Error scr timecode cpp 995
I have pre 7 and all of the sudden it won't get media from my canon elura camcorder. i get the same error (scr timecode cpp 995).
I'm using firewire connection and have updated drivers on video card, quicktime, and tried everything that is listed on adobe troubleshooting.
I uninstall pre 7 and installed it several times. I downloaded pre9 and it got the same error.
I google and several people has this problem, but it seems it had to do with 2.0 usb.
I install pre7 on my other hd on this computer and everthing works ok.
I can use window movie maker and it works fine .

2 gb ram
298 hd
pentium 4- 3.0 gh
nvidia 6200

Update on my" src timecode cpp-995 problem".
I finally went into the registry and deleted all pre7 files and any file listed on" C" drive. still wouldn't work.
I deleted one program at a time from my computer and tried pre7 each time. still wouldn't work.
Since, i had already updated drivers for my video card, quicktime and tried all the other suggestion in the
adobe troubleshooting files and forums, I formated my HD and reinstalled pre7.
Pre7 works fine now.
I have learned that" SRC" is the same as" IMG". so, whenever i click on the camcorder image it got the error message
But, i still don't know if it was a windows or PRE7 problem.

I've been seeing this error around for a while with no solutions it seems, I'm hoping I just missed something obvious:
Whenever I try to capture footage in any project the capture window freezes and premiere says

then crashes. When I say try to capture I mean even opening the capture window causes this.
A Little while ago I captured an hdv project no problem. time passes, no changes to software or system, and I attempt to capture DV from my Gl2 through firewire by going to File>capture. the window begins to open but is blank and I get the above error and crash. This happens whether or not I have the camera on or off, or the cable not plugged in at all. I Can't even get to the point where it says It cant find the camera. This is happening no matter what format I create a new project in.
I've tried reinstalling, getting rid of background processes, turning capture device control on and off.
OnLocation's capture works just fine so luckily I can still work.
I'm running Windows 7 pro x64
intel i7 975, 4gb ram, nvidia gtx 280m
I know theres more info im supposed to provide. I found a list somewhere in the help and support area by mistake earlier and now I can't find it again, sorry.The Premiere Pro CS5 (5.0.3) update fixes some stability issues with capturing on Windows. Let us know how things work after you've installed the update.

Can't Open PrPro Project / Error in "Timecode.cpp-996"
Every time I try to open one of my Premiere Pro Pojects it gives me
I have no idea what this means... Cs5.5 almost always crash on me when I try to use it. Luckily it is smart enough to save my project for me. Any help would be appreciated.been having this error:

Apparently this is more common with Premiere elements but still no-one has a definitive answer.It is using a DCR-HC85E and XP Home.
The above error is encountered whenever the Capture facility is used (with camcorder on or off, many different tapes, 3 different cables). I am able to use a free application to capture the tape so the card is fine also. The system is used VERY regularly and has been working perfectly well upto 2 days ago when this happened. No new software has been installed (application or update).
I've supplied all the information I thought relevant but if needed I will supply additional. Please helpYour tape must have continuous timecode. If there are any timecode breaks, capture will fail.

Premier Elements 7....when I choose DV Camcorder I get this error src/timecode.cpp995. It is followed with this: Runtime error adobe premier element.exe. Folowed with this: the exception unknown software exception (0xc000000d) occured in the application at location 0x78138aa0.
I am using the trial program and have tried it on another machine which is almost a duplicate of the one where the error is occuring and the program works pretty well. Locks up the pc now and then, but at least it runs. Naturally I want to use the program on the one which has the error.
Any help will be appreciated.
ThanksI am having the same problem, but my computer is a Dell 8400 with 3 GB RAM, and oodles of hard drive space, running Windows XP SP-3 with all the latest updates installed. I have a Panasonic PV-GS500. It connects via USB 2.0 to my computer. I previously used PE 4 and then 6 and was able to capture video from the camcorder via USB. PE 7 runs fine, for all other purposes, but when I try to capture video from the camcorder, as soon as I click on the DV Camcorder icon, the frame of the capture window appears but before I immediately get the message: "Premiere Elements Debug Event -- Premiere Elements has encountered an error [..\..\Src\Timecode.cpp-995]." This is followed by an MS Visual C++ Runtime error, and Premiere Elements closes all windows and shuts down. I've tried following most of the suggested troubleshooting articles. I even uninstalled PE 7 and reinstalled it. Nothing has helped. I've had to resort to using the software that came with the Panasonic (MotionDV Studio) to capture my video, then import it into PE 7. That works, of course, but this is NOT how Premiere Elements is supposed to work and definitely not what I paid for. It's advertised as working with USB, but they seem to have second thoughts about that AFTER you buy it and are then told it works better with Firewire. Hmmm...I'm frustrated, as you can tell. Anyone out there have a clue?

