Error trying to update samples

The preview download instructions recommend updating the SDK. I am following those instructions have received this error when runing the LiveCycle_ES_SDK\samples\SamplesConfig\bin and run runUninstallSamples.bat
Error log >> java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/adobe/livecycle/samples/samplesconfig/SamplesUninstall
Exception in thread "main"
Anyone have ideas on correcting this problem?

Class com.adobe.livecycle.samples.samplesconfig.SamplesUninstall resides within adobe-samplesconfig.jar; this adobe-samplesconfig.jar will get included in the CLASSPATH if runUninstallSamples.bat can resolve %SamplesConfigDir%\lib; thats clearly not taking place in your environment; edit your runUninstallSamples.bat and explicitly add to the CLASSPATH the absolute location of adobe-samplesconfig.jar on your file system.

I've been having this problem for a while (maybe a couple of months) and avoided it until I updated my iPad and iPhone to iOS 6. Now they won't sync! :|
At first it was simply collapsing after the install process. I've tried again tonight and it is saying that it has an E drive error. I've tried to use the instructions on other discussions (using Run, CMD, and mapping the E drive to C) - but, I don't actually have an E drive. My c used to be split into two, including an E drive, but it has since been returned to one single drive. (I'm a teacher, the IT manager at school sorted this - managing one drive is easier for me to keep it working well - until now).
Itunes was reinstalled and set up simply in the C drive, but could there be something remaining from it's previous install? Help?!?

Error trying to update web.xml

I'm trying to update web.xml via these instructions:

The upload fails, and I see this excetpion in the log:
Caused by: java.rmi.RemoteException: Error occurred during single file update of
       application sap.com/irj. Reason: Updating the security information in the
       deployment descriptors is not allowed in this operation.; nested exception is:
     com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.exceptions.WebDeploymentException:

Ideas? I'm signing in as Administrator, so why would the operation not be allowed?
This is a 7.0 system, and the instructions are for a nw2004 system. We've successfully uploaded the web.xml file before, so I'm thinking that something has changed in 7.0 that's preventing the upload.

The message is actually completely accurate...but here is more:
KB19921 Unable to upgrade BlackBerry Device Software because the message "BlackBerry Device Software updates are only available to BlackBerry smartphone users with an active BlackBerry service subscription" appears when Desktop Manager is launched
If you do not subscribe, from your mobile service provider, to an adequate BB-level data plan, then you are not eligible to use the updated OS levels.

Error trying to update collection metadata

Hi,
I'm trying to update via Java code - using service COLLECTION_UPDATE - a collection/virtual folder which was previously created(by Java code, again) - using service COLLECTION_ADD - , but I get this error:
Error: !csCollectionUnableToUpdateCollection!csCollectionUnableToOpenCollection
What could be the cause? Is the update operation coming to soon after the folder has been created? What should be done?

Ok I bought Master Collection CS6. Everything was fine untill I nedded to update Illustrator 16.3 to 16.4. Install error UM... something basicly it failed to install illustrator update 16.4. of update failed just right now for photoshop too. mother-fuc...@@#@#

Connection error trying up update iMix

I've been trying for MONTHS to update my iMixes. My computer has even gone through a few software updates. Still no luck. I get:"...An unknown error occurred (5002). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later." I'm on an Intel-based Mac in 10.4.11. I used to be able to do this. I can purchase songs without a problem.

I had previously encountered the difficulties you have described.
What worked for me was to click on the...
- 'file' tab in iTunes and drop down to click on
- 'new playlist'
- create the title for the iMix
- drag your songs over (with any updates added to it) and then
- 'publish' it again
This seemed to bypass the glitch that was preventing me from updating iMixes. I think I also deleted the original mix that i was trying to update (by accessing "manage iMixes' through one's acct).
Please try this and let me know if it works for you. Good Luck.

Error trying to update PLE400 firmware

I'm having performance issues with my PLE400.
So the first thing I'm trying is to update the firmware (currently on 2.1.81).
I downloaded the file: FW_PLE400_2.1.9.ggl and when I tried to update it (Powerline AV utility ver 1.6.0.2) via my iMac I got the following message:
Operation Failed
Selected GGL file mismatch loaded FW
I went to the Linksys site and downloaded the file again and tried again.
Still getting the same message.
Any ideas?

I don't have one of those devices but when you go to update the firmware does it ask for a specific file type? (Ex: *.bin, *.img)
The reason I ask is I've seen it where you need to rename the file extension to upload a firmware file but it's dangerous if you make a mistake. This would brick the device.

Getting "Publishing Error" trying to update website, please help.

