Error that password was entered wrong when trying to update or install apps
ever since updating my first generation ipod touch to 3.0, I have been having so many problems downloading app updates. I keep getting the message that I entered my iTunes password wrong and to enter it again. But i'm typing it correctly. When I sync to itunes, and try again, it works. But leave the wireless network and come back, the error happens again.
Anyone else having this problem?
I know exactly what you mean. I just got my iPod Touch on June 15th (last Monday), and just updated to the iPhone 3.0 software. Ever since this update, my AOL account (which I have been using for at least 5 years for my other iPod, which was the old 30GB video iPod) is not functioning correctly from my iPod Touch. It worked a few days ago, and I went to the lengths to BUY the update to 3.0, only to realize that it would just cause me more grief. If there would be a way to revert back to the old version, I would be grateful to find out. Even if I am out of $9.99, I'd rather have the old version back, or get Apple to get with the program, to at least notify everyone (in advance would be nice *HINT HINT*) that is using an AOL account that it can no longer be used, or even better, FIX THE PROBLEM!!! (You can tell I'm a bit angry, no?)

FYI: I'm going to be sending a message to Apple immediately following this post, so if I hear any helpful feedback from them (doubtful, but you never know), I'll post the results.

The phone will automatically re-appear when it connects to the Internet. However, don't get your hopes up, as thieves know this & will make sure your phone never re-connects so you can locate it.

keep getting a message that firefox is outdated but when trying to update the download is the same version on mac os. The version is 34.0.5 .As soon as I launch the brwswer i get the update message.
hello dbajayo, your useragent (the information the browser sends to websites to identify its version) - apparently mistakenly - shows you're on firefox version 3.6.
probably some sort of toolbar or adware has overwritten it. please refer to this article in order to reset the user-agent settings in firefox: [[Websites say that Firefox is outdated or incompatible even though it's the latest version]] -
iPod touch 4 gives message "Cannot Download" "there is not enough available storage to download...You can manage your storage in settings." when trying to update or install one of the apps, but not other apps. I have more space available than needed for the app. What do I need to do to fix this problem? Do I need to completely reset this device as new and, if so, how should I do that?
You need to delete some item (apps, music, photos etc) from the iPod,.However, sometime files get corrupt. To determine that connect the iPod to your computer and click on the iPod under Devices in iTunes. How much storage is used by the "other" category. If over 1 1/2 GB that indicates corrupted files.
To get the "other" down to normal value you need to restore your iPod usually restoring from backup works but sometimes restoring to factory settings.new iPod is required./ -

Hi, I get this unknown error message, twice when trying to update or purchase new apps. It was working fine, then just stopped. I changed my password, but that hasn't worked. Help!
Sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
1. Settings>Store>Apple ID.
2. Tap your ID and sign out.
3. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off.
4. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to download again. -
I've been trying to update my iTunes Apps, in iTunes, for over 24 hours, I get a message instead...
In other words, there are '155 Updates Available' for applications in my iTunes Library. I click on the "155 Updates Available" button and after a long pause, I get a message that says, "*We could not complete your iTunes Store request."*
*The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later*."
I believe I tried to update my apps about a month ago, but got the same results.
What to do?I've been having the same issue on multiple computers for awhile now. Have adjusted firewall and network settings but still not able to get to update screen for apps.

Hello! I have had no problems till now, and have been happily downloading and updating for 9 months. Yesterday I received an unknown error message when I tried to update an App on my IPad 2, and have since been unable to update or download. Have tried closing down and restarting, changing password, and usual things. Any good ideas? Does this happen often? Everything is working, I simply can't download from App store. Thank you for any helpful suggestions.

Wrong apple ID on the login window when trying to update a purchased app
I can't update my purchased app even the free app as well. When I tap on the update button, it shows the apple ID as "[email protected]" on the login box. But that one is not my apple Id. This happening the app I bought from AppStore. I have already reseted my password then I did sign out and sign in restarting my iPad. Please give a solution.

Have you tried siginng into your won account in Settings>Store - you can sign out of Mr. Jobs account there and sign in with your own. You can also do this in the featured tab of the App Store in the bottom left corner of the screen. -

I was wondering, does anyone have an idea on how to update my Macbook Pro 15" to Mountain Lion's 10.8.3 from Mountain Lion's 10.8.2 version? When I attempt to use the App Store, it will restart my computer but it will not install the update. The update also still shows up in the App Store as available and when going to "About my Mac," it still shows the current version being 10.8.2.

HT201398 iphone keeps asking for apple id over and over when trying to update or download apps
Each time I try to update or install new apps, I keep getting asked over and over for my Apple ID. I enter it correctly and then nothing happens.
Settings app > iTunes and App Stores > {appleID} > sign out, then sign back into your ID.
