Error starting Enterprise Manager in WebLogic 10.3.2 - library conflict?
I've just installed WebLogic 11g (10.3.2) and the Application Developer Runtime (11.1.1.2.0). I then used the domain 'Configuration Wizard' to extend my domain (base_domain) and add:
- Oracle JRF - 11.1.1.0 \[oracle_common]
- Oracle Enterprise Manager - 11.1.1.0 \[oracle_common]
Now when I start the server, I get the following error in the log

I haven't installed any of my own applications at all, only extended the domain with the two features described above. Can anyone help?Just completely uninstalled everything and tried again. The problem seems to have disappeared.
I can't be sure, but suspect one of the following fixed it:
- I had JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 installed to the same Oracle Middleware home. This could have been where the conflicting library was coming from. Second time around I didn't install JDeveloper.
- When I reinstalled WebLogic, I unchecked 'Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse'
- When I reinstalled WebLogic, I didn't install the Oracle JRockit JDK -

what I did wrong? how to start WLS server?Hi,
First of all with EM 12.1.0.x any version you are not required to install wls separately, we have single installer for em and wls. Is there any specific reason you installer wls separately?
Coming back to your issue: can you check
%OMS_HOME%\BIN>emctl istart oms completes successfully.
%OMS_HOME%\BIN>emctl istop oms completes successfully.
Also open an SR with Oracle support and share the number. We should debug such issue through SR so that we can share logs and come find a root cause. -

3. Start the web page

Error Starting up Web Services
I am using FuegoBPM Studio 5.5. Every time I click "start server" button in the studio, I always get an error message "Error starting up Web Services in 'http://mycomputername:9000'. Details: Address already in use: JVM_Bind". I can still launch my work portal but I just don't like to see the error message. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?
Thanks.Port 9000 is used for process web service (listener port) by default. So if in your machine some other software is using that port, it will throw the message.
In studio this port is embedded. I am not sure if there is any way through the studio interface you can change it.
But if you have enterprise installation then you can change the port number by going to the Web Console/Process Administrator and looking for "Web Services Listener Port" in Engine's Services tab. -

2. Windows Server 2008 is not yet officially supported by CA Wily for the Enterprise Manager. If you want to install the Enterprise Manager anyway, set the "Windows 2003 compatibility mode" for the installer before launching it. To activate this mode, right click on the installer.exe file in the Windows Explorer, select tab "Compatibility", activate the check box for compatibility mode and select Windows 2003. If you do not set this, the installer will consider your OS as Unix and install shell scripts (no suffix) instead of batch files (.bat) and leave out some files for Windows Service registration.
If the windows service still fails to start please check if files ServiceWrapper.jar and ServiceWrapper.dll are present in folder lib. If not download them from attachment of this note.
The service should start although giving an error message regarding the ServiceWrapper.dll. You can ignore this error. -
Could Not start Enterprise Management Server Service
Hi,
I have installed Oracle 8i Personal Edition 8.1.6.00 on a Win2000
machine at home.
I can connect to the database that i have created (oracleDB)
When i try and run Enterprise Manager and connect to the
database, i get
the error
"ORA- 12541: TNS: no listener"
Im guessing this is because i do not have the
'OracleOraHome81ManagementServer' service running (???)
When i try and start it from the Services MMC, i recieve the
error
"Could not start the OracleOraHome81ManagementServer servic on
Local
Computer
Error 997: Overlapped I/O operation in progress"
Can anyone help me out with this?
All other Oracle related services run fine.
I have admin privelages for the PC.
Have PATH for oracle set up correctly i think.
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks
