Error rendering Chart when using decimal data
I am using XML Publisher Desktop 5.6.2 on MSWin with Regional and Language Options = Slovenian.
I have problem with rendering Chart when source xml data file contains decimal data points
(eg: SALARY = 6938.55). For example, if I want to show sum or average of SALARY
on the chart I get the error message, something like:
XML Parsing Error: no element found
Location: file:///C:/PROGRA~1/Oracle/XMLPUB~1/TEMPLA~1/tmp/xdoimg_7K9huZ0hRQ47453.svg
Line Number 1, Column 1:
If I use only integer values everything is ok. It looks like there is kind of mis-interpretaion of
decimal character (dot vs comma - Slovene language uses comma as decimal char and
dot as separator char). I tried this with both Preview Options Locale:
English/United States [en-us] and Slovenian/Slovenia [sl-si] with the same result.
My Java Home is C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\.
Any idea how to fix this ?
Hey Gunter,
Thanks much, that did work.
The other error I spoke of was fixed with the new database, so apparently the two errors I spoke of weren't related.
You seem to be a good help to this forum, thank you for that.... fixing my problem relieved me from much stress.

Error in DW when using Dynamic Data
Hello all,
I'm not sure if my problem is common or rare, so I'll give you two versions.
Short Version:
Everytime I load a page with Dynamic date (I'm using PHP MySQL), the problem tells me an error was encountered and it boots me after I select to send or not to send the Error message.
Long Version:
I have a database in MySQL set up to use. I have 23 or 24 fields in the main DB, and 6 other DBs involved. Currently I'm only using Dreamweaver for Data Entry into my inventory. I created a Add Product page to update the MySQL DB, and I succesfully entered about 80 products. I then decided I wanted a new category, added it to MySQL, and proceeded again. This time I encountered an error.... something to the tune of my SQL Script being bad at the " on line 1. I'm not very familar with MySQL, and after a couple of hours trying to figure this out, I went to bed. Next morning, I try to recreate a new database, and a new DW site, to start from scratch (since everything was working fine before the errors).
Now my errors are listed in the Short Version. Everytime I open a page with dynamic data, the program ecounters an error and I get booted.
Anyone experience anything similar, or anyone know any solutions?
Thanks much for any input.

'Error 8 occurred when starting the data extraction program'
Hello Experts,
I am trying to pull master data (Full upload) for a attribute. I am getting an error on BW side i.e. 'The error occurred in Service API .'
So I checked in Source system and found that the an IDOC processing failure has occurred. The failure shows 'Error 8 occurred when starting the data extraction program'.
But when I check the extractor through RSA3, it looks fine.
Can someone inform what might be the reason of the failure for IDOC processing and how can this be avoided in future. Because the same problem kept occurring later as well.
Thanks
Regards,
KPHi,
Chk the idocs from SM58 of source system are processing fine into ur target system(BI system)...?
Chk thru Sm58 and give all * and target destination as ur BI system and execute and chk any entries pending there?

Adobe Premiere CC 2014.2: losing rendered files when using warp stabilizer
Hi,
I am constantly losing rendered files when using the warp stabilizer. So far I have tried about every hint I could find on the web such as cleaning the cache, rebuilding the rendered files, creating additional sequences etc etc.
Honestly I am getting tired of using a product that isnt cheap in the first place to rent and where a bug like this apparently persists over several product versions without being fully fixed (I have had this problem throughout 2014 but according to forum postings others seem to have problems with much earlier versions as well).
I would be really grateful if somebofy has any suggestion how this can be addressed.
I am also happy to help testing fixes - if there are any fixes available.
Thanks a lot and Happy New Year!
MartinHi Catherine,
Welcome to the Adobe forums.
Please try the steps mentioned below and check if it works for you.
1. Launch Premiere Pro and create a Project, go to File menu>Project Settings>Renderer and change the Renderer to Software only mode, delete previews if you get a prompt and then try to import the clip.
2. If step 1 fails or the Renderer is already on Software only mode, go to Start Menu and search for Device Manager, go into Display Adapters and Right click on the Graphics card to select Update driver software option, on the next screen choose "Browse my computer for driver software", then choose "Let me Pick from a list..." option and from the list select "Standard VGA Graphics adapters. You might need to change the screen resolution of your screen and once done restart the machine again.
Launch Premiere Pro and import the clip to check.

