Error Report: Songs are not audio, just digital noise

spotify:album:7FQoSF1t0zNLt0PGeLKGEW Many tracks on this Album (M Hurd: Orchestral Music and Pop Cantatas) are full of hissing digital static.  Specifically the Hip Hip Horatio tracks.  It's the only time I've come across the problem on this service, and it's present on each device I try.   On a side note, I find it astonishing how difficult it was to file this error report - and I still have no idea if it will reach people who can do anything about it.  I'm used to free services making life very hard to send feedback, but I pay for Spotify.  You can do better in letting your users reach you. Please respond if this has been heard. ThanksDave

Your old reports are still pointing to same connection. Remember the DSN has been pointed to use another Database. The records and entries will be different. In addition as the records or object mapping have changed for these reports. Hence this would be a very normal behaviour.
Create a new connection named CON2 or something like that to point DB1 as per your requirement. This way your original reports would work.

    Brigancook, is the library database on the external or just the media? iTunes reevaluates smart playlists and rewrites its database after every action on the library. I've found this can make a library half that size, with a lot of smart playlists, quite sluggish. That said I'm aware part of my problem is aging hardware. Having the database on the internal drive may improve performance if it is currently on the external.
    I'd expect to see an exponential relationship between size and response time which may explain what you see. Cutting down on the number of smart playlists might help. If we're really lucky the long awaited iTunes 11 might have streamlined some of the background processes as well as cleaning up the front end.

    Edit > Preferences > Store check Music under Automatic Downloads.
    Open the iTunes Store from left hand column, then select Purchasedfrom the column on the right, click the Not In My Library button and select the tunes you want to download again.
    That said, you seem to be under a misapprehension as to how iTunes works, or at least how it has worked in the past. It has, until recently, been up to you take care of your purchases once they have been downloaded. You had a one-time download which you were reminded to back up. With the recent change to this policy you can at least download your store purchases again, but having a personal backup of your iTunes store purchases, stuff purchased elsewhere and files ripped from your CDs will still be preferable to gathering all the stuff together again in the event of a disaster.

It's these songs that won't transfer to the iPod. I have deauthorized and re-authorized the computer but no joy. Any ideas?

    I was thinking that some of the songs in your library may have been purchased under a different apple id. You have already done the first thing I would have done by de authorizing and re authorizing. To verify this, highlight one of the songs that will not sync over and use File>Get Info.     In the Summary section there will be an Apple ID entry. If it shows something different than what you are currently using then I recommend signing into the Apple ID it shows and authorizing the computer for that one as well.

    I have noticed these songs are not completed songs.  Can you guys check if your songs that post on itunes store are good ripped.  After i redownloaded and listened to these songs are still not completed songs.

    It is for BI 4.1 on Windows. We have a connection called CON1 pointing to DB1. It uses UNIV1 All reports were working fine and we were able to refresh it as well.
    Now the CON1 is changed to point to DB2 and we are now getting following error - "Some objects are not available to your user profile. You cannot refresh this Query. See your Business Objects administrator to request rights".
    If I create a new report using CON1 and the it works fine. Only the old reports are still causing issue on refresh. I tried with Admin account as well and same issue.
    The CON1 is still CON1 and universe UNIV1 is still using CON1. Just the content was edited from DB1 to DB2 in CON1. If we create a new report then no issue.
    Can anybody advice if something needs to compiled. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    If you've downloaded them on the iPad then they should be in the Videos app - iTunes on the iPad is just the iTunes store (the Purchased tab shows what content that you can re-download from the store and rentals can't be re-downloaded, and non-rental films can only be re-downloaded in some countries).

    Ok, after copious amounts of button pressing and check boxes I think I've got it.
    Go into the preferences menu under edit.
    Click the playback tab/icon
    There is a drop down menu that says "Play audio using", set this to Windows Audio Session.
    Hit ok.
    Restart iTunes.
    For me, this worked. I hope it works for you too!

    OOk so I have my new Apple id in my iTunes account but my old Apple ID is the one that is in the iCloud account which is the Apple ID have been using for years and the reason I cannot get it on this abled is because somebody was using my credit card or debit card that was on file for family sharing and it was a stolen iPhone from my account so they had to disable my Apple ID and I could not use my debit card anymore on any Apple ID ever again they said because of it so I can't get it not to be disabled and I can't sign into iTunes with it I already have signed out and signed in with my new Apple ID for iTunes it's just iCloud is not letting me load anything so pretty much what I've been doing is I have to erase every app and then re-dumb going to iTunes and re-download the apps again but the only issue is that I still have a disabled Apple ID as my iCloud settings and my iCloud family sharing in all of that so I'm wondering how or is it possible to change my Apple ID for iCloud specifically because when I go into Icloud and settings and go into my name where my Apple ID is the one that's disabled it doesn't say anything about log out or sign out or anything like that it just says to put the password for it so is there a way to change the Apple ID for my iCloud so that my iTunes in my iCloud is the same Apple ID?

  • Some of my songs are not activated.

    A couple of albums worth of my songs are 'not authorised to play on this machine'. These are songs I purchased about a month or two ago. A user name and password dialog box pops up and it has an old email adress in it. I change it to the correct email and enter my password and then it tells me I am authorised to play the song and that this is my first authorization. However when I hit play, the dialog box pops up again and It starts all over. After entering my name and password it tells me again that this is my first authorization. So it seems that the info is just getting tossed. I don't know why it's opening up and why it's using an old email address. I've not had that email address for 3 years and again I purchased these songs a couple of months ago. I am assuming that a file in the preferences got hosed. I don't know which one it would be.
    How do I listen to these songs.

    Thanks....I played one of them in iTunes and that seems to be doing the trick....
    I did get a message that says authorization was successful and the 5 out of 5 machines have been authorized.
    Two of the machines are defunct...one of theose being non-recoverable.

    Hi , If you are simply looking up data (and not updating tables ) using RFC you can use RFC Lookup APIs to create a java mapping
    The source message has to be a RFC request message interface and target should be RFC response message interface.
    Also you can use three step mappings in a single interface mapping.
    1. from your request message to RFC request message mapping
    2. java mapping which will do the lookup and give you rfc response back
    3.rfc response to your target response mapping.
    PS: RFC lookup can be used if there are not may hierarchy in the RFC Response structure. (i.e. may be 3 or 4 level nesting permitted)
