I have a dc where i delete the old application , create a new one at its place.I set the properties of application as : authentication property to true.
The application builds and deploys fine...Since it is on track, creates an activity. But when i try to check in , i get error in activation view, while i check the CBS log, i find....'startup plug is missing'.
Any clues on this ??

  • StartUp Plug Missing

    Hello Experts
I am getting StartUp Plug Missing Error.
actually i add two window in one component and after deleting first one i am getting this error.
    Please Help Me.

    Hi Sunny,
The interface view of the component and its attached window should have a inbound plug of type startup.
The Web Dynpro application uses this plug to launch the window via interface view.
If this error comes it means
    1) The application is not pointing to a component without startup plug mentioned.
    OR
    2) The interface view and window doesn't have a plug of type startup.
For 2) -> Open the controller of interface view and check that there is a plug of type startup. If not create one by name Startup and type startup.
Check the same in window controller. Create a plug of same name "Startup" and type startup.
Go to the application controller and check that in target interface view and plug you have have mentioned this interface view and this "Startup plug".
For 1) Go to the application controller and check that in target interface view and plug you have have mentioned is of type startup (Check Interface to find which plug is of type startup). Check that you have plug of type startup in interface view and window and of same name.
    Hope it helps.

  • Startup plug is missing - Wht this means

When i was building dc i was getting startup plug missing error. Can i know about this

    Hi Sankar,
You will get that error when there is no startup plug in the Interface View. To resolve that error
    1. Open your Interface View(which will be under your   component->COmponent Interface->InterfaceViews)
    2. Go to plugs->Inbound Plugs->Click on New->Now give the name as "Default" and select the type as startup->click on Finish.
    3. Save All Metadata of your DC.
    4.Reload you DC.
    this resolves tour problem.
    Thanks n Regards,

  • Startup plug is missing

I developed a Webdynpro App. based on the Adaptive RFC method.  My original application had a single window with several views.  I had to delete my window and re-create it.  I then added my views back to the new window.  When I rebuild the project I get this error: "[APPNAME]:Startup plug is missing."
I have tried repairing and rebuilding, nothing works.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Kelly.
In the webdynpro explorer under the following path:
[your proyect] > [your principal component(*)] > Component Interface > Interface Views
Check that under Plugs tab of the interface view called [your window name]InterfaceView into Inbound Plugs area be the Default plug with the Startup property checked. If not exists this plug create it with the name Default and the startup property checked.
I hope that this helps u.
    Best Regards.

  • Startup Plug Error

    Hi All,
        I have 2 sample applications say Exportex1 and Exportex2.
When I deploy exportex1from one machine and check for output,  it is working fine as expected.  When I deploy exportex2  from another machine,  it is also working fine.
But Exportex1 is giving startup plug error when I log in into portals after the deployment of exportex2 application.
I find that Exportex2 is somehow overrides the Exportex1 application which means i can view only one application at a time in the portal.
    Error:
RunTime Exception or StartUp Plug not found exception.
What could be the reason for this?
    The application Name - Exportex1  ,  Exportex2
    Project Name - Exportex1   ,  Exportex2
component Controller - Exportex ,   Exportex
    Pls suggest.
    Regards,
    subashini.

    Hi Ayyapparaj,
They are pointing to their corresponding interface views.  But the component controller name is same for all the applications say Exportex1 and Exportex2.  Will it make any problem?
    Ex:
    Application Name:  Exportex1,   Exportex2
Component controller Name  :  Exportex,  Exportex

    Subashini.

    Suhas,
After you registered your application as a SSO partner application did you use the information from Oracle SSO (home URL, success URL, Logout URL, app_name etc) and loaded it into the APEX_SSO schema using the regapp.sql script from the ssosdk?

  • IR Report Search - ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00936: missing expression

    Hi All,
I had created a IR report based on a table and it was working with no issues.  But after few days, when I try searching using the IR search bar it shows "ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00936: missing expression" error message. I don't see any debug messages or errors in the debug window. The Finder drop down is empty too, there are no columns displayed to filter.
When I recreate the IR report(new page) based on the same table, It works fine and there are no issues with the search.  But the old IR report search doesnt work. I have not modified the any thing in the old report after initial creation. Report uses Primary key based on a sequence.
What might have caused this issue?
Is there a way to intercept the search query from IR report?
    Apex version - 4.2.3.00.08.
    Any help on this appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jagan

Hi MK, as I had mentioned in my post, I don't see any logs in the debug window, query tab.
Can you please guide me how to check the query logs on search?
    Thanks,