Error 7 occurred when generating the data transfer program
Hello All ,
In Master Data Load Process Chain , we get error like
1. System Response
Caller 09 contains an error message.
Diagnosis
Error 7 occurred when generating the data transfer program for the requested InfoSource.
System Response
The data transfer is terminated.
Procedure
Check the SAP Support Portal for the appropriate Notes and create a customer message if necessary.
Note : We faced this issue for two days now . Just repeating the load make it success .
If any one faced and fixed this issue . Please let me know .
Thanks in advance .Hi,
. Initially goto transaction SE38, Run the program RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL. Give your Datasource name, and source system and check the check box for "Only Inactive objects".
This will actiavate the given datasource.
2. Replicate the datasource in RSA1.
3. Try to schedule the infopackage for the datasource which you have activated now.
4. IF infopackage runs through, Repeat the process for all datasources ie uncheck the check box, which means it will activate all datasources for the source system.
Also make sure that there will be enough Back Ground Processor available....
Reduce the parallel process
Thanks

Hi there , Why Do I Receive Error Code -1073807253 When Using VISA

Hi ahmed,
you can attach picture directly in the forum...
If you would use an error indicator you could read an explanation of the error. It's a "framing error", happening sometimes when using serial connections...

Excel Error When Using Microsoft Data Link
I have a user who is running the following:
Windows 7 w/64 bit OS
MS Office 2010
SAS 9.3 Software
They created a database in Excel and have integrated the information with SAS 9.3 database.
For some reason, now when they try to 'Refresh' data in the Excel spreadsheet, Excel
freezes and then crashes.
I believe it's because the 'Microsoft Data Link' is failing, during set-up. Below are
the error messages they get, when trying to set-up the 'Microsoft Data Link' with the
SAS 9.3 software:
ERROR MESSAGES:
1. Microsoft Data Link Error: Test connection failed because of an error in setting the
window handle property. Multipl-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB
status value, if available. No work was done. Continue with test connection? Yes or
No.
2. Microsoft Data Link: Test connection succeeded but some settings were not accepted by
the provider.
I don't know where to begin troubleshooting this issue, as I don't use the SAS
9.3 software, nor have I ever attempted to use the 'Microsoft Data Link' option in
Excel.
TROUBLESHOOTING I'VE TRIED:
Repair of MS Office 2010
Uninstall/Reinstall Excel 2010
Any assistance would be appreciated.Hi,
In regarding of the issue, please provide us more information to assist you better.
Did this issue occur with other database program? Such as Access, SQL sever or other?
If the Excel still crashes, I recommend we collect the Event log and App crash dump file to do further troubleshooting. You can try to analyze dump by
yourself if you would like to:
How to analyze app crash dump file:

Also you can send them to us via Email ([email protected])
If the issue occur with the SAS 9.3 software, I recommend you connect it's provider or support to get more help.
Did you
use 'Microsoft Data Link' like this?
If it was, we may need to debug the connecting string, you can post the question to Visual Studio forum.
Hope it's helpful.

Error deploying in Studio when using 2 data sources

However, when I deploy using one source and specify DSN, it works. It is giving me these error when the option is ODBC (Essbase dynamically creates ODBC connection string) which I can't control when there are two sources. Any help is greatly appreciated.

How can I prevent a memory flow error from occuring when using 3D contour plots?
After displaying a single contour plot a number of times, LabVIEW crashes and reports a memory overflow error. I only load a single 2D array, never storing previouls ones. I always index the data for contour plot 0, and don't explicitly store multiple 2D arrays in any buffer, such as appending data to a shift register. There appears to be some sort of memory leak in LV when using this feature. Is there a programatic way to flush the stored data in a contour plot prior to displaying the next 2D array of data?
Hello MicTomReiSr,
Is this in the LabVIEW development environment? Are you making changes to the code and then running the VI? Does the plot contain default data? Is the indicator cleared when the program stops? The Plot Clean Data method may be what you're looking for.
Remember that the development environment maintains an undo history of the changes you've made, and copies both the block diagram and FP contents each time. If you have a lot of data displayed on the front panel you end up copying it multiple times. This isn't a problem unless you're actively editing the VI in question.
If you do need to edit and run the VI at the same time (perfectly reasonable, although you might want to consider a 64-bit installation or more RAM if you commonly work with resource-intensive data types like 3D plots) try reducing the Undo history length (Tools>>Options), although be aware that you won't be able to back up as many steps.

Unable to use decimal data in the datasources in the IOP RELEASE 11.1.2.1
Hi,
I have created a datasource of type Database and given an sql query which is fetching some of the decimal data.
But when I am checking preview for the sql query, it is showing integer data (rouding off the decimal value) even though the field type is coming as double.
Please let me know how to resolve this issue.
Thanks,
NehaAre you mapping your datasource to a view? -- If so, this may be due to a known issue caused by jdbc. Way to work around it is to use a table instead of a view, with number columns defined with explicit precision, as in NUMBER(10,2).
