Error signing in to Adobe converter

I am signed into Adobe and then when I try to convert a document it keeps saying "error when signing in"  Does anyone know why I am getting this message??

HI,
I am moving your posting to Adobe CreatePDF forum from Acrobat.com forum.
Are you using Adobe Reader X or XI to convert your file to PDF or log into our Web site(https://createpdf.acrobat.com)?
If you are using Adobe Reader, it sounds you could sign in then you get the error once you try to convert your file to PDF.  If that is the case, please quit Reader and relaunch Reader then try again.
Please let me know your steps so that we can reproduce if you still have the same problem.
Thank you.
Hisami

When I sign in to the Convert PDF to Word feature, after I enter my password I get a message "An error occurred while signing in" and the feature locks up, giving the same message if I use the "convert" button, can anyone help with this.  Adobe Support sent 3 emails to reset my password all of which timed out before I could get to them. I have changed my password and it is still the same. Help please.

    Hello Kathie,
Sorry for the inconvenience that has caused to you.
Please let me know if you have tried converting any other PDF to word with Reader.
Alos, please sign up at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" using your Adobe ID credentials. Click on 'ExportPDF' tab and upload the PDF that you want to convert to Word.

    Hi David,
    Thank you for responding.
I exported each page of the brochure individually and that worked.  Unfortunately, some of the items appeared to be corrupt when opened in Word.
If you would like to have a look I could send the pdf.
    Regards,
    Miren

Having trouble opening a pdf with Adobe...keep seeing an error sign "acroExch"  does anyone have a way to fix this?

Hmm, "Use Adobe Reader" should launch the PDF outside of Firefox in the stand-alone Adobe Reader application, so seeing it in a tab is something of a puzzle.
Could you check your version of Adobe Reader? For Windows 7, you normally would have the Reader XI series (Reader 11), which has had several updates. From inside Adobe Reader, you can use Help > Check for Updates to make sure it's current.
In Firefox, could you check your Adobe Acrobat plugin version or possibly versions? You can view that on the Add-ons page. Either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. If you find multiple versions, this can cause problems and may need to be cleaned up manually (post back on that for suggestions).
Sometimes, the settings file which stores those download handler preferences becomes corrupted and there's not much else to do than to rename or remove that file and let Firefox rebuild it.
To do that, open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using either
    * "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
    * (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
    * type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
In the first table on the page, click the "Show Folder" button. This will launch a new window (Windows Explorer window) listing various settings files.
Leaving that window open, switch back to Firefox and Exit, either:
    * "3-bar" menu button > "power" button
    * (menu bar) File > Exit
Pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup, then rename '''mimeTypes.rdf''' to something like mimeTypes.old
Start Firefox back up again and "PDF Files" should be back to their default setting of "Preview in Firefox". Try changing that to "Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox)" and test to see whether there's any improvement.

    Hi Mike,
I've checked your account. I see that you just purchased the subscription this morning. The order is still pending processing, which is why you haven't yet been able to log in an use your subscription. It can take 24-48 hours for a subscription to process fully. Once it does, you'll be able to log in and convert files.
    I apologize for the inconvenience.
    Best,
    Sara

  • Error in Dreamweaver: Unknown Adobe color transform code 2

I am getting an error in Dreamweaver: Unknown Adobe color transform code 2. Can anyone tell me what is causing this and what to do?

Not encountered that problem before, but unusual messages after performing a particular action in Dreamweaver are normally the sign that you have a corrupt cache file. Instructions on how to remove the corrupt file are here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/494811.

    Hi,
Have you tried working through this document - it does apply to Elements as well.
Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CS5.5 and later
If you still have problems you may need to contact the Adobe activation team - see the "Still need help?" link at the end of the document.
    Good luck

  • I just signed up for Adobe Reader and want to create a document I can post  on my facebook page.  I do not see Acrobat on my microsoft word.  How do I do this?

I just signed up for Adobe Reader.  I wanted to be able to create a document and post it on my facebook page.  How do I do this?

    Hi terryjeanlaw,
Using Adobe Export PDF, you can export PDF files to Word document (.docx and .doc),  Excel document (.xlsx), Powerpoint document (.pptx), Rich Text Format document (.rtf) and Image (.jpg, .tiff, .png). In order to convert to PDF, you need to either purchase PDF Pack (Reliably Create PDFs, Convert PDFs, & Merge PDFs Online | Adobe PDF Pack) or Adobe Acrobat XI (PDF creator, create PDF | Adobe Acrobat XI).

  • "Installation is forbidden by system policy -  Error: 1625" when installing Adobe Products.

    Hi All,
We run Windows 7 Ent 64 bit OS in our company and recently we have started getting the following error "Installation is forbidden by system policy -  Error: 1625" when installing Adobe Products even though i am logged in as an Administrator.
We do not have any policies configured in our enviroment to restrict installations.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    May this will help you...
Error 1625: This installation is forbidden by system policy occurs when installing or updating TurboTax.
    Possible Causes
You're not logged in as an administrator.
Your Windows Installer system policy prevents you from installing digitally-signed software updates.
    Solutions
Log on to your computer with administrative rights, and then install (or update) TurboTax.
If that doesn't work, you will need to enable installation of digitally-signed software updates:
    Windows 7, 8 or Vista
Hold down the Windows key and press R to bring up the Run window.
On the Run window, type gpedit.msc, and then click OK.
On the Local Group Policy window, navigate to Local Computer Policy, then Computer Configuration, then Administrative Templates, then Windows Components, and then Windows Installer.
    Double-click Prohibit non-administrators from applying vendor-signed updates.
Click Disabled, and then click OK.
    Windows XP
Click Start on the Windows taskbar, and then click Run.
On the Run window, type gpedit.msc, and then click OK.
On the Group Policy window, navigate to Local Computer Policy, then Computer Configuration, then Administrative Templates, then Windows Components, and then Windows Installer.
Double-click Prohibit non-administrators from applying vendor signed updates.
Click Disabled, and then click OK.
