Error SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version SP12

Hi Experts,
I have a problem.
I tried install minisap more than 10 times every time, the same error.
Error code 601
I have a notebook with
WIN XP PRO SP2
Mem 512kb
Proc AMD Turion 64 1,7
HD 60 GB
I have more than 23 Gb free.
I install the Adapter Loopback.
The download ocurrs correct.
Every time I clean the register.
And the same problem.
I dont know what I do more..
Help me please.

You may want to go to Start > Run > "services.msc" [without the quotes]
In the Services there should be a service named SAPNSP_00. Make sure it is Started, and startup type automatic.
While there, start SAP DB WWW service during installation.
Also, please make sure that you clean the install completely: register cleanup tool, remove maxdb from add remove programs, delete the folder form the install shield directory. Also ensure that you have the Microsoft Loopback adapter installed and the hosts file setup correctly (10.10.0.10 <My_comp_name> [My_comp_name has to be alphanumeric and less than 13 chars])

Hello everybody
I try to install the SAPNW7.0 and in the first run I forgot to install the MS Loopback Adapter.
And now every installation retry fails.
I read a lot of threads, and every time I do the reinstallation, I clean the system (XP Prof SP2) from the already installed files, incl regclean, SAP directory from install shield and so on.
The error I get all time time now has something to do with the existing service "SAP DB WWW ".
I see it when run the services.msc, but I don't know how do delete it. Deactivation will work but it will run into the same error.
Maybe another issue:
I can ping 10.10.0.10 but not the entered hostname in file host
I would appreciate any help on this issue.

To delete the service please try the following command in the windows console:
sc delete <name of the service>
sc delete SAP DB WWW
The service has to be stopped and perhaps you have to restart your computer afterwards.
Maybe another issue:
I can ping 10.10.0.10 but not the entered hostname in file host
Please check the hosts-file under C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc again.
Perhaps post your added entry here so that we can check it.
While installing please also deactivate all installed antivirus- or/and firewall-programs on your computer which could perhaps block a connection.

I am using up to now Windows XP Home Edition. After some problems during installation I have read again the "recommendations" for using the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version SP12. Furthermore I searched here in SDN for solutions which might be available regarding the problem I have.
The important fact is that this software is released only for the following operating systems:
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 2) or Windows Server 2003.
(having a NTFS file structure etc.)
No other release is done (taking into account Windows Vista).
I have done an update to Microsoft Professional Edition but I have still some installation problems.

Up to now I have no idea why after installation of Windows XP Professional I have still the same problem.

But I have the feeling that my Windows XP Professional Installation was not correct (because there are some other problems around too)
So my recommendation to the description for downloading would be to highlight more this important recommendation of use of the ABAP trial version

For further versions which might be released in the future (hopefully) it would be nice if the support regarding Windows versions would be a little more broader (Windows XP Home etc.). But this is only a wish from my side.

I encountered the same Java problem, the problem occurs if your system contains JAVA components already installed. Try to remove them using add remove program from control panel and reinstall SAP.

Logon ID for New SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version SP12

I have installed SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial successfully in my NB, but i have no logon ID,does anybody know if there is public logon ID, appreciate. thanks in advance.
Btw, i also have tried to apply license via SAP official web site, but it asks me to provide
my hardware key, i don't know how to know my hareware key, so apply fail.

What do you mean with logon ID?
The users you can use are listed on the logon page together with their passwords. Once you are logged in, you can find out your hardware key by using transaction SLICENSE. I propose you read through the 'Getting Started" section in the HTML pages, included in the package. There are the basic steps described.

Installer error - SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial version

Hello,
I am trying to install the ABAP trial version on windows vista in my personal PC, however I have ended up with error "Installer unable to run in graphical mode. Try run the installer in -console or -silent flag".
Could some one help on this.
PS: I have installed network adpater as suggested in the blog before installation and added IP address with local host in the drivers as well.

SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version SP12 - Request Release Error

When i choose "release" in context menu to release the request ID: NSPK900001, the IDE show the following error:
"Cannot access file
[my computer name]\sapmnt\trans\tmp\NSPE900001.NSP"
How do i fix it?

New SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version SP12 - I can't start server

Hello,
I've just finished the installation without errors. After it I've tried to start server with help of Sap Console
I see process spalicence.exe in yellow color and after couple of time it disappears and I see process msg_server.exe in gray color.
What is wrong with installation?

Should be in the installation guide somewhere, in my system, the entries are like so.
In the hosts file,   C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

New SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version SP12 Uninstall missing

Hello,
As many others I've to try to reinstall but the uninstall programs are missing and so it will not let me reinstall. Just deleting the files is neither an option there seem allways to be some files 'in use'.
Does anybody has a tip?

Ok I've done that and was able to remove the files.
I then ran 'SAPStartServ pf=-u' and rebooted. Or I think it ran, it just didn't give me any messages back.
Checked the processes and indeed no SAP* processes running anymore.
Still getting the message from the setup wizard that it has detected an allready existing SAP system NSP on my host and that I have to uninstall that first.

NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version SP12 under Windows VISTA

Hi,
short question as I have to buy a new PC, is it possible to run New SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version SP12 under Windows VISTA and if yes, are there some installation instructions available? When does SAP plan to release an version which will officially support Windows VISTA.

I suggest you look at the log, the error you posted doesn't reveal much more than the fact a service didn't start which is needed by the installation process. Why it didn't start is not in this message.

Error installing SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version on Windows Vista

This is my second attempt to install. The first time the laptop froze during the MaxDB installation. I was not able to use uninstall.exe (did not exist), so I deleted the entire contents of the sapdb folder and also ran the registry clean tool, RegistryClean.cmd, before the second attempt. Thanks for your response to my question. I have successfully installed VirtualDisk, however I CANCELED the "Create New Virtual Disk" setup at step 8 of your instructions because it states that you must select a size of more than 50GB. After installing VirtualDisk I only have 38GB of free space on my hard drive. System requirements for SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version states 25GB temporary for installation - 12GB permanent. Your instructions specify that an additional 3.5GB are needed for setup files bringing the total space to 28.5GB. Why are more than 50GB required?
If more than 50GB are required, then what are my options? (I have already removed unneeded software, files, etc., so I can't get more space on my existing hard drive.)

Error after Install SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version

I am new on SAP and I am getting this error after install SAP Netweaver 7.01 ABAP Trial version in my notebook.
It is Windows Vista Basic, 3GB of RAM, 2.1 Core Duo 2.
Installed successfully, but when I go to "Start" in sevidor it returns the following error, and not start:
Error! Connection failed to node (local) for database NSP:
-24700,ERR_DBMSRV_NOSTART: Could not start DBM server.
-24832,ERR_SHMNOTAVAILABLE: Shared memory not available
-24827,ERR_SHMALLOCFAILED: ID C:\sapdb\data\wrk\NSP.dbm.shi, requested size 2560

->Please check/stop all database applications and tools, like DBMGUI and dbmcli ... Then check/kill all processes left with name dbmsrv.exe, if you will still have them. After that rename C:\sapdb\data\wrk\NSP.dbm.shi and C:\sapdb\data\wrk\NSP.dbm.shm, shared memory files, to C:\sapdb\data\wrk\NSP.dbm.shi.old and C:\sapdb\data\wrk\NSP.dbm.shm.old.
Try to connect to the database NSP & let us know the results.
-> Please update with output of the following commands:
dbmcli db_enum
dbmcli -d NSP -u <control>,<pwd> db_state

Yes, yesterday, I tried to install SAP with loopback adapter (Now, I am trying to install without loopback adapter because I have a DHCP server) -> the same error with or without loopback adapter
does your pc have internet connection available?
Yes, I have an internet connection available (I am in Hotel and there is Internet via DHCP server)
is the installation process completed?
Yes the installation process is completed and with success (but without C:\sapdb)
(Yesterday, when I had the first error and the installation process was not completed, I had the C:\sapdb.....strange)
how much time the installation taking.. usually the step of database installation and configuration takes a long time.

while logon to sap, what details are u giving.. the system number .. is it 00,
When I create the Item, I put the system number 00 but when I try to logon I have the error message that I posted in my previous message
which other SAP softwares are installed on ur pc.
In each time, when I tried to install SAP, I uninstalled all SAP software