New to this and love iWeb so far. Successfully loaded www.cruisingblueheavens once or twice or several times but today getting this error message: "Can’t create the file “mwmac.png.” The disk may be damaged or full, or you may not have sufficient access privileges." I originally thought by saying "OK"to this I was bypassing this error and making updates anyway, but not true. Previous error was related to "PSCN0479.jpg" and I cropped and re-copied the new photo of ourselves and got past that. Now I have no idea why or where I might have a .png file but the update doesn't get past the first few seconds of the Welcome page. What's wrong and/or what's the work-around? I have 3.04 version, the latest supposedly.

Error trying to update ipad

I'm trying to update my Ipad 2 to the most current operating system. When connected to Wifi, I try going to Settings > General, but I do not have an option to update here. I've tried hooking it up to itunes on my PC and updating from there, but I get a message "The ipad update server could not be contacted". Getting frustrated as I can't update the software and I can't access many new apps as they require a higher version to work correctly.

Error trying to update iPhone to software version 1.0.2

I have just recently purchased an iPhone. I have no problem syncing it with iTunes. The only problem I have is every time I try to update the software version of my iPhone, it downloads the entire thing then an error message pops up as shown:

I have received this error several times and no matter what I do, I can't get it to work. The phone is not hacked, I just purchased it 2 days ago. Its BRAND NEW. I even tried erasing all setting and info, and a restore. Still, nothing.
What am I doing wrong here? Is there something I need to do in the network settings of my iPhone? Or my cpu? I don't understand the error as I am connected to the internet.

Thank you for your help. I did try to do a full restore, but had to pause the download. When I came back and resumed it, the download just kept going past the 92MB file. It went all the way up to 200MB of 92MB...I have no idea what is going on with that. So I just stopped it and deleted it.
But it takes almost an hour to download it from my connection and I didn't want to try it again. Maybe I will have to.
Any other suggestions?

Error trying to Update iPhone, now I cannot use my iPhone!!!!!!!!

I plugged my iphone into my computer, clicked "Check for Updates" and it downloaded the software and installed it.. and then while it was "Verifying Software Update" it gets an error saying "The iphone "iPhone" could not be updated. An unknown error occured. (6)"
Then a picture of itunes and a usb cable shows up on my iphone screen.
So I unlug it and plug it back in, and itunes then says "Itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. You must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes."
So, I click OK and thn Restore. Then it says "Are you sure you want to restore your iphone "iphone" to it's factory settings? All of your media and other data will be erased, and the newest version of the iphone software will be installed." So I click "Restore and Update" (because if I click cancel, I still can't do anything but click restore, and it gives the same message everytime.)
So, once I click Restore and Update, it then starts that process. Then I get another error in the middle of it "Verifying Software" saying "The iphone "iphone" could not be restored. An unknown error occured. (6)" I then click OK. Itunes again no longer finds my device and my iphone screen shows ituness and a usb cable.
NOW I CANNOT TURN MY IPHONE ON, BECAUSE WHEN I DO ALL I SEE IS THE ITUNES PICTURE AND A USB CABLE. Hi everybody, well update on my phone....IT CRASHED!!!! I happen to be a fortunate sole as my phone was ONLY 21 days old....I took it to nearest dealer after techs could not resolve the issue...it would not go past 'verifying phone software'....I was given a FULL refund, thank goodness....no more IPHONE for me...back to the ole faithful 'razor' phone..one thing a tech tried was other than the obvious, while plugging your cord into port HOLD down the HOME button at same time and it could FORCE the phone into recovery mode...didn't work for me but might for you guys....very pathetic...have an aunt in SLC, Utah...up for an upgrade in November and with this she's OPTED to maintain her current phone and contract with other carrier....I don't think this is very good for Apple or AT&T....for those of you lucky enough to still be up and running, the only thing I can say is make sure you have a backup OFTEN...FYI, my original contacts on my sim card that was transferred from my old phone were STILL THERE....good luck everybody, I'm out of here....

Software corruption error trying to update to 8.2

When I try using iTunes to update iPhone 5s to iOS 8.3 it downloads ok, then throws an error that the download is corrupted and I should check the internet connection. Tried several times to update with no success. Turned off and restarted the phone. My phone is working fine otherwise. Could this be a server problem and I should try tomorrow.

Should have mentioned that the internet is working just fine. I just updated on my iMac several games from iTunes store with no problem. I am using iTunes 12.1.0.50 and Yosemite 10.10.2 on my iMac.

Can anybody tell me what is going wrong?
I have done every thing that is instructed in the deployment guide of the jsf1.1 release
It says jsf1.1 is tested on a 1.3 jvm and there is no reason why the sample wont run on j2ee 1.3 container
It is running fine on tomcat 4.1.29(j2ee 1.3 container)
So what is wrong with oc4j? or is it an oc4j problem?
