Error RSDMD 194 due to '#" after migration in BI 7

Hi Gurus,
we migrate our server BI in BI 7 and Unicode (from 3.5, non Unicode) and now on 0customer loading we have an error on a few lines RSDMD 194. it seems to be the character '#' is not accepted.
in RSKC we have the customizing ALL_CAPITAL. this load works in BW 3.5.
Do you have any idea for a global solution. because my last possibility is to create a routine to convert the '#' in '-' for example but i want ti understant why it works in 3.5 and not in BI7 with Unicode.
Thanks
CYril

since you have migrated from no-unicode system to unicode some characters may not be permitted. Check whether you have installed the required language packs to support the language you are using. Else you need to use FM or routine to remove the invalid characters.

  • Master data loading error: RSDMD 194

    Hi Experts,
    I working on BI7.0,
I have loaded 0Material data upto PSA from R/3 successfuly. When I try
to execute DTP from PSA to 0Material Master data it is giving following error,
but some records loaded successfully from PSA to Target.
    0MATERIAL : Data record 1 ('310957 '): Version '310957 ' is not valid     RSDMD     194
    Diagnosis
Data record 1 & with the key '310957 &' is invalid in value '310957 &'
         of the attribute/characteristic 0MATERIAL &.
    System Response
The system has recognized that the value mentioned above is invalid, and
has processed this general error message. A subsequent message may give
you more information on the error. This message refers to the same
value, even though it does not state this explicitly.
    Procedure
If this message appears during a data load, maintain the attribute in
the PSA maintenance screens. If this message appears in the master data
maintenance screens, leave the transaction and call it again. This
allows you to maintain your master data.
    Procedure for System Administration
    Kindly advise.
    Thanks in advance.
    Maruthi.

    Hi -
    I faced the same issue.
    Error : 'RSDMD 184'
It was delta load. Initial load went well, but delta failed. I ran the delta after some days after initial load.
The problem was with the source system data. Just check the source data once with R/3 people. Delete data from BW and replicate the data source and activate transfer structure and try loading again.

  • Multi Value error observed in one report after migration from BO 3.1 to BO 4.0

    Hi,
Can someone help me resolving the #multivalue error after migration of report from BO 3.1 to 4.0 environment
I have compared all the formulas and they are same in both the
I have observed, if I create a new  tab with the report, The multivalue error is not observed
Can somebody please help me regarding this issue
    Thanks
    Javeed

    Hi Javed,
MultiValue error appears if you have multiple result values for the same row values combination.
Try including an object from object panel which can differentiate the values for that row.
    For Example,
Lets say you have an item & you have a keyfigure Invoiced amount where it has 2 different values at schedule line level.
So the values in webi BOBJ depends your BW architecture like how the infoprovider is designed. If your infoprovider has the invoiced amount values based on item and schedule line level then if you dont add the schedule line in webi report, you ll get the "#MULTIVALUE" Error.
If you are using any Variables in the webi Report, try using
    =[keyfigure] in [Dimension]
    Hope this helps.

    Naveen

  • Strange errors regarding RPC and WMI after migrating Hyper-V from Windows Server 2008 R2 to Windows Server 2012 cluster...

    Hi all;
Suppose I have created a two-node Hyper-V cluster with a fibre channel shared storage in Windows Server 2012. Everything work fine except some issues. One of the is that when I want to configure the cluster to add a VM as its cluster resource, the following
    error message appears:
An error occurred while determining the state of this clustered role in the cluster. The remote procedure call failed with error 800706BE.
    Any ideas?

I have tested many possible solutions without any success. The actions that I have done so far are mentioned in the following and the results of them have been said, too.
When I restart the servers, everything are good but after some times when I reopen Failover Cluster Manager on one of the servers, the snap-in related to my cluster name does not load. Please look at the following figure:
And when I want to connect to my cluster name, the following error message appears:
Note: The above problem appears randomly regarding to servers. In the other hand, after the restart, one of the servers acts as the above statement.
The following error message is the result of the DTCPing utility:

I have read the KB197814 and did the steps in it, restarted both servers, but the problem did not resolved.
I have check both servers for RPC Service status and in both servers it has started.
The both servers are alive and can ping each other by their IP address and name.
The firewall of both servers is off and I stopped the Windows Firewall service COMPLETELY.
Any services and applications that are depending on RPC have problems. For example when I want o remotely manages the services on these servers by using Services.msc console, the following error message appears:
Error 1726: The remote procedure call failed.

