  • R-1219 error when converting to 6i from reports 2.5

    Hi again,
I'm converting some reports from 2.5 to 6i. When I run one of the forms with the rwbld60 runtime module, I get the
    message:
    R-1219 M_2_HDR has no size.
M_2_HDR is just a frame holding the header boilerplate objects. The message, when looked up, says that I have
created an object with no height or width. Yet when I check the properties, there are no height or width properties
    to change.
Both versions of reports are in a text based UNIX environment.
    Thanks,
    Jim

    hi
This error is usually encountered when a report was designed in
bitmap, but now is used character mode.
To correct the problem, you would increase the size of the object
to greater than half the height and width of a character cell, or
move your object horizontally/vertically to correspond to the
    character grid.
    Thanks
    Rohit

  • Bug report: "convert to pdf" from explorer on set of .psd files prints documents on physical printer

I've recorded a tiny screen video to show this bug:
Please note, that printer window error 6000 is as expected (since I don't actually need to print this stuff).

I have a little speculation about this. Maybe...
I speculate that Acrobat will offer "convert to Adobe PDF" for any file where it finds a "print" verb available in the Windows shell. Acrobat assumes it can to a ShellExecute printto Adobe PDF. (It works for files you can drag to a specific nondefault printer in the printers control panel).
So, Acrobat doesn't understand PSD files and Photoshop doesn't know anything about Acrobat (though it can of course save as PDF, no connection to this). But because Photoshop offers a service to Windows, and Acrobat tries to use that service unsuccessfully, we end up with this mess.
So, Acrobat may offer conversion for whole classes of file which are quite surprising; and it won't always work (generally for a whole class of file).
    End of speculation.

  • Error in converting Web Items from 3.x to 7.0

    Hi
We are converting web items created in 3.0 to 7.0 using the program RSZW_ITEM_MIGRATION_3X_TO_70. It is converting all items, but the items that are not assigned to a library in 3.0 are not getting assigned to a role, although I am using the check box - 'Put unassigned items to role' and giving an existing role. I can see the converted item using the 'Find' functionality.
And maybe because the web items are not assigned to a role, when I am trying to convert a web template, it says that these web items need conversion.
Please let me know if there is any solution to the problem.
    Best Regards,
    Rajib

    Hello Oscar,
Every workbook that was created with the BW 3.x system, when you open it in the new BI 7 system, the system will prompt that message for migration.
But only after you save the workbook (that you open with BI 7) in the BI 7 Analyzer is the workbook really saved. If you don't save it, it will continue to show that message and you'll continue to have it in version 3.X
Also be aware that after you migrate (save in BI 7 version) the workbook will no longer be executed any more in the BW 3.x version, only in BI 7.
    Diogo.

  • Error in converting exchange rate

    Hi ,
While trying to create a sales order , I get an error "Condition YAGC : Error in converting exchange rate from KGAG to EUR." while trying to change the amount and the currency for the pricing condition YAGC.By default the currency comes up as EUR per 1 kg.I try to change it to KGAG (This is a currency code defined for our requirement).I have maintained the currency type , exchange rates from General Settings->Currencies->Check currency codes , General Settings->Currencies->Check exchange rate types. My ideal situation should be .02100 KGAG per 1 KG.Right now I am only able to do 1 EUR per 1KG as there is an error from KGAG to EUR conversion. What am I missing ? Should I maintain something in the pricing condition YAGC or in the procedure RVAA01 ? Kindly suggest.Thanks.

    Hi
Please check  whether you have maintained the exchange rates in

  • Authorization error report

I want to see authorization unsuccessful error report of 100 users from last 15 days.Is there any program need to executre or any process to get this?

    > venkat sap wrote:
    > Then there is NO solution for this?
I can think of a few solutions, but USR07 would not be one of them. There is also an old post about this "last failed check" and "reason codes for failed checks" which suggested that a development request to enhance them might be on the cards. I eventually decided not to open the development request.
    A simple solution:
To report on failed authority-checks for attempts to start transactions, the failed attempts to call RFC's and failed attempts to start reports, you can use the Security Audit Log (tcode SM20 <= use the search and the FAQ) for objects S_TCODE, S_RFC and S_PROGRAM. There might be false-positives for BDC programs... see the threads on function module AUTHORITY_CHECK_TCODE.
    A more complex solution:
Intended for recording detailed information about authorization checks during the development of applications (much more detailed than USR07, SU53 and St01), there are an obscure set of tables which contain information about (failed) authority-checks. They are not intended really for production systems and there is a SAP note which explains how to use them and warns about consequences for rapid growth of the tables, particularly in large systems with many users... I could not find any infos on the search terms here at SDN, but if you are interested, I can dig in my box-of-tricks to see whether I can find the infos again. I dont think that it was originally intended for production systems though, much like ST01, debugging, etc, etc...
If your authorization concept is confident of the application authorizations which the users have, then the simple solution would, in my opinion, be sufficient for monitoring purposes, which can then be drilled down further once abnormalities are found using a number of tools with forensic capabilities such as SM20, ST03N, STAD (if you are fast enough), F190, etc, etc...
    Cheers,
    Julius

I have a query filter for UPC in Webi Report. The report is not working for one UPC (for other UPC's the report is working fine)...it gives error "failed to execute with the error Overflow converting from '6218090010'. (WIS 10901)". The same error is coming when I ran MDX in MDXTEST command in BW. When I take the UPC filter from the query filter the report runs fine and I see this UPC in the report. The data source is Bex and we have recently upgraded to SAP EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0.

    Hi,
Under normal circumstances it should be enough to restart the connection service.
As far as we know there is no formal solution to this problem from SAP yet but restarting the connection service is much less of an interuption compared to restarting the the SIA.
Re-starting the connection service should resolve this issue. since, Connection service is only related to DeskI and Rich Client re-statrng wonu2019t impact other business objects components including java report panel.

  • RFC Function Error: Cannot convert a value of 'MM/DD/YYYY' from type java.l

    hi experts,
iam calling an RFC using SAP_JCO_Function. one of the input parameters is date which shud be in the format 'MM/DD/YYYY' but when i create a transaction property of data type DATETIME the format changes to " 2007-06-21 14:31:50 ". to refrain form passing this value at run time i have defined the transaction property as string and defaulted the value to MM/DD/YYYY.
When i execute the RFC i get the error "Cannot convert a value of 'MM/DD/YYYY' from type java.l".
Issue is with time field as well. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Avinash

    Hi
You can use datefromxmlformat( datetime, toformat ) .
in toformat you give: "MM/dd/yyyy" and in datetime you pass your xml format date like: 2007-06-21 T14:31:50.
Try like this. Hope this may help you.
    Thanks