It could be any of a number of things.
Are you capturing from a miniDV camcorder over a FireWire connection?
What are your system specs? What operating system are you running? Have you gone to Windows Update and manually downloaded even the non-critical updates? Have you got the latest version of Quicktime?
Which version of Premiere Elements are you using? If version 8, do you have the latest update, per the announcement at the top of this forum? -
Premiere Elements Timecode.cpp-1014 error when adding media
Software: Premiere elements 11
Camera: Sony DCR TRV22E
OS: Windows 7
When selecting add media I get: [..\..\Src\Timecode.cpp-1014] error multiple times, when the capture window eventually comes up it says the capture device is offline.
This happens not only when the camera is connected and powered but also when camera is not connected.
I have tried the different IEEE1394 drivers available in windows 7 and none of them work.

The connection to the camera through firewire is ok because I can download video from it using Nero Video Essentials, I just cannot do it through Premiere Elements 11.

Oops, I put the wrong error code in the title, it should be timecode.cpp-1014There is absolutely no reason you can't use this camcorder with Premiere Elements. It's a miniDV! There's clearly something going on with your computer that's unrelated to Premiere Elements.
For instance, this appears to be a European camcorder. Is your program installed for PAL rather than NTSC? It's an obvious question but one that needs to be asked.
Also, PLEASE try using the free program WinDV to capture your video over a FireWire connection. If it does,we know something is wrong with your Premiere Elements installation. If not, we know it's something more basic.
Nero, by the way, it notorious for not sharing certain hardware resources. I've never known it to block access to the FireWire -- but I suppose it's possible.
So, please, instead of just flipping off Premiere Elements, do a little basic troubleshooting. Problems with a FireWire/miniDV capture are virtually unheard of, and I'm really curious what's going on with your system! -

Help with the awful Timecode.cpp-1014 crash
Hello dear fellow Adobe users.
First the technical layout:
Hardware: iMac (Late 2012 - 27") 3,2 GHz Interl Core i5 - 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3.
Project HDD: LACIE 8TB Raid-disk connected with Thunderbolt.
Software: Running Premiere Pro CS6 (6.0.0 - Mighty Kilt) on OS X - 10.8.5 (12F45)
I've edited a documentary now for over 6 months on this machine, adding various media types but mainly sticking to my standard Quicktimne Prores LT and HQ. The sequence is a standard DSLR-preset (1080p - 25fps) but I've been adding media with mixed framerate and audio-specs. And this has worked like a charm for 30 versions (incremenally saved project files).
Suddenly today, this following message starts popping up:
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.

I gathered yesterdays project-file from an online backup system I'm running, but to my dismay - the same message appears shortly after I start editing again. I've even tried to open even older versions of the project, with the same error encountered.
So far, I've tried:
* Deleting the temp/cache files
* Reinnstalling Premiere Pro CS6
* Rebooting several times
* Unplugged all USB-peripherals (project disk excluded)
If anyone has anything that can guide me out of this nightmare - I would appreciate it tremendously.

Nothing worked. I tried everything under the sun and the program version seemed to fail with the project file - even old versions of the project! So I guess it had something to do with all the different media (formats, timecodes and filetypes). Still a horrible and quite serious error on Adobe and Premiere's part - not having the backbone to handle such a error when it occurs. For any reason, you should get really concrete reasons why a project fails and a solid way to fix it.
Here, it just said; "Timecode.cpp-1014". That is really a unprofessional way to behave, being a professional software.
After installing the CS6.0.5 update, the same error occured every time. But after installing CC and importing the project there, I'm happy to repport that I've not had one crash or error-message.
Maybe it was all a way to get me to buy the CC-version. Who knows. My iPhone always seem to get a faulty battery a couple of weeks after the new version arrives...
So conclusion: the project will open and work in CC, but continues to fail and crash in all versions of CS6 on multiple machines. -
Timecode.cpp-1014, premiere keeps crashing?

