Error Report: No Data Usage Alerts for 250 MB Plan - June 2014

Hi, this post will report a data usage alert error for June 2014.
I previously signed up for data usage alerts when 50%, 75%, and 90% of my data is used. On June 10, at 11:00 PM, I discovered through my Verizon Wireless account that over 250 MB of data had already been used (my plan contains 250 MB). I did not receive any usage alerts prior to this time. I immediately upgraded to the 500 MB plan to avoid overage charges.
If the data usage alerts had worked properly, I would not have faced the upgrade fee or overage charges. Would it be possible to cancel the additional charges that arose this month because the data usage alerts did not work properly?

Are you serious!!! Look at all of the calls on this matter in your records and fix it. I am sure at this point that it is another Verizon scam to solicite millions of dollars from it's customers only to have yet another class action lawsuit filed so the lawyers can get rich and the customers screwed.

Data Usage Alert for wrong account

I received 2 email alerts for an acount that is not mine. I'm not concerned too much, but I'd like to make sure my email address is not connected to this other account.

I receive email alerts when my data usage gets to 75%, 90%, and 100% of usage. How do I remove one of the email addresses these alerts are being sent to (it is not one of my email addresses)?

I understand your desire to update which email addresses receive the data usage alerts. I would love to assist.
When you log into your My Verizon account online, you can edit your alert settings (email addresses and phone numbers) within the "Manage My Account" section of your online account. Under the "Manage My Account" tab on the left, click the "Manage Family Safeguards & Controls" link. Then, under the "Usage Controls" tab, click "View Details & Edit". Lastly, under the "Usage Limits" tab you will then be able to edit the email addresses that you want to receive email alerts. Please let me know how this works out for you.

Ever wonder why carriers don't send text usage alerts for your minutes? They do it for data but not minutes.

I don't know about anyone else but I check my usage almost every day. If you're with AT&T you can download the "my AT&T" app that will allow you to check your minutes and data usage. You can also send a free text to *MIN# and *DATA#, and you will get a free text back telling you how many minutes and how much data you've used (as someone else has already said). I'm sure Verizon has a comparable service. These days I'm checking more for my data usage than minute usage, as I have a considerable amount of rollover minutes built up with AT&T. I'm on wifi most of the time but I still like to keep track of the data, just to be sure I'm not going over.

I am having a issue with getting data useage alerts for my iphone 4s from AT&T. I do not download anything huge at all.
I looked into it and figured out that the phone dials out nightly at 12:29am every night. I went into my settings and went to general..about..diagnostics and useage..then diagnostics and useage data to see this. I then clicked don't send...but I am still getting useage alerts. Can anyone help me please...

Honestly, from reading the thread linked, they all come off as a bunch of whiney people that cannot be bothered to help themselves.
Little to nothing in that thread indicates an issue beyond inept consumers. Yes, I read several pages on the incessant gripes. Very few made any actual attempts to troubleshoot issues before whining about the "Apple issue" and those that did actual troubleshooting got their issues resolved.
So no, Apple has nothing to fix beyond a few specific devices that are experiencing hardware issues.
If you have actually put forth effort and done the basic troubleshooting, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement. Whining will get nothing accomplished.

How do you know what the data usage was for and why? It shows you date and usage but not the reason.

How can you see what data usage was for on the bill? It only shows the date and usage but not the reason for the usage.

You can not see this info on VZW's site. There are apps for smartphones that will break down the info though, but by site or what was downloaded

This isn't a feature that's built into iOS.
Most carriers will send an alert before you reach your data cap and you can check your data usage in Settings > Usage > Cellular Usage.

Xcode ERROR: Failed to create an alert for ID "enabled" based on defaults: 1

I installed OX 10.8 and xcode 4.4 and when I run any simple application for simulator it generated error in console:

I reinstalled with clean xcode, but it did not help. I see the building freeze when "coping 2 of 2 resources to product
Also, xcode freezes when I jusy click on Mainstoryboard.storyboard file.

