  • Error stag in BI7.0

    hi experts,
    how to enable error stag?
    if we find any error in error stag, what are the steps to load data to data target.
    your answer will be given points.
    regards
    Vijay

    HI,
    Error Stack
    Definition
    A request-based table (PSA table) into which erroneous data records from a data transfer process are written. The error stack is based on the data source, that is, records from the source are written to the error stack.
    Use
    At runtime, erroneous data records are written to an error stack if the error handling for the data transfer process is activated. You use the error stack to update the data to the target destination once the error is resolved.
    Integration
    In the monitor for the data transfer process, you can navigate to the PSA maintenance by choosing Error Stack in the toolbar, and display and edit erroneous records in the error stack.
    With an error DTP, you can update the data records to the target manually or by means of a process chain. Once the data records have been successfully updated, they are deleted from the error stack. If there are any erroneous data records, they are written to the error stack again in a new error DTP request.
    When a DTP request is deleted, the corresponding data records are also deleted from the error stack.

    Please let me know how to fix this.

    This problem connected with proxy-setings.
    As the first steps you should try:
           1.  export system env variable:
    http_proxy=http://www-proxy.ru.oracle.com:80
    https_proxy=https://www-proxy.ru.oracle.com:80
    no_proxy=127.0.0.1,localhost
    and you can also export
        export OS_TENANT_NAME=admin
        export OS_USERNAME=admin
        export OS_PASSWORD=root
        export OS_AUTH_URL=http://<conntroller_IP>:5000/v2.0/
    2. and than restart mysqld, if it is running, stop iptables and repeat installation process from beginning with the currently generated answer file
    if we are exporting variable OS_PASSWORD, its value should be the same as value for CONFIG_KEYSTONE_ADMIN_PW in the currently generated answer file.
    This OS_PASSWORD will be written by packstack in the /root/keystonerc_admin file and will be used as admin's password for login to  Openstack dashboard.

  • Printer is at error state W 8.0

    Oh my god, i recalled what happened, i was unable to post in the previous post so there was no follow up, made this one today and deleted the contents due to me thinking that the old one was still active. Well, again, the long story.
    some xp computers are installed to an hp laserjet 4100, the only that doesnt work is the one with w 8
    Had all kind of troubles since that pc arrived.
    ill try the short story. printer connected to xxx.xxx.xxx.200
    1.- driver from hp (self instaler) wont find a printer in the network. (latest drivers apparently) even if i point to ut. simply wont install.
    2.-cpl-->printers-->add network printer---> pl5/pl6/w update drivers (x64 in case you wonter) say that there is no communication with the printer. It wont install
    3.-connect to \\xxx.xxx.xxx.200\shared printer (previous driver update in sharing center to the x64 needed) No communication.
    4.-cpl-->printer-->add new LOCAL?!!! printer---> use protocol LPTx. After the wizard finished. CMD as Admin--> net use lptx: \\printerpath\printername /persistent:yes     --->Bingo, at least at the beggining.
    Then, few days later, when we tried to print an excel sheet, at least just part of it ("print selected area" in pre-print menu). It printed an error message (dont remember which, but the error was that i had to update drivers). Since i had the "latest drivers" installer would not install for same reason, but this is where it stopped printing due to the "printer is at error stage" it said.
    did not work until i deleted and re did step 4 (lpt2 this time, with net use/delete command before any changes)
    so i reinstalled the printer with the "updated driver" which was the same it had anyways, and surprisingly, it worked (for a week or less) then it came back to the same "printer@error@State"
    Could not reinstall the printer from here to date. Tried many combinations.
    Hp doctor said my printer was fine. (The other printer i have in that pc), the one i want was not detected.
    I did update windows/drivers (though still says win 8 instead of 8.1, but it says that there are no updates available.
    Have no more ideas about this. 3 things i cannot do. Roll back to a previous windows. Reinstall windows. change the printer.

  • Error when giving untill condition for System time and date

    Hi Experts,
    i am using Untill Loop in my workflow to set condition for System time and date.According to this condition when system date and time is greater than equal to some date and time then mail goes to an agent.But during testing , the workflow gets into error stage.
                 In workflow log i am getting error like
    'Maximum number of    10000 nodes reached' in executed action 'DEQUEUE_NEXT_NODE'  for false condition.
                        Please suggest what may be possible cause or solution for it?
               Points will be rewarded for any good solution.
    Thanks
    Snehasish Das

    Hi,
    You should not use loop for that kind of purpose. It sounds to me that your workflow is looping all  the time, and the maximum numer of nodes is reached soon, and the workflow goes into error.
    You should use the WF deadline functionality for your purpose. For example use in a relevant step the "latest end" tab, and define the deadline there. Then when your deadline is reached, the workflow will continue in a separate outcome, and there you can send your mail.

  • BDoc Error - Specify Contact Person - BP Relationship.

