    Hi,
You can check the similar settings in the Demo database and if the issue is not reproduced, it can be a database corruption.
Probably, you need to log a support Ticket to SAP in order to get your issue investigated.

  • Admin tool error: Physical database already exists

    Hello Gurus,
I am using OBIEE 11.1.1.3 and trying to import a new Essbase ASO cube into my RPD using the Admin Tool. I am getting the error message "Physical database already exists, but it is not of the same provider type". The cube is new and not in my rpd yet so why is it saying it exists? Is there a way to search for it in case it is in there?
Thanks very much for your help.

You can search for the Tables, Cubes, Databases etc that are already in the repository. Just click on tools in the admin tool and select query repository. Here you can select from the drop down list what you are looking for and leave the name as * if you want to search for everything.
    Hope this helps.

  • Error: This entry already exists in the Financial Report Table OFRT..

    Hi ,
The above error appears only when we try to create any kind of templates in the database.
Last time this error appeared when trying to create Profit and Loss Statement using Financial Report Templates.
As a result i had to use copy express to copy over the template from one database to another.
    This solved the issue.
But now on trying to create a cost center hierarchy, (template to design profit center) we face the same error as mentioned in the subject line.
    What could be the reason?
I tried to create a new financial report template as well, it prompts for the same error.
    Kindly revert with your comments.
    Regards.

    Hi Gordon,

    Hi,
    Vitor Vieira,
Thank you that your answer helped me solving my problem to some extent.
I solved the problem by creating document and document lines table and creating a UDO with it. Because the problem was with assigning some data to the u201CCodeu201D field when using master type tables.
I didnu2019t get any problem after using the document and document lines table.
Also, initially I didnu2019t bind the # column of my matrix with the LineID field of table. After doing that it is working fine and I am able to update the records.
But still this is not a proper solution and I didnu2019t get answer for why master type UDO doesnu2019t support updating.

Any idea what should I do ?
I  try the restore function, run a RSP task, comment the code in the Transaction Notification and the problem continue and I need to create new Busines Partner Master Data in the database.
    Any comment will be useful.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Gabriela.

    Hi,
If you are trying to create a Business Partner code where the code is same as another added in the database already as a G\L Account, then the error also occurs.
If the issue is not fixed by running the task, it is a database corruption for which further investigation from support is necessary.
Please log a support ticket to get the issue investigated.

  • This Entry Already exists in table (Message: 131-183)

    Hia All,
I have a very serious problem that's I have been unable to solve on my own.
I have a User defined form that is linked to a User defined Object. The Object consists of a Master data and a Master Data Lines table.
I am able to add a record without any problem, but I attempt to update an existing record I get the following error: "This entry already exists in the following tables..."
Strangely, this only happens when I add iditional records to the Lines table, and not when existing data is altered.
    Please help me.

Hi Ben, yes I was able to solve the problem.
It seems that when you add additional rows to your lines table, you have to manually add the records to the DBDatasource on the before action. i.e. Catch the Item Pressed before action on item 1 (OK button), and manually insert the additional lines into the DBDatasource as displayed below.
    e.g.
    i = oForm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item(1).Size
    oForm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item(1).InsertRecord(i)
    oForm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item(1).Offset = oForm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item(1).Size - 1
    oForm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item(1).SetValue("U_ItemCode", i, Code)
This code will typically reside insode a loop seeing as you will loop through your matrix/grid rows and add the additional lines.
This sorted out the problem for me, I hope it hepls you.

  • UDT - This Entry already exists

    Hi,
When trying to add a new record in a UDT, the system shows the error "This entry already exists in the following table..."
We tried deleting the last record and then add it again...and it did'nt work, now we are missing more records to add.
The key values (code and name) started in 00, we were trying to add the 60th.
    We use SB1 8.82 PL 10
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply,
According to the thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/1849194 not only the Code and Name are key values in an UDT.
Our UDT has repeated values in every column but Code and Name, and it wasn't an issue before. How may I know what other Column could I assume as a Key Value? Here is the image of its customization:
    Please advice.
    Regards.

  • This entry already exists in the following tables 'Journal Entry' (OJDT)

    Forum,
I'm 8.81 PL09. Yesterday we performed a stock count then updated quantities and then reconciled the stock posting. This correctly posted a journal to the relevant stock gain/loss account.
Today we found that there had been a couple of mistakes in terms of the counted quantity so we again went into Stock Taking, amended the quantities then went into stock posting. We confirm the quantities need updating but upon trying to 'Reconcile' we get the following error:
This entry already exists in the following tables 'Journal Entry' (OJDT) (ODBC-2035) [Message 131-183]
I have tried to perform a restore item balances to no avail.
Could anyone shed any light on this?
    Regards,
    Juan

    Hi,
I'm facing the same problem. It seems like the number series got stuck. I also reconsiled the first load, and then for the next one I'm facing the same problem as you have. I can see the first journal entry having the correct docnum according to the number series setup. But in the number series setup, the "Next no." still have the same number as the first journal entry. I have no idea how to fix it, but to make it work for now I guess you could go and change the default number series for Journal Entries and finish rout inventory posting.
Let me know if there is any fix on this one.

  • Can't reinstall itunes on windows 7 comp. Get error message "object already exists"

Difficulty reinstalling itunes on Windows7 machine. Despite uninstalling everything apple, I constantly get error message: "object already exists" and the install fails. I have gone through hard drive but can't find anything itunes or apple. Uninstalled everything apple in control panel. What am I missing?

Try opening Control Panel > Programs and Features > View installed updates then checking for the Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2918614). , Uninstall if you have it, then reboot.
There is a strong hint here that it should resolve this issue, although personally I have that update installed and have been able to remove and reinstall iTunes without any problem.
Click for more on KB2918614 which is an update to the Windows Installer Service released July 12th 2014. The timing and nature of the update suggest a connection with the "Object already exists" issue which affects other installations as well as iTunes.

  • Utl_file.open_file question to check if a file exists and is not empty

    Hello,
I am trying to write a code where in 3 seperate files are created based on some parameter condition for the extract call.
Say the parameters are NULL, 'A' and 'B'.
When Null condition is passed to the extract call then it should create file A and B if records are found. If not it should create empty files.
It is possible that the parameter to the extract is just 'A' then it would create A with say non zero file and B with zero file.
Now when the extract is called with 'B' parameter and if the file A already exists and is not empty then I should not touch/overwrite it with empty records.
Is there any simple way that I can do this to check if a file exists and is non empty?
    I am using
    open_file
    ( gv_utl_file_path
    ,lv_file_name
    ,lv_file_handle
    Please help.

If your program is Photoshop Elements 12, then you have posted in the wrong forum. Your thread is now in the Adobe Premiere Elements Forum (video editing).
Please re-post your question in the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum or wait for a moderator here to see your thread here and move it from here to there.

While you are making your move, consider
    a. what computer operating system is involved...if we assume Windows
    b. have you checked Control Panel/Programs to assure that the program is no longer listed as an installed program?
If it is no longer installed, you might want to consider a free ccleaner run through (regular cleaner and registry cleaner parts) to get
rid of any leftovers from incomplete installs and uninstalls. Then reinstall with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.