Hi, i had the same problem yesterday and after searching I found no solution to this error.
Today i just burned the original Mountain Lion.dmg to a portable hard driver then reinstall the OS. And it seemed that the os had been restored and the error had been fixed.
And, i guess there's some app that changes some documents of the system. So when you rewrite the os, u get the bug fixed.

ERPI Error during Export data to GL for period 2012

Hi, experts
When I write back data from Planning to EBS, I encounter the following error during Export data to GL for period 2012. I have confirmed that Planning data has been upload to ERPI.

The data usage alerts seem to be a rip off!

So, on the 13th I got text messages saying that we used up all data in our plan and that we either sign up for an increased allowance for $10 / month or pay $15 for an additional GB for that period. I almost was tempted to sign up, but then didn't.
Well, we got the bill and turns out we were actually still UNDER our allowance by several hundred MB by the 16th, so on the 13th it would have been even lower.
I think it's a rip off if you send people a note that they used up all their data telling them to reply now to increase their allowance if in reality they're still well below.

I use this app. It does measure all data in and out, and because of that you will see its totals higher than the phone or Verizons data widget count since MMS is data, but doesnt count towards data allotment. It keeps me on track. It has plan and alarm settings to cut off your data when you reach certain thresholds versus Verizon just sending out a text alert, but not disabling data.My Data Manager - Data Usage - Android Apps on Google Play
I typically set 3 alarms: 1 for a daily (Data amount divided by 31 days)
1 for 50% and
1 for 85-90%.
You can always re-enable mobile data if it cuts you off and it will continue to monitor your usage.

Untimely reporting of data usage

Why is Verizon's reporting of my data usage so sporadic? I received two data reports today, one at ~730 am, and one around 9:30am. Since then: NOTHING! Even though I streamed two 40+ minute programs (at their lowest resolution) from Hulu this afternoon. It's now 10:24pm, and still no report of my latest usage. I have 2 days left on my cycle, and I want to use as close to my 10 Gb without going over. They charge per Gb if you go over, plus they "round up". If they keep you in the dark the last couple of days of your cycle, it pretty much assures them an add-on rip-off! Of course, it's all perfectly legal, since you have to sign the contract before you find out how they do the accounting! They own the FCC, so they think they have the right to rip us off.

If you were to go through at least 50 pages on the Mobile Web it would have been 0.6MB. One Game from Media Center is 0.2MB and one ringtone is 0.2MB. Here's a link to access the example of average data usage.

Right-clicking "data" on the model tab can you see the data?
In your code there's written:

Is it right the double slash before the file name?

I think your error is related to line item in internal table <b>itab_bapiebanc</b>. You need to increment for each loop.

Reports Sugestion - Data Template Support for Downloadable PDF Reports.

This is something that I miss in APEX reports that I would like to see. Right now I have BI Publisher tied to my APEX install but there are reports I would like to move over but I hate the fact that APEX does not have the ability to use BI Publisher XML Data Templates! It seems like if you have the integration this would be a natural thing to have so you could use complex report and APEX security (as I found a few issues in BI Publisher that are deal killers for running a few of my newer reports directly on BIP). Most of my reports are too complex and would require extensive XPath coding to setup using RTF templates. This just seems like something that would be very useful in APEX.

I know this doesn't help you right now so I will describe how it works. Create a Manual Web reference as described on Tyler's blog, except for the SOAP Envelope, using something like:

You can hardcode format to pdf if that is all you wish to download. You can also hardcode the userID parameter, reportAbsolutePath, and the password parameter if you wish. Use something like DOWNLOAD_DOCUMENT as the collection name.
Now create a page and create a before header process of type Web service that invokes this reference. The document's binary data will be stored in a node of an XML document in the collection encoded in base64 format. You will need another process that converts that to a BLOB and then presents a dialog to the browser to save the document. You can accomplish with a process like the following, after the call to the Web service:
