Error : The iphone cannot be synced. The required file cant be found
I am getting this error when i try to sync my photo's from iphoto. Never had this issue but its not syncing any photo's any suggestions or cures?
Use iphone 3GS with MBP (late 2008)
Explore iphoto library (right click, "show package contents"). There is a folder called iPod Photo Cache. You need to delete the contents of that folder dragging them to the trash. Then sync your iphone again.

Help, cannot sync completely with my ipad, and i also cannot remove or delete shared photos which are clogging up my ipad 64GB memory! Some issue with this keeps croppin gup, so frustrating:

Not sure how we can correct his permissions problem, and whether authorising or deautorizing makes any difference, with more and more errors keep popping up, this got to be such after an update of the OS, can remember which!?

Launch iTunes
select iTunes Store from the menu on the left side.
sign in via the link on the top right area if you haven't done so already
click the link where you Apple ID email appears, enter your Apple ID password, click View Account, this will take you to a page displaying detailed information about your Apple ID account.
The last item under Apple ID summary should be Computer Authorisations, click Deauthorize All
now reauthorize any computers as needed when the system prompts you.

how do I find the file and replace it or install it?I'll reload it tonight when I get home...basically, I bought a new iPhone and downloaded some new medical apps. also had to download an update for iTunes into my mac laptop so I could access iCloud (which was NOT on my prior iTunes software)
When I synched my new iPhone with the newly downloaded iTunes, I registered my iphone and tried to "back it up" to iCloud and the message indicating that "the required file was not found or has a permissions error...." popped up.

The ipod "ipod touch" cannot be synched the required file is not found
When i try to sync my ipod touch it goes through the motions but when it tries to sync photo's i get the message about saying that the ipod can't be synched as the required file is not found. Earlier today a driver was automatically put on my windows 7 based laptop and it seemed to be from apple and was downloaded just as i plugged in my ipod touch ...... can anyone help please ?
I have an iphone and ipad2 and have synched them both today without any problems .Deleting the iPod Photo Cache folder usually resolves the problem ofr its location see:

You may have more than one folder and you need to delete all of them. -
My iphone after the update to IOS 5 (which i had problems updating first anyway) wont even register with itunes saying its still half way through a restore when its not i have already restored it 4 times but still wont sync music or apps or finish restoring my phone because it always comes up device is not connected or the required file is not found?
Any ideas?? ive gone the 02 shop and they just said to keep trying to restore it but its really not solving anything.Unfortunately yes, though technology would never move on if it kept to older standards and did not strive to do more.
The app store always gives you the option to use a previous version of the app IF it is available for your device.

SSL ERROR : The required certificate was not found
I am using Adobe Javascript this.submitForm to submit FDF. This works fine in Windows. When the same pdf is opened in a Linux environment I get the following error:
SSL ERROR : The required certificate was not found
and am required to run acroread -installCertificate.
This I do and it succeeds but the SSL error persists.
The this.submitForm command is given below:

The behavior you have noticed with the newly installed certificate files in
[home-folder]/.adobe/Acrobat/[version]/Cert folder
and the
[install-folder]/Adobe/Reader8/Reader/Cert/curl-ca-bundle.crt file is correct. Further, the behavior has not changed between Reader versions 8.x and 9.x
It is possible that the problem may be of the installed certificate not linking up to one of the Root CA-s. An Intermedia-CA certificate may be needed to be installed.
Could you mail me at " sanath at adobe dot com ", if possible, with more information about the problem (the PDF, the certificate in question - the file named like 123456.0 ), so that we at Adobe can work on resolving your problem

IPod cannot be synced. Required file not found?
I havent had any trouble syncing my ipod until last week when i purchased a song. When i dragged the song to a playlist on my ipod, it appeared grey in my playlist (because it was still loading) and then disappeared. I repeated this until i gave up and I reported this as an issue to itunes. When i tried again it worked and i thought maybe the problem had fixed itself, but i tried to add a CD to my ipod a few days ago and it only synced half of the songs. Now when i try to sync the leftover songs an error box pops up saying "The iPod (name of ipod) cannot be synced. Required file not found."
Some songs will sync perfectly normal, some load but disappear, some eventually just sync, and some won't sync at all. Has anyone had this problem/ can anyone help SOLVE it? please and thank you!!!Try this:
Let your iPod charge up.
Attempt to sync a large play list.
When the iPod shuts down and you get the error message, quickly click through the dialog boxes on iTunes so when the iPod comes back up iTunes will attempt to sync again.
When the sync starts again after the iPod reboot, click the little X in the bar that shows how many tracks have been loaded. This will stop the sync and you'll be able to eject your iPod.
After it's been ejected, unplug the connector from the iPod and see what happens to the battery indicator. Mine goes down to almost gone and red - then after a few minutes it comes up to about 2/3 strength - but it should be full after being fully charged and just syncing a few hundred tracks. -
When i try to play music on itunes it says the original file cant be found. I have music on exyernal dive and it is working . How can i correct this?
See if you have most of the songs with 'Exclamation' symbol precede the name under your music library.
If so, double click a song with ! mark on side, you will be given an option to locate the file where the song is held. Select "locate" and direct it to your External Drive folder / file where the song is and open it.
iTunes then will give you the option to use this process to update all of your library. OK that as this will fix all automatically instead of doing them one by one. -
