Error - Rendered Image is NULL

Hello !
I am trying to work on animated objects. I have imported XMII Dynamic Graphics from sdn website and imported the same in my project.
Now when I am tyring to use HorizLEDMeter or any of its object I am getting the error as  "Rendered Image is null".
Can anyone please tell me what can be the solution for this ??
Thanks.

Please use the latest service pack. I was facing the same problem and after application of service pack, the problem was resolved

    Hi,
    I am unable to launch Intellij IDEA from command line using ./idea.sh on my Mac (OS 10.7.4). The intellij IDEA flash screen comes up after which I am seeing the following error and the application hangs -- the IDEA does not open. I have been trying to get over this for a long time but no help. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Rahul.

    My input certainly wasn't intended to ba sarcastic, so please forgive me if it seemed so.
    Seroiusly, always do a search before updating, http://discussions.apple.com/search.jspa?objID=f1201&search=Go&q=update+problem, NI is flaky at best IMHO, did you heck with them yet to see if a patch is available?
    Always wait a few weeks before updating, a reinstall is a headache, goodluck!

  • Editing Error - This Image cannot be rendered for editing...

    Editing Error - This Image cannot be rendered for editingbecause Aperture doesn't support the image format.
    Thats the message that appears when I'm exporting to Photoshop CS5 (I tried CS4 too), or even other Plug-ins such as Silver Efex Pro...
    That had never happened before, and I use Aperture for over 2 years.
    Its RAW image format from the same camera and all, nothing has changed. just randomly decided not to export anymore to other programs, Regular exporting works, so it's nothing to do with exporting it self, but the communication between aperture and other softwares, I think.
    I've seen some other people having the same problem, does anyone have a take on it, in how to solve this? I can't edit anymore outside of aperture. (of course not including the idea of exporting and doing everything away from aperture, which is totally not viable with the amount of content to be edited and not being in aperture anymore.)
    I've tried deleting the preferences, tried repair permissions of the Library, and still didn't work.
    Didn't go to the other 2 options (repair and rebuild database) because it would take days if chosen, and still not sure that would solve. or if has anything to do with.
    Any light anyone?

    What kind of file is it? (i.e.jpeg, Canon RAW, Nikon RAW etc..)
    As a workaround until you get the issue fixed, why not reimport the image from the original file, lift and stamp any adjustments you've made in Aperture, and see if the same problem occurs?

  • Rendering Image in JPanel

    Hi,
    I am completely new to java imaging and I am planning to build a small image viewer application (something similar to the comic book reader).
    After some search and following the discussion here [http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=20&threadID=362429|http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=20&threadID=362429] , I have main app consists of JFrame with SplitPane which consists a ScrollPane. In separate class, I have JPanel class. I am trying to add the JPanel in ScrollPane when application starts. JPane is responsible for fetching and rendering image but something went wrong and it is giving me a NullPointer Exceptions. So far I was able to figure out that it is causing by the "paintComponent" method but no idea why. I am looking for a nice suggestions and guidance on this topic (especially something like why it didn't work and various ways to do things). "For Dummies" style suggestions are highly appreciated.
    Follwing are my two classes:

    Thanks

    You should not call paintComponent explicitly (especially with a null Graphics object).
    It is called internally when the component needs to repaint itself.

    please help...
    shay

    There are many possible reasons, for example:
    - pngEncoder produces wrong result.
    - byte array is corrupted on transition.
    I'd suggest to save this byte array as file and check if this image can be open by any image viewer.
    Also, it seems Image I/O is applicable in your scenario.
    Consider using it because it is recomeded API to work with images nowadays
    (unless you have something ImageIO can not handle, e.g. animated images)

  • After Effects Error: rendering error while writing to file...Output Module failed - 1610153646

