Error Trying to Repaur Default Certificates

Hi,
I am trying to repair the default certificates on a OES11 Sp2 server and get the following message:
Create SSL CertificateIP
Expiration date: Tue Jun 23 18:49:54 BST 2015
10.0.0.240 Exception occured processing WizardPage_CreateCert_Address.jsp
Anyone got any ideas.
There is also an issue with the same server in secret store where the server shows no LDAP address whereas other servers do.
Apart from this, everything else seems to work.
Regards
ChasR.

I've seen something similar (but don't have the exact error) which in my case I could work around by first manually deleting the certificates and then recreating them by running the "repair default servers certificates" option.
Seeing you server certificate has not expired yet (right?), you could try renaming the current certificate (instead of deleting it) and then run though the repair default server certificates procedure again to see if it completes successfully.
Cheers,
Willem

    I am migrating from Lync Server 2010 to 2013. When deploying the 2013 server, it fails when assigning the OAuthTokenIssuer certificate. With the KeyException error below.
    I've tried "re-keying" the cert and confirmed that the key is exportable. Does anyone have any insight on how to resolve this?

    Please try to assign the certificate with Lync Server Management Shell.
    Run the following command:
    Set-CSCertificate -Identity Global -Type OAuthTokenIssuer –Thumbprint <string>.
    Check if you can assign default certificate to Lync Front End Server.
    Check the Root Certificate Authority certificate is not expired.

  • Default certificates missing

    I am using Nokia 5300 Xpress music. I have recently formatted my firmware v5.51 due to frequent hanging of mobile though i tried to upgrade /reinstall the firmware.
    Now the mobile is working fine. But when i tried installing using Opera mini browser i got No certificate in Phone/sim error.
    Then i realised that all the default themes, ringtones, certificates comes with the mobile which stores in phone memory was got erased due to format.
    Please let me know what are all the default certificates that comes along with the phone and where can i get it to download and install ?
    Also, when i try connecting my mobile with Nokia PC Suite, it is detecting the phone and showing the phone selected is Nokia 5300. But it is not showing anything in nokia suite (contacts, messages, files etc.,) even i cant able to send messages using PC Suite.
    Please advise. I tried reinstalling the firmware 5.51, but no use.

    Hi!
    Do you have a time machine backup? What you can try to do is a full restore on a testmachine or a VM and export the old keychain and import it into your broken server:
    Passwords:
    http://www.icreatemagazine.com/tips/os-x-tutorial-how-to-transfer-keychain-data- between-macs/
    Certs:

    Good luck!

  • FPN - error trying to lookup object - remote role assignment not working

    Hello everyone,
    We have implemented a Federated Portal Network connection in our landscape between our portals.
    We use only remote role assignment functionality.
    Everything was working fine, but since 2 days we encounter the following error in the Default trace.
    Error trying to lookup object: alias: <role name>
    It is possible to open the producer portal in the Portal Content Administration and also searching for the Producer portal roles is possible in User administration. But when we assign the remote role the tab is not displayed in the portal only the above mentioned error is shown in the default trace. Our portals run SP 12 and BI Java SP14.
    Is there a solution or workaround for this issue ?
    Martin

    Hi,
    I have the same issue as you, I cannot see role tabs in Consumer portal and I get the same error in the defaulttrace as you.
    What did you do to resolve this issue?
    Many thanks

  • Error trying to display a report file in FDM event script

    Hi
    I am trying to display a file (report) during an event script and receive an error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" . The process works in version 9.3 but is generating this error during our upgrade testing on 11.1.2.2 (different hardware)
    The file (check report) is getting written correctly the \OutBox\Log directory. The file contains a standard Check Report with a file extension .pdf ( lngFileType = 31)
    We have no issues creating the file
    We try to display the file on the screen for the user using the following code which fails with the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error and also a message "Could not load XML file:" with the file name and path
    'Open report file in web client
    RES.PlngActionType = 4
    RES.PstrActionValue = strFileName
    Symptoms:
    We can open the same file as text with RES.PlngActionType = 1
    Everyone has rights to open/read a file in the directory
    File can be opened manually and appears correct
    Any help would be appreciated. I have not found similar issues on the forum. Support has offered no suggestions to date

    Hi and thanks for your response.
    Yes, we have tried all the various type of files ( ScriptActionTypes). The Type = 1 will open the file, but as a text stream without formatting, etc. If we try type = 3 we receive a different error message:
    Error: Invalid Report ID: 0
    Detail: Stacktrace:
    upsAppServerDM._clsAppServerDM.fPublishReport(lngReportID[Int32], lngPubFileType[Int32], strReportSQL[String], strSubReportSQL[String])
    Hyperion.FDM.Pages.ViewReportActionEvent.ExecuteReport(reportID[Int32], sqlStatement[String])
    Hyperion.FDM.Pages.ViewReportActionEvent.PreviewReport()
    Also, the Validation Report is enabled (we are using check with warnings - ID133), I have tried changing the default Web Settings from .PDF to .html and back again and tried the various other default options available under Web Settings.
    If we create a simple test text file, we can open the file as text (Type = 1)
    Here is the complete error message employing Type = 4 (XML)
    Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

