Error: Service process cannot be confirmed due to its status

Hi Experts,
we want to create a Service Notification (BUS2000117) as a follow-up document of a service order (BUS2000116). The problem is that we receive the following error:
Service process cannot be confirmed due to its status
*Diagnosis*
You cannot enter a confirmation for the service process due to its status.
*System Response*
To enable you to enter a confirmation for a service process, it must be released and may not yet have the status Closed .
*Procedure*
Check the service process status and if necessary, change it.
How can i shut off the control of the status as we need to create service confirmation of service orders which are still in process. Is there any customizing?

To solve the problem without using the note it is possible to change customizing.
Customer Relationship Management -> Transactions -> Status Management -> Define Status Profile for User Status:
In Transaction Control is has to be assigned the Business Transaction 'To be distributed' to the relevant status.
Afterwards the service notification can be created without problems.

Job Determine Adjustment Modes cannot be modified due to its status

Hi Gurus.
After running program SAPRUPGM during SPAU adjustments, the green question marks are not replaced by either green, yellow or red traffic lights. When I check in SM37, the program has finished running. I tried to release the job but I get the message: Job Determine Adjustment Modes cannot be modified due to its status.
I must mention that our SAPRouter is down and we cannot reach Service Marketplace. Is this the problem?

Configuration of the ODBC services caused this error and was resolved by reversing the documented approach.
3.2.1.     Add DataStore entries to DataDirect odbc.ini

BlackBerry Z10 Error "The file cannot be played due to an unexpected error (10)"

Hope someone can help this one, I received a voice note through BlackBerry Messenger, after downloading I tried to play it and the following message popped up, "The file cannot be played due to an unexpected error (10)".
I received another file, 3GP format, tried to play it, same error pops up. I headed over to the music and video libraries, I could not see these 2 files. I connect my Z10 to the notebook and checked on my SD Card, I could see the files from were not named correctly e.g. VID 00001-20101226-1206 was named as VID 00001%20101226-1206 with the percentage symbol being the unusual thing I picked up. This was the case for both files.
I then modified/remaned the files replacing the % with a - (dash) symbol. The files were now visible and able to play through the Z10. I think there is a problem with the way BBM files are being saved especially the naming convention might be having an error/bug.
My OS release is 10.0.10.99, Version 10.0.10.738 with Build 455718. Is there a fix for this problem that is known? I checked but saw no posts where it was clearly addressed. Am I the only one experiencing this anomaly?
I have restarted the device but this does not resolve. I have attached a screenshot of the error sequence also showing how the file is named upon saving to my media library.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
To find the root cause of this issue regarding the media not saving the file properly, we will need to gather logs from the BlackBerry Z10.
I would highly suggest you contact your network service provider and ask to be transferred to BlackBerry so we can get a case number created so we can get the logs.

Get Error Message "itunes cannot run because some of its required files ...

complete message that i see in a pop-up window -- "itunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall itunes".
I check windows update. Microsoft says I'm up to date. When I reinstall ipod off the CD and/or itunes/quicktime from iTunesSetup.exe file version 7.0.2.16 it installs ok. If I choose unintall then reinstall or if I repair the itunes software the install program says everything is fine.
However when I connect to Ipod. The ipod window comes up in itunes and then shuts down real fast. Itunes continues to work but i can't see the ipod.
The showstopper happens when i shut down itunes after the attempt to connect the ipod. When I restart itunes i get the message -- "itunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall itunes".
Reinstall **** resumes.
What files are missing?
It would be nice if the interface offered more details. Or I could go online to a self diagnostic and repair web page like Microsoft offers.

Just uninstall and reinstall. If you get some kind of error in the uninstall process, then if it were me, I'd use windows system restore to restore your system right before the original install of iTunes. Even if you don't get the error when you uninstall, it sounds to me like it hasn't been installed properly. So if you decide to go with system restore and the same thing happens, I would download a fresh copy of iTunes installer from their website:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Make sure you download the one for Windows.

This is because that you are. Microsoft has nothing to do with iTunes updates.

Action to Convert Word doc to pdf, error: the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process

I am simply running an action that converts all Word 2010 docs within a directory into pdfs in another directory. The Word doc is closed.
This is performed within Adobe Pro X. The directory to look in has been set. The directory to save in has been set, and is different.
The error message pops up after I run the action. If I click the OK button, the 'save pdf file as' box pops up, with Adobe printer's default save directory
(not the same as the above two) selected.
If I click Save, accepting the meaningless file name (ADPD5A5.pdf in this case) the problem goes away. If I chose cancel, the problem also goes away.
I don't want to save this pdf as anything other than what is set up in the action. How do I stop this from happening?
I've unchecked 'prompt for Adobe pdf file name' within the Word Adobe preferences, but to no success.
I will ultimately be converting scores of docs into pdfs, and cannot have to interfere with each one.
This worked fine on my XP machine, but now in Windows 7 64 bit (new machine, new Adobe install) it is causing this problem.