  • Impdp triggers always give error ORA-04071:missing BEFORE, AFTER or INSTEAD

    Hello,
I am using 11g impdp to create a test system.
I use this cmd to import
    impdp 'SYS/xxxxx@PWRFUN AS SYSDBA' dumpfile=PWRPROD.DMP logfile=PWRFUNimportPROD.log SCHEMAS=pwrplant TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION=REPLACE
Then I get this error for all the triggers
ORA-39083: Object type TRIGGER failed to create with error:

    Failing sql is:

    FOR EACH ROW
    BEGIN    :new.user_id := USER;    :new.time_stamp := SYSDATE; END;
As you can see, the trigger does contain the word "before".
When I remove " "PWRPLANT"."APPROVAL_STEPS_HISTORY" " and run the trigger below, it compiles correctly. Why is this, and how do I make my impdp to run correctly?
    CREATE TRIGGER PS_HISTORY

  • ERROR: ORACLE prepare error: ORA-00936: missing expression

    Hello,
I am required to run "pass-through" Oracle SQL, to extract data from tables into SAS for processing and manipulation. My code (attached) reads and writes (executes) but with zero records to test first. I cannot get past the Prepare Error.
The query is very much like other queries that seem to work, but I cannot get past this prepare error. I have no other access to individauls with adequate knowledge of PL SQL, and as a last stop hoped others in the forum could quickly spot the source of errror.
Thanks very much in advance for any assistance.

    Hello Again ,
Wish Oracle was a bit more informative. Am using a SAS Institute Product called Enterprise Guide. A "hot fix" was installed to address an issue that the product appears unable to save the latest version of edited code changes (hence " BETWEEN between" remaining even after a prior edit). In any case, with the change, am now receiving this error:
" ERROR: ORACLE prepare error: ORA-00904: "PHRMCY_CLM_FACT"."LAST_SRVC_DT": invalid identifier". (Log file appears below)
-The error remains, regardless of whether one uses "pass through" code to pass the date range to Oracle (which looks ok from the log output below I believe), or if I hard code the date range into the PL SQL query itself.
-The Prepare error always appears at end of the inner SELECT.
-The Prepare error remains, with or without the GROUP BY clause.
Is there anything else here I am missing? Someone suggested a reserve word - but from other ANSI SQL versions, I do not see that is the case. I have consulted SAS Tech Support and SAS List Serve at University of GA. but nothing definitive from these sources. Have requested facility to be able to run Oracle directly, outside this SAS Institute product - in process.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone very much.
    Jeff

I cannot install iTunes.  I get a Windows Error 126 and missing msvcr80.dll.  I've tried uninstalling and re-installing based on all the suggestions, but still have an issue.  I've removed all the services, tried moving the dll files as suggested, but I still have no success.  Spent all day on this issue.  I am running windows 7.

Sorry to hear this isn't going smoothly for you. Try  Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. You may have seen some of the suggestions here before but is has taken some users more than one attempt.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610 - Error Code: " 0xc19a0013" (missing or failed printhead)

I purchased the printer (HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-one printer) in January, 2015.  The printer functioned properly - copy, fax, and scan, until two days ago.  Now, it does not print at all.  Received an error code: "0xc19a0013" (Missing or Failed Printhead).  An expanded version of the error code reads:  "The Printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed.  Error Code: 0xc19a0013.   The printer uses a removable printhead, HP Ink Cartridges 950 (black) and  951(cmy).  I have used HP Support Troubleshooting recommendations: all software and firmware for this printer is installed; the HP ink cartridges are not low or empty; removed the ink cartridges from the printhead and reinstalled them.
There are multible steps in the troubleshooting recommendation, but I stopped at removing the printhead.  Because of my technical inexperience, and there were too many ceveats (beware, caution, proper reinstallation, and etc.)  with removing the printhead that could cause greater problems.  So, I stopped at removing and cleaning the printhead.  Also, used the HP Printer Scan Doctor for assistance. The tool for cleaning the printhead doesn't work.   What troubles me most with the 0xc19a0013 error code is its explanation: The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed.  I can use all the help I can get to understand what is going on with the error code that I have received, and how to resolve the malfunctioning printer.

  • After I downloaded Firefox 4 and I try to open Firefox, I get this error message, "plug-in object: TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined". I click "OK"; Firefox opens and works just fine. Any suggestions??

Not much to add. Before Firefox will open, I get this error message, "plug-in object: TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined". I click the "OK" button; Firefox opens and I have no further problems.
I use an Apple with OS v. 10.6.7 and had no problems until I downloaded Firefox 4.0

That indicates you have an add-on that is not compatible with Firefox 4. For details of how to troubleshoot that see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
