JNDI Name : eis/AQ/B2BAQ
Then in Properties tab : Enter the Data Source Name : jdbc/B2BAQ
Then we try to Start the AqAdapter from the Admin Console..it goes into Prepared status.
The error message which comes is mentioned above.
Is there any way we could resolve this ..that would be very helpful
Regards

Sreekar Suri.Hi,
I had this problem after warehouse builder standalone installation. Looks like, it modified Environment variables.
Check Environment variables in control panel. I added these values to system path variable:
C:\OracleBI\server\Bin;C:\OracleBI\web\bin;C:\OracleBI\SQLAnywhere;C:\OracleBI\jdbc;
Though, not sure exactly which one helped, but now i have presentation services stared.