Do you have the problem with all JSP pages, or only a few of them ?
Does it happen in the Embedded OC4J only ?
Could you try to deploy your application in the Standalone OC4J and test it from there ?
I had a similar issue where the Embedded OC4J was unnable to run big JSP pages.
There was no problem with the Standalone OC4J.
    Hope this helps,
    Didier.

After migrating all of my adobe software (Cs4, cs5, etc.) to my new imac, the software won't open due to many errors. Any help on this?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
Adobe software is conflictive when you use Migration Assistant because their applications don't work properly after migration. If you keep the DVDs or the installers of your software, use them to reinstall all your Adobe applications and they should start working correctly

but in the above patch instructions file - Post deployment instructions to create the Variable
    Post Install Instructions:
    - To revert to the 10g navigator behavior for handling conforming dimensions,
you must set the following session variable via an init block in the RPD:
    NO_FORCE_TO_DETAIL_BIN=1
The default value for the above variable is 0.
    - Restart all servers (Admin Server and all Managed Server(s))
but we didn’t find the process to create the specified variable and Initialization block in the RPD

  • The value returned from the load function is not of type numeric  errors after migration to Coldfusion 11

I am currently testing our website with CF11. It is currently working with CF8 however after migrating it to a new server running CF11 I have encountered the following error.
The value returned from the load function is not of type numeric.
    The error occurred in

Have there been any changes between CF8 and CF11 that could  cause this error?
    Does anyone have ideas?

after migration to a new macbook i cannot open photoshop. I get error message "you can't open this application "adobe photoshop cs" because powerpc applications are no longer supported"

You cannot run Photoshop CS on a new Intel-based Mac running OS X Mavericks. CS is far too old.
You'll have to buy Photoshop CS6 or Photoshop Elements 12. Or subscribe to CC.

  • Getting an error 'CalendarNotify' as null or undefined in the code at SP.UI.ApplicationPages.CalendarNotify line in SharePoint 2013 after migration

    Hello,
I am getting an error 'CalendarNotify' as null or undefined in the code at SP.UI.ApplicationPages.CalendarNotify in SharePoint 2013 after migration from SharePoint 2010.  The SharePoint calendar is customized to display the events with colors and other
    customizations.
It was developed in SharePoint 2010 using client side objects /jquery.  After migration to 2013 stopped working.
The code looks like in the following url...
    http://www.westpoint.edu/news/SiteAssets/ColorCoding.txt
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that the CalendarNotify is null after migrating to SharePoint 2013.
I suggest you can check if the sp.js has been loaded properly using Internet Explorer Developing Tools. We can use the following script to run function after the sp.js has been loaded.
    ExecuteOrDelayUntilScriptLoaded(somefunction(), "sp.js");
Here is a detailed article for your reference:

The jar used to deploy the same works fine with weblogic9 but gives the below error after migrating to Weblogic 10.3
The project also uses struts-Tiles configuartion. Is there any specific configuration to do after migration with respect to console extension?????

After more investigations I have more details:
    1. the error does not occur if the base table does not have rowSelection=”single”
    2. the error does not occur if the base table has rowSelection=”single” but the popup is raised with showPopupBehavior
    3. the error only occurs when the base table has rowSelection=”single” and we call the popup as inline popup (taskFlow with jsf page)
I could not reproduce the error on a newly created application in Jdevelope 11.1.2.1, it only happens to migrated applications.
We can not give up to rowSelection=”single” because of master-detail structures.
    Thank you,
    Monica

You have hit a bug, 3984527 - CLOB LARGER THAN 4000 INSERTED INTO VARCHAR2(4000) COLUMN IS.
You may want to check this metalink note: Note:388512.1 for further explanation and workarouds.
From the error message manual, Verbatim:
ORA-22835: Buffer too small for CLOB to CHAR or BLOB to RAW conversion (actual: string, maximum: string)
Cause: An attempt was made to convert CLOB to CHAR or BLOB to RAW, where the LOB size was bigger than the buffer limit for CHAR and RAW types. Note that widths are reported in characters if character length semantics are in effect for the column, otherwise widths are reported in bytes.
Action: Do one of the following:
    1. Make the LOB smaller before performing the conversion, for example, by using SUBSTR on CLOB
    2. Use DBMS_LOB.SUBSTR to convert CLOB to CHAR or BLOB to RAW.