I am using Adobe Premiere Pro CS 6.01. I have been working on a project hassle-free for about 2 weeks now. The other day, after I have been working in Encore (I did NOT link the PPro Project, but rather I exported the video files first), suddenly my Premiere Pro project keeps crashing. Every time I open the project, as soon as all media has loaded, it has a Timecode.cpp-1014 error. Strangely, I am not capturing any footage (from what I have read about this error). Here is a screen shot of this error:
It always pops up twice like that. Then, once I click continue, it has this error:
and then Premiere Pro closes.
I also notice the red "x" in the bottom right corner of the screen, and before I close Premiere, I click it and it pops up saying, "An input violation has occurred!"
My sequence settings are: AVC-Intra 100 1080i 60Hz, 29.97 frames/second, 1920 x 1080 square pixels, upper fields first, 30fps drop-frame Timecode.
In my project, I have the above footage (AVCHD, from a Canon Vixia Hf G10), footage from my iPhone 4s, linked audio from Audition, and linked animations from After Effects.
My computer has the following specs:
Intel i7-2600 @ 3.40GHz
Windows 7 Home Premium
16BM Ram
3TB Hard drive space, on 2 hard drives'
ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series, 1024MB
750-watt power supply, Cooler Master GX750W
Any advice/help would be much appreciated!
ZackI'm working on a feature length doc (I have footage from over 100 shoot days), and I'm having similar problems that seem to center around a "master project" I'm importing projects into. I create a project for each shoot date where I will log/sync footage from that day, but then also sometimes I play around and edit footage together (into squences saved with that day's project). I'm creating the "master project" by importing the 100+ daily project files, so I can retain the keywords I've assigned and the bin structure. The goal is to be able to search through my footage in the master project by using (among other things) keywords and logging info, and begin editing my scenes together using footage from over the 100 days.
Unfortunately this master project crashes all the time... it's blatantly unuseable. I should note that some of the already-edited-scenes are were edited in Final Cut, and imported as squences (i.e. FCP XML).
Either Premiere can't handle all the linking that's going on, or it can't handle that amount of footage... either way I don't know what to do. -

Im designing a DVD teaching project within Encore DVD 2.0.0.48678 from the Creative Suite 2 Production Premium software system. The project is very large and complex. As of now there are only 2 separate timelines. 1st time line has 50 chapters. 2nd time line is not finished but currently has 15 chapters. Because its a teaching DVD, there are also chapter play list created for each individual chapter. I also have a countless number of menus and links to sub menus and additional video links from the chapter play list. All of my links are set and operational with all functions in the individual menus working properly. This is an ongoing project for 3 months now, with perfect results prior to today. I have used the "preview from here" function with no problems to test the links and verify the menu structures with flawless results for the past 3 months. Today I was giving a demo of my progress, when I selected the "preview from here" I received this new error message, "internal software error: .\PGCStreamInfo.cpp. line 1413". I have checked and rechecked links, buttons, playlists, chapters, end actions, timelines, basically everything I could imagine and have even tried a computer restore point from 5 days back, at this time still have not resolved this issue.

I made a Labview6.1 based application that handle serial communication with six RS-232 ports. The program is intended to run 24 hours a day. After around 2 days of execution an error occurs. Here the reference:

Be sure that all the threads you oppened are all closed.
For example if you put an "open VI reference" don't forget to put the "close reference" at the end of the task.

How to resolve Error #3: memory.cpp, line 563
I moved my application to a new computer with Windows XP and installed Labview 6.1 from the installation disc. When I run Labview 6.1, it allows me to open a project but, as soon as the project loads it shows the following error message (Error #3: memory.cpp, line 563). I deleted dir.mnu as suggested but the problem persists. The application runs fine on the old computer. I even uninstalled and re-installed Labview 6.1 on the new computer with the same result. What do I do now?
I'm sorry, I'm the one that was confused... You are having a FieldPoint problem, yes?
First make sure that the FP VIs are not stored as part of your appliction code. If it is, delete it. Next, if you don't already have them, install the latest version of the FP drivers. If you have only the latest version of teh drivers installed and you are still getting crashes, this sounds like an NI problem.
The sort of problem you are running into is but one of many reasons for not saving code from the vi.lib as part of your application code.
