Error report when I try to open photoshop

I have jut downloaded a trial version of Photoshop CS4 but whenever I try to open it it just comes up about an error and it needs to close and would I like to send an error report to Microsoft; very frustrating! Does anyone know of a solution?

the first thing to check for with one of those is a broken quicktime. does your QuickTime currently launch, or does it give you an error message when you try to launch it?
if your QT gives you an error message, let's try a careful standalone QT 7.0.4 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.0.4 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

i have tried re installing quicktime and making sure that quicktime.qts and quicktimeVR.qtx are the only folders in my directory and it still wont work please help!

Try provoking that message again, han, and click on the "Click here" link in the error message box.
What ModName and ModVer are showing up for you in there?
If there isn't a ModName or a ModVer, what sort of event does it say the error involves? (For example, APPCRASH, InPageError, or BEX?)

Error six when I try to open Photoshop Elements

I own Elements 8, and it didn't successfully transfer from my former computer to my newest MacBook Pro. I.e., it told me to reinstall. That's not easy to do, since my new Pro doesn't have a disk drive, so I transferred the Elements file on a USB hard drive to the new computer. But now I get Error 6.
I would consider buying a new program if I could download it, but I can't see how to do that—I can't load via CD b/c my laptop doesn't have a slot.
Suggestions?

You can never, never, never transfer an installed copy of PSE. PSE is not a nice tidy package like most mac apps and you can never hope to get all the bits and bobs you need. Now you have made more work for yourself.
You will need to download and run this:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
then you can manually remove what got transferred over. Look not only in applications but also in hard drive>library>application support>adobe and your username>library>preferences as well as your username>library>saved application states.
To reinstall you would need to find someplace where you can copy the contents of your install disc to a thumb drive or some such thing, then use that to copy the files to the desktop of your mac. However, you will be about the first person to try installing PSE 8 in 10.10 and I have no idea of whether or not there will be problems doing that. Please let us know if you are successful--it will help other people who may need to reinstall.

I have researched Internet - ADOBE and others - to find a solution, but no luck! (see under)
The problem started around one year ago but I was able to open Bridge and go to Photoshop from there until recently.
Now I get "Error Code 16" in Bridge too when I am trying to go to Photoshop.
I have tried everything I could think of (including creating a new Administrator-user) with help from my Internet research and my own pretty good experience (I started working with computer systems as a Systems Analysts 1968...... - now it is only PCs)
I miss my Photoshop and Bridge a lot - it is very frustrating to have this problem, but I can see I am not the only one!!!

Hi Steadyalberta,
Something might be preventing Photoshop from being able to save your selection on the dialog window properly. You might try right clicking and choose Run as Administrator on the Photoshop icon when launching (Windows) or test if the behavior persists when using a newly created admin user account.

I have Citrix VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) Implemented
in my company and installed few Applications on App Server lets say.... MS Office 2013, filzialla, putty, etc...
I assigned these apps to the users through CITRIX STUDIO, when I try to use these apps. on VDI everything is working fine only when i tried to open Word, Excel or Powerpoing, outlook it throws error as

a terminal server"" and apps gets closed.
Please help me on this ASAP.

Hi,
As mentioned in ths article below, run for Office 365 products on to a Remote Desktop Session Host server is not supported. You can install Office products for Office 365 to a virtual desktop, but the virtual desktop must be assigned to a single user.

You may want to make sure you're installing the right version of itunes. If you have a 64bit system, you will need to make sure to download and install the 64bit version of iTunes.

You are seeing the message because the new AirPort Extreme has some specific System Requirements:

Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later and AirPort Utility 6.3
AirPort Utility 5.6.1 in Snow Leopard may or may not work correctly with the new Extreme for all functions. As long as things are working OK for now, you can probably leave them "as is" and wait for another Mavericks update to fix some issues before you "upgrade".
If you have an iPhone or iPad, you could use that to administer any settings changes on the new Extreme.