    Hi Experts,
    I am having a BDoc with an error msg of "Specify Contact Person". I have checked the extended data of BDoc; it refers to a two BPs id and a Contact Person relationship. I have checked for the relationship between them; it exists.
    I am trying to re-process the BDocs but still they remain in the same error stage.
    Kindly suggest.
    Thanks,
    Chaudh.

    Hi,
    I have gone through your query.
    I hope the error is "Specify the name of the Contact Person". If the direction of the replication is from CRM to ERP and you have not filled any of the name fields for contact person here in CRM, this error might occur. Because in ERP system the last name field is mandatory.
    So you need to fill the Name fields here and check the Bdoc monitor.

    Venkat

  • APEX - accepting OUT variable values from PL/SQL Stored Procedure

    I have created a page (Form) which is accepting values text fields.
    In the Page Processing section under Processing, I am passing the values to a PL/SQL Stored Procedure, which acts like an API. The procedure contains code to validate the entered data and finally insert the data into the base tables. The procedure also contains OUT variables in the parameter that would return status of processing and any error messages.
    Now, my question is, how can I make the page accept these OUT variables from the procedure. What I wish to do is, to capture these messages/processing status from the procedure in the page. For example, if there is a error in the data and the procedure is sending this message in the OUT variable, I need this to be displayed on the page as an error message.
    Is this possible in APEX?
    Regards,
    Santhosh Jose

    Hi VC,
    I just tried putting the string directly instead of the variable. Its still not giving me the expected results.
    HOWEVER, I think the reason was because of the EXCEPTION block in my code. I have an EXCEPTION block to handle exceptions. I commented the WHEN OTHERS section and now the error message is coming on the page.
    So what I have done now is as follows: At the point at which the error is expected, I am raising a handled exception. And within the exception handling, I am giving RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR.
    WHEN ex_main_error*
    THEN*
    p_status := 2;*
    p_msg := 'ERROR Stage: '||lc_err_stage||' ERROR Message: '||lc_err_msg;*
    RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR (-20001, p_msg);*
    This is working now! Which is very good news. Thanks once again for your help!

    Santhosh Jose

    aibun So... it just happened again. This time, I was just moving an image position. Apparently the heavy black shadow around the alert box means Edge Animate keeps generating alert boxes infinitely (screenshot below).
    It's really strange. My MacBook is brand new so I couldn't think of any internal causes.
    Thanks in advance,

  • Having trouble listening and writing to a socket

    I might as well just post my classes. What I really need is a comprehensive guide to reading and writing to a socket. The sockets aren't being printed, and I know it's because they hang on the "readline()" statements in the netcheck functions. Why do they hang?

    Oh yea, I just forgot to flush :)
    Everything's fine now - works great. BTW, do you guys
    reccomend keeping a socket, or just creating a new
    one every time you want to send information?Now why would you want to create a new Socket everytime.From the server once a Sockets bounds to the port you stick by it receive the desired clients.From the client side once a socket establishes a connection with the other host you can keep that socket alive till you carry out the task that you want to and then once you are through close the connection.

  • Change View State Based On Screen Orientation?

    I'd like my app to change layouts based on the current screen orientation.  I believe this is done through view states.  I have three questions...
    1) How do I check the current orientation?
    2) Is there an event listener that will tell me when the orientation changes?
    3) How do I toggle between view states?
    Thank in advance!
    UPDATE: I figured out the answer to question 3...
    currentState = 'yourStateName';
    UPDATE II: I figured out the answer to question 1 as well.  I simply used the Capabilities object to determine the screens current width & height, then compare the two.  All of this is in a function that gets called when the app launches:
    public function checkOrientation():void
         var screenWidth:Number = Capabilities.screenResolutionX;
         var screenHeight:Number = Capabilities.screenResolutionY;
         if (screenWidth > screenHeight) {currentState='yourStateName1';}
         else if (screenWidth < screenHeight) {currentState='yourStateName2';}
    Now all I have to do is figure out how to call this function when there is an orientation change.  I tried the code below but get the included error:
    stage.addEventListener(Event.RESIZE, checkOrientation); // ERROR: Access of undefined property stage
    Why can't access the "stage" property???

  • Who Wants to debug in Production?

    This issue is about my previous thread which has been resolved:
    "Missing segment in invoice idoc" https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/collaboration
    Can we debug this in production system?
    please vote to NO or YES then give your wildest comments...
    Thank you all

    Hi,
    Normally debugging in production is not advised/allowed because it will have an impact on the system performance. What we normally do is replicating the same issue in the staging/integration system. If it can be reproduced the staging system, we can debug in the staging system. There is no need to debug in production system. More than 80% scenarios, we should be able to replicate the issue in staging system since it is a production copy (Staging system should be refreshed by copying from Production system periodically, atleast once in a month). If it can not be replicated in the staging system, as a last resort we can debug in the production system , probably in the non-peak hours. Commit to database or document posting may not be an issue. We can stop proceeding the debug session by just quitting. Since IDOC is in error stage, it may not get posted. Even if it is posted, we can cancel the document.
    Normally for production debugging, special user id is issued by Basis/Security team.
    Regards
    Anil
