Error Replicating DataSource to BW .....Urgent

Hi All,
During replication of DataSource from our CRM to BW we selected Replicate as DataSource somewhere and all the datasources except Hierarchies are save as DataSources and not as DataDource 3.x. Can someone tell me how to change all DS to DS 3.x, there are more then 600 of these so individually its impossible for us to do.

our R/3 system it was upgraded one week ago for the ECC6 version and our BW version is still 3.0b, i don't know if because the upgrade processus i get this error and i have to do something in the BW system...

Hi Gowri,
Replication needs to be done only when you change the extract structure which in turn would change your datasource. The simplest way to know when replication needs to be done is each time you save you datasource in R/3. This causes the timestamp of the datasource to be changed and hence the timestamp of the datasource in R/3 and BW are not in sync. Replication would make the timestamp in sync in both R/3 and BW.
Hence you would notice the error "Timestamp error" when you do not replicate the datasource after changing it.

I have installed the Site Studio Publishing utility on content Server machine.
I have installed the site studio publishing client on my machine and I have configured successfully. I mean to say that I have configured the destination on Publishing Utility & Content Provider on Publishing Client.
I have created the publishing job on the the site. I could see the content delivered on my machine from the content server, successfully. Now i have updated the site in the Site designer. I have just added "Hi" in the site layout page in the site designer. I have saved it. Now I have given the publishing job again. While running the job, I am getting following Error:

i switched off all the security settings and all the firewalls.
i m unable to install any of the app on the ipad
so i saw the apple support and it said to update the older version of my ipad.
and niether am i able to download the update nor am i able to download any app and install it in my ipad2
i also tried to download an .ipsw file (ios5 update) from torrentz bt i am also unable to install from that as itunes rjects that file and gives an error. and also tries to delete that file. plz anyone help urgently.

Replicated datasources transportation

i have created TR for all the datasources (3 generic and 1std(3.5)) in ecc DEV.I ahve also created TR for replicated datasources for the above in BWDev.
so, once the ECC DEV to ECCQA moves , DO I NEED TO REPLICATE THE DATA SOURCES AS I HAVE GOT REPLICATED DATAOUSRCES IN BWD ev?
2. what would happen if i manually replicate the datas soruces in BWQA, then transport replicated datasources from BWD evto BWQA
3. if i need not activate manually the datasoruce in ECCQA, then i should wait for the replicated datasources to reach BWQA, and then only transport other request?
4. how to transport ONLY PSA? what are the necessary steps to be taken?

There is no harm in replicating the datasource in BI QA box...once you replicate them to get them activated you can send the transport request...
ARE u saying that after manually replicating in BIQA, the replicated datasources request from BIDEV to BIQA would activate the dataosources in BIQA?
Even if you dont replicate and send the replicated request it will do.
What i understand is that i can simply transport the ECC request to ECCQA , then just transport the replicated datasources from BIDEV t BIQA for replicating the datasources and then after this all the other BI requests should be imported?
my concern is that if i manually replicate the datasources in BIQ, then start importing all the BI request and i ahve got first 3 replicated datasources followed by other requests. so ,after the manual activation, once these replicated datasources moves, should i wait for reactivation of all the datasources and only then transport request of the transports?

Hi,
Are you working on SRM as source, if the name length is more than 16 characters it is not required....you can reduce the characters in the backend SRM and again reload.
For invalid character you can go to RSMO and get into details tab to find out the actual invalid character. Sometimes small cap and capital can reasult in this issue.

Error while Replicating Datasource from R/3

In R/3 extraction, after activating the datasource in R/3 and replicating the datasource in BI, I received an error saying that 'SQL error occured when accessing a table' with Message no. RSAR051... Help me in this.

I checked in ST22. But there is no problem in it. Pls give me the solution..

Replicating Datasources

Hi All
We have BI system connected to R/3 system. Now our Qual R/3 system is upgraded from 4.6c to ECC 6.0. Now the BASIS is trying to connect Qual R3 and Qual BI system. When we rt. click on source system in RSA1, it says at the end: datasource cant be saved to the datasource : 3.x 0material_attr. whats this mean ? It says with the same name, RSDS datasource exists.
What steps we have to do immdly when a R/3 system is upgraded ?
1) do we have to do something in R3 also with the DSs ?
2) If the replication on Rt. click on Source system fails with the above error, what should i do ?
can i manually replicate that datasource in RSDS ? I dont see that DS too in my BI. So why it says to be replicated ? Should i restore it as 3.x or RSDS ds ?

There may be some data sources missing after R/3 upgrade to ECC6.

Create Request Error in BI 7.0 - URGENT

I'm collecting the objects for the cube using the data flow before and collect automatically mode.
When I create a request I'm getting the below error message.

Pl advise it very URGENT need to move the object to Test Box for UAT.

Impdp error while attaching the job - Urgent - Prod batches are stopped

I am getting following error, when I invoke the following command.

The actual import job was stopped with stop_job in impdp> prompt.
DB Version: 10.2.0.2.
Please throw some lights to fix this issue. Production batches are already on hold. It is very urgent.

But when I am running the FM or the extractor checker it is giving actual records with our any error
Could you please help me what to do ?
No job log in job overview , only it is given Cancelled.

Some possibilities:
1. Replicate the data source and then try loading.
2. Check the RFC connection ; may be it is broken.
3. Check the update rules to see it is active.
