Error restoring to iOS 6 Beta 1

Hey all, fairly new to these forums. I had an issue that I thought I could get some help with. I registered my UDID with Apple today and downloaded iOS 6 Beta 1. And yes, I updated my iTunes to 10.6.3 as well. So when I tried to Option+Click the Restore button, I selected the Beta .ipsw and began restoring. About halfway through the restore process, iTunes came back with an error: "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occured (14)". I've seen this error before with updating to 5.1.1, but to solve it previously, I just restored on a different computer. Unfortuantly, I tried the beta restore on 3 different macs and a PC, and still error 14 occured. Please help, I always enjoyed having iOS betas on my iPhone, and hope to use iOS 6 as well. Thanks!

Hold shift and click on check for update and locate ipsw. Clicking on the restore will just give an error.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I would strongly suggest returning the iPhone and getting your money back. But you can try putting the iPhone into Recovery Mode and then try the Restore again:

How to restore audio in iOS 8 (beta 5) after requesting mic access?

In a nutshell, requesting microphone input in iOS 8 will terminate all audio if it's done AFTER a sound has already been played, but not if it occurs before (sample code is in SO post).
Apps were tested using an iPad 3 the Flex 4.6.0 SDK with AIR 4.0, and with AIR 14.0 - the same behaviour was exhibited.
This poses serious problems for our apps, which are already released and being updated for iOS 8, so please let me know if this is a known issue, and if not, whether you're able to confirm from your side.

Yes, exactly the same flow on our side - interesting to know that it's FLV as well.
My problem remains, though: in iOS 8, if I play a sound (via MP3, SWF, etc) and then check the mic, all further sound in the application stops indefinitely until I close/reopen the app. Since we need to record audio at various times in the app, this will cause a major problem for our users!
I've added a bug in the hopes that someone can verify the problem: Bug#3801262 - Requesting microphone access in iOS 8 (beta 5) terminates all further audio

Error 3194 with iOS 7.0.4 restoring

Hello,
I want to restore my iPodTouch 5g with iOS 7.0.4.
He is already with iOS 7.0.4 but he's jailbroken. I wan't to remove the Jailbreak.
So I go in iTunes and make shift+select my ipsw (7.0.4) but after "preparing the ipodtouch" I see the error -> 3194.
Why ?? I just wan't to restore my iPodTouch with the same firmware ??!!??
I already tested modify the host file, TinyUmbrella, change computer and cable.

Related errors: 1, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1000, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

Obviously since you have iOS 7 you're a developer. As a developer, you signed a NDA with Apple not to discuss the iOS on a public forum. Please log in to the Developer Forum using your credentials and ask for help there, lest you risk having your credentials terminated.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Unless you are a developer you should never run iOS betas and even they are told to use it on a phone that is not mission critical, in otherwrds your every day phone. iOS betas are very unstable which is why there is that warning. Sadly there is nothing we can do for you here. If you are a developer talk in that fourm for help, also you would be covered by a NDA. The other option is to now wait till Autumn for its release...
