Definately cannot transfer message to node SMTP due to connection error
    Message no. XS816
Diagnosis
Due to a technical fault, the system could not set up a connection to
the RFC destination Check port and mail server for SMTP nodes.
Therefore, the message could not be transferred to node SMTP.
System Response
The system was unable to transfer the message.
Additional information of the node used (in the system language of the

Procedure
Check the connection from R/3 to node SMTP. Perhaps the node is not

Otherwise use RFC destination management to check the RFC connection to
destination Check port and mail server for SMTP nodes.
If R/3 is in productive operation, it is advisable to reroute
provisionally to another node.
You should therefore notify your system administrator.

  • Error sending emails to Internet: Failed to connect. Winsock error code: 10051

Our exchange 2013 CU2 (CAS+MBX, Win2012) was sending emails to Internet using another server (a kerio email server) and outbound internet email was working as expected.
We have now removed the Kerio server, I also removed the kerio_Send_Connector I was using to send emails to internet and I also changed the email domain in Exchange to be authoritative. I created a new Internet send connector with default values, but the same
    bad behavior is present.
Our Exchange 2013 receives emails internally and externally with no problems. The problems are sending emails to Internet. I am suspecting something in the firewall but i need to do some more research.
If from the same Exchange server I telnet to an Internet email host:25 I do get the smtp banner but as soon as I start typing HELO/EHLO I get disconnected and errors are logged.
Errors when sending emails to any emails address (this is from an email sent to google, all others are the same):
Remote Server at aspmx3.googlemail.com (74.125.136.26) returned '400 4.4.7 Message delayed'
7/1/14 9:52:44 a. m. - Remote Server at aspmx3.googlemail.com (74.125.136.26) returned '441 4.4.1 Error encountered while communicating with primary target IP address: "Failed to connect. Winsock error code: 10051, Win32 error code: 10051." Attempted
failover to alternate host, but that did not succeed. Either there are no alternate hosts, or delivery failed to all alternate hosts. The last endpoint attempted was 74.125.136.26:25'
I cannot find any references from such Winsock error that are related to Exchange 2013.
So far all email is being queued at the Exchange Server 2013. I am afraid to install CU3 and make things worse.
    Thanks for your comments.

Just check if the receive connector settings are set to fine
check the send connector properties and see whether it is  set to use DNS to route emails through external DNS/Internal DNS or smart host .
Do a telnet to external domain like hotmail, yahoo and see  at what transaction you are getting an error
Enable verbose logging, restart the transport service and check if you get the same error in the verbose logs as well
Get in touch with the ISP and see if the port 25 for Outbound SMTP is  opened.
YOu can check if SMTP Proxy is enabled in the firewall. If so disable the SMTP proxy in the firewall and check.
    Good Luck!!

  • Random users getting errors sending emails with instant bounce backs

I have recently had a fair amount of my users have issues sending emails to internal or external email accounts.  When they hit send they get a NDR immediately with the Error 0x80004005-00000000-00000000.  It does not matter if there is 1 user
the message is being sent to or many users this is not discriminating in that respect.
I have found a couple of fixes that seem to solve the problem, some permanent and some it is only temporary.  If I repair the account in Outlook it fixes the problem, some I have to remove the account and add it back in while deleting the ost file.
Others I have to do the above and remove cached mode.
What is causing this issue?  I suspect that it was and update but I cannot be sure and it all started the same day this week.  We are using Outlook 2013 client and with Exchange 2010 servers.  I have checked the logs on the server and there
is nothing glaring.  I have done searches and the results do not give a cause, just the fixes which I have tried.  Has anyone seen this before and found the source of the problem?
    Eric

    Hi,
What does the NDR message say in detail?
If the body of the message contains the following text:
The message could not be sent. Try sending the message again later, or contact your network administrator.
    [0x80004005-00000000-00000000]
We can refer to this kb:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2383603
Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 introduce new named properties. When used, these may be added to the named properties table of the Exchange Server database. Each Exchange database's named properties table has a limit and a new message with additional
named properties has caused the quota to be exceeded.
A workaround on Outlook is to remove any additional mailboxes or shared mailboxes from Outlook.
For resolutions on Exchange, I suggest you read the Resolution section in the kb or contact the Exchange Server support:

  • Iphone  4s error sending email does not allow relaying

I am having problems sending emails on my new 4s iphone.  I have an account thru qwestoffice.net and Yahoo.  Both receive but will not send. Keep getting error message that says "recipient was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying".  This happens with both email addresses.  I have set the accounts up with the same settings as I previously had on my Iphone 3g

When you checked the information, did you check the outgoing server settings?
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