    Hi – I’m currently working with someone who is running After Effects 5.5v10.5.0.253 on a PC which is running Windows 7 Ultimate. The computer has just recently been built and the software is newly installed. (ie. a couple of weeks old, max). Up until now, we have been using After Effects with no real issues. But tonight, we started to see the following error message, when trying to render something out:
    “After Effects Error: rendering error while writing to file xxxxx. Output Module failed, the file may be damaged or corrupted -1610153646” – displayed during render, which meant the render failed.”
    We started to review forums to see if we could come up with a fix and tried a few of the more common suggested solutions, including:
    Make sure there are no third-party plug-ins or Windows incompatible elements installed - as it’s a pretty new install, we haven’t added anything except out-of-the box elements.
    Clear the render queue – did this, no change.
    Reinstall Quicktime – did this, no change.
    Reinstall Creative Suite – also no change.
    Check the default program to open .mov files is Quicktime – Quicktime was already the default.
    A bit more detail about the machine...
    Ram is 32gb
    GPU is GeForce GTX 660ti
    250gb soild states
    2tb raid drive
    Any help would be much appreciated. This is now happening on all AE files, even files that worked fine earlier in the week. Other than the AE and QT reinstalls mentioned above, nothing new has been added to the machine this week. On a deadline – so a quick response would be amazing, right about now. Thanks.

    Hi Mylenium- thx for the quick response. We have have tried a bunch of different settings. AVIs work and we can do image sequences too. The only major problem seems to be with Quicktime files. While I appreciate your suggetion to convert with AME - this is only a workaround. Was really hoping for a solution that will fix the problem in After Effects? Heard rumor from a few friends in the biz, that this is a major bug... if possible, some feedback from Adobe product devs or someone with a technical background would be great! Thx.

  • GeoRaster theme: no rendered images

    I have loaded/validated a georaster. It appears fine in the GeoRasterViewer, and the spatial extent appears fine as a vector theme in Mapviewer. But addGeoRasterTheme in my jsp results in the log warning:
    "GeoRaster theme [themename] has no rendered images."
    Anyone have experience with the root cause of this warning? Does this indicate a problem with the georaster, or a problem with the request? Any feedback is appreciated.

    Here's the log. (the 'exception while getting srid...' is a red flag! Hopefully it will lead to my mistake)

  • Uncaught error fetching image? Help appreciated.

    Hello. I'm currently working on a simple game that is quite similar to Minesweeper. There are 25 JPanels that show an image when they are clicked, the object being to find all the gophers. Everything is working fine, but for some reason I'm getting an error when an image tries to load. This happens randomly throughout the game, with some loading and then crashing when the error appears. The error I get is the following:
    Uncaught error fetching image:

            at sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher.run(ImageFetcher.java:136)I'm currently using a modified version of Random that someone created, that makes sure values in a certain range are not repeated, to assign strings containing the image file's name randomly across the JPanels. Here's the method that I'm using to assign the strings:
        public void Generate() {
            for(int i = 0; i <= 24; i++) {
                if(i < maxGophers)
                    imageName = "gopher.jpg";
                else if(i < maxGophers+maxWolves && wolvesJCheckBox.isSelected())
                    imageName = "wolf.jpg";
                else if(i > maxGophers)
                    imageName = "hole.jpg";
                switch(generator.getNextInt(26)) {
                    case 1: panel1 = imageName;
                            break;
                    case 2: panel2 = imageName;
                            break;
                    case 3: panel3 = imageName;
                            break;
                    case 4: panel4 = imageName;
                            break;
                    case 5: panel5 = imageName;
                            break;
                    case 6: panel6 = imageName;
                            break;
                    case 7: panel7 = imageName;
                            break;
                    case 8: panel8 = imageName;
                            break;
                    case 9: panel9 = imageName;

                } // end switch
            } // end for
        } // end method Generate{code}This is the code I'm using to load the images once the JPanels are clicked:
    {code:java}        imageIcon = new ImageIcon(panel1);
            image = imageIcon.getImage();
            Graphics g = blankJPanel1.getGraphics();
            g.drawImage (image, 1, 1, blankJPanel1);{code}There's also a JButton that draws all the associated images on all the panels, but that gives the error as well, drawing only some until it encounters it.
    I'm quite sure this isn't the most efficient way to go about it, so I'm open to any changes and suggestions. There are 25 JPanelsYou need to hold them in an array. All that panel1, panel2, ... panel25 business is a waste of time and space.
    java.lang.NullPointerExceptionSo something is null that shouldn't be.
    imageIcon = new ImageIcon(panel1);
    image = imageIcon.getImage();
    Graphics g = blankJPanel1.getGraphics();
    g.drawImage (image, 1, 1, blankJPanel1);i.e. one of those variables.