    Hi,
    I am trying to run Sun Java Studio and entered the Tutorial "Developing a Web Application". I have tried to do this twice. steps
    1. drage test field and name it
    2, drag a label and name it
    3. drage abutton and name it
    4. Drage static text and name it
    5. Double click button and enter "helloText.setText("Hello, "+name+"!");
    6. try to build and run
    These two error appear
    <ant antfile="project-data/build-impl.xml" target="compile"/>
    <javac srcdir="${source.java.root}" source="1.4" target="1.4" encoding="${source.encoding}" destdir="${output.classes.dir}" debug="on">
    Any help would be appreciated
    Jim

    Hi,
    I could not reproduce your problem.The tutorial "Developing a Web Application" works fine for me.
    Please post the server log file which is available at : <install-dir>:\Sun\Creator2\SunAppServer8\domains\creator\logs\server .log
    Thanks,

  • Error:configuration with name 'default' not found.

    Hi all. I am fairly new to android programming. I am trying to use the CreativeSDK, specifically the image editing portion. I have been trying to follow the steps at the following link: Adobe Creative SDK
    I first edit my settings.gradle file and then sync... This works with no error.
    I then go on to edit my build.gradle (making sure i edit the modular file). After editing it, I get prompted with "sync project," to which I accept. I then get the following error:
    "error:configuration with name 'default' not found."
    May someone please guide me or tell me what I should do or what I should read.
    Thank you for your time.

  • ERROR :SCRIPT7002: XMLHttpRequest: Network Error 0x2efd, Could not complete the operation due to error 00002efd. File: default.html

    Hi ,all
    I am beginner for windows 8 app development.
    I created simple project on domain name called www.aaa.com and also hosted web services on same domain. at that time i was able to access web services on my application code using AJAX. Then i created same project on another domain called www.bbb.com then
    i tried to access wcf services from www.aaa.com domain. at that time my javaScript console is throwing this error "SCRIPT7002: XMLHttpRequest: Network Error 0x2efd, Could not complete the operation due to error 00002efd.
    File: default.html". I tried some thing on both end on web services project as well as windows 8 app.
    AT app side in package.appxmanifest file i added below code.
    <Capabilities>
        <Capability Name="privateNetworkClientServer" />
        <Capability Name="internetClient" />
      </Capabilities>
    AT web services side in web.config file i added following settings.
    <serviceHostingEnvironment aspNetCompatibilityEnabled="true"
            multipleSiteBindingsEnabled="true" />
        <standardEndpoints>
          <webScriptEndpoint>
            <standardEndpoint name="" crossDomainScriptAccessEnabled="true" />
          </webScriptEndpoint>
        </standardEndpoints>
    but above all diagnostics are not working for me.
    and one more thing at www.bbb.com domain in sample android app while i am trying to consume my wcf services it is working fine. the problem is specifically for windows 8 app only.
    Here is sample code which i had written in default.html file
    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8" />
    <title>DemoWebService</title>
    <!-- DemoWebService references -->
    <script src="/js/default.js"></script>
    <script>
    var personNameVar = "Hardik";
    var dataIn = '{' + '"personName":"' + personNameVar + '"}';
    $.ajax({
    url: "http://SomeIP:SomePort/Service1.svc/HelloWorld",
    type: "POST",
    contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8",
    data: dataIn,
    dataType: "json",
    success: function (data) {
    var object = JSON.parse(data.d);
    if (object.Error == '') {
    $('body').html(object.Response);
    error: function (error) {
    $('body').html(error);
    </script>
    </head>
    <body>
    </body>
    </html>
    so is there any help. I am eagerly waiting for it.
    P.S I am accessing www.aaa.com web services using VPN.
    Thanks in advance,
    Hardik

    In that case, I recommend that you collect a Network trace using a tool such as Microsoft Network Monitor or Wireshark to understand what IP Address is the connection being made to. The 0x2efd error correlates to the WinINet error: ERROR_INTERNET_CANNOT_CONNECT
    meaning that the connection with the remote server cannot be established. When you collect a network trace, try looking for the TCP-SYN signal and see whether your remote server responds with a SYN-ACK.

  • ADSContextException exception when trying to accept server certificate.

    I installed Directory Server 6.1 using zip distribution over an existing install of 5.2.
    I deployed the dscc.war to a Tomcat 5.5 deployment.
    When I try to create a new server or try to register an existing server (my 5.2 server hopefully) I get the following error when I try to accept the server certificate:
    An error occurred trying to accept the certificate: com.sun.directory.dcc.ads.ADSContextException
    Any ideas?

    ADSContextException exception can occur in many cases. Can you give the entire stack trace ?
    thanks,
    Carole.

  • I still distribute most FCP projects via DVD. No matter which MPEG2 setting I use in Compressor 4 I get an error - even Apple's default DVD setting. Has anybody successfully output an FCP X project to compressor and then out on a DVD?

    Anthony, thank you very much - this works, though I thought I had tried your process previously without success. I've tried so many things who knows. I've had zero luck going with the Send to Compressor or Export Using Compressor Settings under the Share menu. I'm also finding Compressor 4 to be a real dog on my system even though I have a brand new quad core machine with 8G of RAM. Prior to receiving your post I did come up with a different work process. Using Export Movie from FCP X and then loading the result in Compressor 3 works flawlessly. Thanks again!