  • Need help: Error sending Email from 6270

When I try to send a Email message using the handset in-built mail client, the following error is reported on handset screen-
Stop "String index out of range: -2" with only possibility of "Dismiss" button.
I have done the personal config settings for a local SMTP and POP server that does not use SSL since 6270 does not support it. I am able to retrieve emails, use browser but sending mail fails with the error above.
Please help since Nokia-Care replies are not worth mentioning here. Their service centre in Bangalore-India is pushing the issue to operator. But operator (Airtel) is not to blame. Airtel is not blocking access to the servers (local as well GMAIL) since I am able to access (send and recieve) these servers from Outlook-PC that connects via the USB cable to this handset. Either settings are not correct or it is a bug in 6270.
If anyone has been able to use 6270 to send emails, please send me your settings minus your passwords ofcourse. It will help me try again if I missed something.
    Thanks in advance

  • SCOT: When email status error, send email to sender

    Hello everyone
I would like to know if it is possible to configure SCOT to send an email to the sender when an email ending as error.
    Here is the scenario.
    1. An email is sent through scot.
    2. SCOT process the email and comeback with an error. Example msg 841 (message too long)
    3. So, when the email status is an error, an email should be sent to the sender to advise him of the problem.
So, the sender will be able to act quickly and perform corrective action.
Any idea on how to configure this?
    Regards
    dstj

    Hello Volkoale
Sorry, it is in project plan at the moment. I didn't have time to do it.
    Here is some speudo code:
Select all record from SOST table where MSGTY = 'E'   " Message type Error
                                                                     and entry_date = sy-datlo
and entry_time is between now and 15 minutes ago.
select al record from SOOS where corresponding to SOST.
field SOOS-sndnam correspond to the sender of the message.
The table SOOD contain the title of the email (Field "OBJDES" )
When you have all those records.
you can send an email to the sender.
I hope that can help you.

  • Java.lang.NullPointerException: null  error sending email

I built a very simple process:
Here are settings for email startpoint:
    Email settings on server:
My local mail server is working fine.
When i send  an email to [email protected] i receive such answer:
LiveCycle ES has tried to process your request and encountered the following error:
    java.lang.NullPointerException: null
Procces recording is empty. It means that it doesnt even start, right?
    Any suggestions? What`s wrong?

From the existing process remove the "Route" from "Email startpoint" to "Send with Documents", so here it can be tested "Email startpoint" alone. To test this send an email to configured email inbox and check that is processed or not.
Create another new process and place only "Send with Documents" service.
From livecycle workbench can invoke the each process on its own, to test is these services are working properly.
Logs can be found in server, get the path(may be websphere/weblogic/jbos) details from your environment.

  • Output type RD00 Error sending email "External Send"

    Hello friends,
There is an output type RD00 for Invoice. It sends two outputs Print out and Mail. Print out work fine but Mail is running into errors.
actual error msgs are here below:
    1. Please enter the address number
    2. Communication type cannot be used
there is a zprogram configured against "External Send" in output type. I am trying to debug it but it doesn't stop the break point.
Need help in this regard and appreciated.
    Thank you

    HI,
After triggering the output, goto T.Code SOST and process it.
So that e-mail will be triggered immediately.
You can use External send/EDI/simple mail for this.
First of all the email service should be confirgued by basis team. Second you need to create Y3 partner to send electronic invoice. That can be created in customer master and also you have to specify email address in customer master. once this is done then set up output conditon record for RD00 to spit out electronic invoice in VV31.

  • Error sending emails: Windows Live Hotmail was not able to complete this request. Microsoft may contact you about any issues you report.

Every time i start writing a new email to send in Hotmail, i get an error message appear preventing me from continuing saying, 'Windows Live Hotmail was not able to complete this request. Microsoft may contact you about any issues you report.'
I don't get this problem with Windows Explorer?

If you have any form of Pop Up blocker, this can cause the error message.

  • Error sending email from iPhote

For some reason I am unable to email photos directly from iPhoto. When using email from the iPhoto Share button I get the error.
"Your email did not go through because the server did not reply.
Check your Internet connection. If the connection is working properly,
the email server may be down. Try sending your email again later."
Regular Mail works fine. I deleted and re-entered the email account in iPhoto. I know iPhoto is connecting to the net and iCloud just fine because Photostream is working fine.
    I'm using a MacBook Pro Lion v. 10.7.4 and iPhoto 11 9.2.3
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,

When emailing photos using iPhoto, you are not logging into the mail server to send your mail, you are logging into the iCloud server to send your mail (that's why you won't see a copy in the sent mailbox of your client).  You need to use your iCloud password, when selecting to email photos using iPhoto.  If you select email photos using Mail, then use the same email password you use with your mail client.
that is not corect - you are logging into the email server tha tyou specify in the preferences - it might be iCLoud - it might be a different service
The solution to the OP's issue is to have the correct information entered for their account  --  or to switch to using Mail as the email client

About ~20 hours later, this ended up solving itself. We can send email using the '.icloud' email from both the iPad and iPhone.  Advise would be 'wait' before you start seeking alteranatives like yahoo, hotmail, etc.  This definitely is a convenient way to keep all your 'cloud' information in a centralized place, including the common email...