    Is this what is causing the issue? Because my application is working fine.

    No BalusC, its just I have tested the application after approx. 37 min. The application was inactive for that time.

  • What is Uncaught error fetching image ?

    Hi,
    I am using Netbeans 5.5.1 with JDK 6 bundle and trying to build an GUI application but I am getting strange error like this when I try to compile and run:
    =====================================================
    Uncaught error fetching image:
    java.lang.NullPointerException
    at sun.awt.image.URLImageSource.getConnection(URLImageSource.java:97)

    at sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher.fetchloop(ImageFetcher.java:172)
    at sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher.run(ImageFetcher.java:136)
    =====================================================
    I tried to debug but I was not able to. It happens even before the first line of code executes?
    What is this error and how can I fix this?
    Thanks

    Well I have one image loaded in label and one in a button. Both loaded as classpath. I have tried to set the image as null (no image) but it still shows the same error. However I can build my application without error. This error shows only if tried to run from within the IDE. Built jar file can be executed from outside the IDE.

  • Image.getWidth(null) and image..getHeight(null)  returns -1

    Hi ,
    Plz tell me whats wrong with code
    import java.awt.Image;
    import java.awt.Toolkit;
    public class ImgSize {
        public static void main(String args[]) {
            Image image = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage("Picture.jpg");
            double width = image.getWidth(null);
            double height = image.getHeight(null);
            System.out.println("width :" + width + "-- height :" + height);
            getImageDimesion("Picture.jpg");
        public static void getImageDimesion(String abc) {
            Image image = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage(abc);
            double width = image.getWidth(null);
            double height = image.getHeight(null);
            System.out.println("width :" + width + "-- height :" + height);
    }output:
    width :-1.0-- height :-1.0
    width :2592.0-- height :1944.0
    There is no difference in main function getWidth/ getHeight and function getImageDimension getWidth/ getHeight
    If u remove getWidth and getHeigth in the main function i.e comment the 1st four lines in main function then the output is
    Output
    width :-1.0-- height :-1.0
    Plz help in understanding this.
    Thanks
    Venkat

    Toolkit images are not loaded until they are first drawn or you request a property from it (such as getWidth). To force the image to load and wait for it to finish loading, you can use the MediaTracker class. The ImageIcon class has one built in.
    Image image = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage("Picture.jpg");
    new ImageIcon(image); //loads the image

  • Web-UI error message "Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible"

    I need some help, I'm not a Basis person but I need to get this connection problem resolve.
    This problem is in our DEV ICWeb system.  After logging in to Web-UI, I got a error message "Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible".  We have 3 clients (100, 220, & 310) in DEV and all 3 clients are giving me the same error message.
    From the help.sap.com, I found this topic http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwes70/helpdata/en/84/43f0d786304e19a652a8f80909a8ec/content.htm
    but in the document it asked to go to SM59 to check the ESH_APPL_WS_TEMPLATEENGINE destination.  But we don't have that destination setup in all our systems.
    Here is the complete error message:

  • Image is NULL exception, problems displaying a png file

    Hi people,
    I want to display a simple image using j2me on my siemens sl45i emu.
    I'm using the following code to load my png 8x8(created with photoshop, 2bpp) image:
    public void load()
    try
    testImage = Image.createImage("res/enemy1.png");
    catch (Exception e)
    System.err.print("Ladefehler: " + e);
    when I want to display the image using the follwing code:
    private void render(Graphics g)
    g.drawImage(testImage,0,0,0);
    g.drawString("**** you!", 0, 0, Graphics.TOP|Graphics.LEFT);
    I'm getting the following exception:
    java.lang.NullPointerException: Image is null.
    Why do I get this exception when I want to display the image and not when I'm loading the image(something like "couldn't load image..." )....
    I've placed enemy1.png in a folder called "res" in my jar file. Displaying text does work so I don't understand why I can't display an image...
    Any help would be great!
    Thanx in advance, alex

    This can't be possible!
    private void load()
         GameGraphics.getInstance().load();
         Player.getInstance().load();
    I'm printing debug messages in both load()-methods and I'm getting an exception in the player class because gamegraphics didn't finish loading (I can see it from the debugging messages)