A bit of a confusion on my part;
Now we have created these REPORTS using Basic Crystal Report 10.5, which comes bundled with Visual Studio 2008 and .Net Framework 3.0. Now on our machines, we have never experienced any issues.
Going by the above, you should have references to CR assemblies of version 10.5.3700 only. No other references.

Start with the basics. Force close mail and reset your iPad.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't help, you might want to consider resetting your router by unplugging it from power for about 30 seconds. That can help at times even if all of your other devices are connecting to the Internet. I suggest this, because the message that you are getting may be due to a bad connection to the Internet.

I keep receiving this error: "the application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem" when trying to update program that use adobe AIR (vudu-to-go)

Can anyone tell me how I can get around this error? I've tried reinstalling adobe air and reinstalling the programs but neither works.

This issue happens when an older version of Adobe Story is already installed on a system.
To resolve this issue you will have to first remove that version and then install the latest one.
Now depending upon which system you are using, below are the steps:
MAC:
Open 'Applications' folder in Finder.
Move 'Adobe Story' application to Trash and remove it from Trash too.
Just to make sure that this application is not installed on a different drive, do a search for 'Adobe Story' in spotlight. If it is present on a different location, then remove it from there too.
Now log into story.adobe.com and download the desktop application again and install it.
WINDOWS:
Open Controls Panel and uninstall Adobe Story application
Now log into story.adobe.com and download the desktop application again and install it

Error msg: iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing

I keep getting this msg despite reinstalling - this started happening after a Windows update. I've turned off my antivirus while installing each time.
Does anyone know what's wrong?

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

No Further Confirmation Expected- PO error in process

We are trying to close a PO. When we check' No Further Confirmation expected 'on SRM PO and after approval, PO errors out saying Error in process. I looked up RZ20, Its saying Please specify valid account assignment. Any inputs ??

I have correct information for Account assignment category. We actually implemented a Note regarding this error, and we dont get this error now. But this PO is from the last year and we want to close out PO's so that it would'nt show up in Open PO's for reporting. Does it help in deleting the line item in SRM PO while it closes out PO for any further confirmations on the backend

I went to Rz20 and got the Idoc.but when i tried to process it manually in WE19.it shows partner profile not maintained

if so you can easily finda problem.
hope it may be error in process state in confirmation.
if you recreate this it helps.

I have checked the Validity periods of conditions maintained in Scheduling agreement and it was within validity.
In Material master - Price Control - V (Moving average price/periodic unit price)

Per. unit price             1.58
Price unit             1
Please help me to resolve this issue.

Database msdb cannot be opened due to inaccessible files or insufficient memory or disk space - in recovery pending status

came in this fine monday morning and it looks like developers were running some kind of trace that filled the primary DATA folder with about 80,000 5mb trace files. now that process has stopped and the logfiles have been cleaned up, but when attempting to connect to the server using the management console i get the error:
Database 'msdb' cannot be opened due to inaccessible files or insufficient memory or disk space. See the SQL Server errorlog for details. (.Net SqlClient Data Provider)
when i check the status it is in recovery pending mode. i have a backup from yesterday but im not sure if this database became corrupt before that backup or not because this process was ongoing over the weekend. the last timestamp on the msdb and log files is 7am this morning..
I am not sure how to proceed recovering the msdb database with limiting interruption to the users. any advice is extremely appreciated. this is sql server 2008. i can login via sqlcmd and see it is in recovery pending status:

For someone experiencing a similar problem this answer is unacceptable. You're basically telling me to reboot the server to fix this. You vaguely mention using process explorer to find out who is using the file. Can you please provide
some more information on that? I have a similar problem and rebooting the server to fix it is not an option. This problem keeps reoccurring.
OS Error 32 means file has an open handle by someone else. If that is a user process then you can catch it via Process Explorer. If it's a kernel mode object then it's difficult to catch that and restart is the only choice.

Diagnosis
The values of the selected asset cannot be displayed. Text elements are missing in logon language EN.
System response
Processing is terminated.
Procedure
First, check if you are logged on in a language that is maintained for this system.
This error can also occur, if the company code of the selected asset is assigned to a chart of depreciation that is not fully maintained.
In many cases, the problem can be corrected by re-importing the missing texts from the reference chart of depreciation. You can do this using repair program RACORR14. Refer to SAP note 0773639 for more information.
