6120 won't send message - please help!
I've had my 6120 for about 3 months now. Been working fine for the whole time until today when i tried to send a message. Was stuck in my outbox for a while until is comes up with and error, something like:
'General Error: Memory Full; close applications and try again'
I've tried everything i can think of but nothing seems to be working to fix this problem. I can make calls and recieve message fine; but no sending message which is what i mainly use the phone for.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Would that include deleting old messages, clearing logs and removing large music files/images and all the things you have done in 3 months. I am not saying remove them all but a little housekeeping may release some memory. Worth a try perhaps.

Error 1607 Message - Please Help!!
Hi ive tried to install iTunes from the cd and downloading from Apple.com but each time i try to do this it comes up with the following error message:
'1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime'
I have seen that a few people have had the same problem and ive tried following others suggestions. Has anyone got any help or guidence they could give me??

This is a windows installshield error and this article will explain how to resolve it. After following the steps in this article do the following:
1. uninstall itunes and quicktime using the add/remove programs option in the control panel.
2. download itunes 6.0 and
quicktime STANDALONE installer.
Quicktime STANDALONE can be found at this website http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html).
iTunes can be found by clicking on the ipod/itunes tab at apple.com.
3. Make sure you click save and not run when the download windows open.
4. When they finish downloading install quicktime first and then itunes. -
Mail refuses to send messages--please help
Hello all,
I am running system 10.8.2 on a newish iMac. For the second or third time in recent months, Mail can't send any mail, although it can receive mail. The message I get when trying to send a message is:
"The STMP connection to server "mail.optonline.net" failed.
Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below [note--all optonline.net] or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent."
I had not changed anything about my accounts when this happened--no password change, no changes to my settings. I have restarted the computer to no avail. I know the SMTP settings are right, because I can send mail from my older MacBook Pro on the same home network. When this has happened before, it has resolved itself in a day or two. This time it has been four days and counting. I tried creating a new account, and that doesn't work either.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your help!The SMTP settings are pertinent to the individual computer that they are set on, not on the network. So you could have the SMTP settings correct on your older MacBook Pro, but they coud still have changed and be wrong on your iMac. I would double check them on your iMac. In Mail "Preferences click on the drop down arrow at the right end of the line "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):". Especially note the settings in the window resulting from clicking on "Edit the SMTP Server List", box shown below:

hi, I was trying to update my iPhone 3gS but when I turn it on again iTunes send me a message that says error 3194 occurs, please help me!!
If the screen shows a plug going to itunes, then you have no choice, It's in recovery mode. You'll be given the chance to restore from a backup either from itunes or icloud.
I assume when you got the message to update (was this for the ios or update some apps?), that was before the device when dead. At any rate, doing a restore does not change the ios. -
I recently upgraded my IPhone and for 1 person I began receiving this "7233375 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code". I receive text from this person but cannot send. Please help. Thank you.

I’d be happy to help with this messaging error! This will be due to the device storing the number incorrectly. Please do the following to resolve the issue:
Delete texts from both old number and new
Delete any call logs including these numbers
Delete old number from contacts
Delete new number from contacts
Restart device
Send text to the new number directly (do not save as contact)
Once the text sends successfully, you can then save as a new contact

"Error sending message" - I really need help
Hello. I have not been an iPhone user for too long, so thereas i do not know much about it. I do have an iPhone however, and everything worked just perfect up to 1 week ago. Here is what happened:
I tried to send a text message (SMS) to one of my friends, and first it said "error sending message" but then it was sent afterall, so i didnt bother. 1 day after, I could not send SMS to ANYONE else, not even an unknown number, nothing. it said "error sending message" EVERY time. What happened:
*tried to send SMS
*got the error
*lost ALL my signal
*NO SIGNAL message
*NO SIM message
*FULL signal back
*Carrier found again
The point is, that when i try sending a message, it comes up to 3/4 or so, and then shows the error and so on. it won't send ANY messages anymore
I CAN receive messages
I CAN make phone calls
I CAN send SMS from another phone
So my figure is, that the problem is the phone its self, not the SIM card. Is it making a contact??
I did a little research, and found out this:
*Many, many 1.1.2 iPhones have this issue.
*If you experience it, you may find a solution, but it's so that they do not all work on all phones (which is surprising to be honest)
*However, stunningly is that everybody are able to receive messages
What happens:
*in most cases, it happens like this:
-try to send a message
- it comes to 3/4, then stops and says "error sending message"
-phone looses signal
-phone tells you there is NO SIGNAL
-5sec later phone has FULL signal
-this is sometimes followed by a "Locked SIM" sign
what i have experienced now:
*i found out that sometimes, for some reason the message sending "comes back" tho it doesnt stay long.
*if you try to send a message, and it errors you, you hit home.. if you then go back to messages you can see the unsent one, but if you look at the number its in a format (ex): 1919<1919> or Rebecca<+2183481481>
and not 1919 only. I have seen this only in case its not send, otherwise it's 1919.
This is it. Please, I really don't know what to do, and I hope anyone of you guys that might know more about the iphone might help me. I have really tried everything!Please, can someone help me??

Protocol layer was unable to send a message - PLEASE HELP !!!!
I have the Z10 and I am unale to reply to, or forward any e-mails that I receive on my corporate e-mail address.
I can create and send new e-mails and I am receiving all my e-mails, but I can not forward or reply which is a basic requirement.
Every time I try I get a message advising that
"Protocol layer was unable to send a message"
Please HELP!!!!!

Whenever i try to sync my ipod a message keeps coming up saying "1 or more items could not be synced", apparently its error -69. Please help, i've tried rebooting my laptop, installing the latest itunes and turning off the wifi but nothing seems to work.

There is no transition choice for random transitions across the Premiere Elements 12 workspace Timeline. But, the Elements Organizer 12/Create Menu/Slideshow and its Slideshow Editor does have that random transition choice. So, one possibilitity would be to create your slideshow in Elements Organizer 12 Slideshow Editor and then move the slideshow into Premiere Elements with the Output of Edit with Premiere Elements Editor command.
Pending more details of the slideshow you are creating, I think that you would get your best photo quality and overall results staying with Premiere Elements 12 workspace (1080p) project and the transitions randomized manually.
perhaps applying the default to all (all at the same time),
using Timeline Menu/Apply Default Transition,
and then replacing transitions randomly for the random transition look).
Please let us know if any of that worked for you.

However, as I had tried what you suggested (and a lot more as I am 'reasonably' competent), and had been so doing since yesterday afternoon, I do believe that what you suggested was correct - that it was my third rate ISP that was at fault.
