ERROR U44M1|210  UPGRADING PREMIERE PRO

After installation and upgrade, using CC desktop and via the upgrade option in the app receive error U44M1|210. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling...same problem.
App seems to be running fine. Its the Adobe Media Encoder CC 7.2 update / bug fix that's giving the error...unable to extract downloaded files
Alan

Hi Gautam
Many thanks for the feedback.
Options 1 and 3 I had already tried but downloading the update directly from Adobe.com and installing the patch did the trick…and CC now sees this as up to date.
Very irritating as living in Africa requires patience with slow internet speeds

  • Can't upgrade premiere pro to 5.0.3

i tries to upgrade from 5 to 5.0.3 and i got this eror:
    some updates faild to install

Dudi-vfi do you receive any specific errors?  What version specifically of Premiere Pro are you attempting to update?  Finally what operating system are you using?

  • Upgrade Premiere Pro CS5.5 on PC to CS6 on MAC? Use both at same time?

Can I upgrade from my Premiere Pro CS5.5 on my PC Laptop to CS6 on my new MAC machine?  If so, will I still be able to use my CS5.5 on my PC at the same time as using CS6 on my MAC?
I'd be grateful for your advice and, if this is possible, how to proceed.
    Many thanks,
    Andrew Kent

The original poster was not on the Creative Cloud subscription.
    What a mess.
I think what Baber is saying is Adobe considers an "Upgrade" purchase from a prior license as an entirely new separate license. That allows you to run the old version license on a different platform from the new "Upgrade" license.
So if you need to run both platforms (Windows and Mac) your options are:
    Cloud subscription
Purchase a whole new second license to be able to run the current version on both platforms (what we did)
Wait for an point version update and upgrade going to the other platform. That allows you to run on both Windows and Mac, but one version back on one of the platforms but at a greatly reduced price until the next point upgrade.
Seems pretty convoluted and obtuse. But ..."It is what it is."

  • Error installing update in Premiere Pro CC 2014.2, error code U44M1I210

Tried several times to update Premiere Pro CC 2014.2 with the same error code U44M1I210. Tired to contact customer but their site is down.

Got the same Error. Previous I worked with a GTX 760, and was hoping to get it fixed with using a GTX 780 6GB. But just as you, didn't solve the Problem.
Usually I got the Problem solved, with exiting Premiere, restarting it, reset my Workspace. Then the Problem of having the bugged Workspace was gone. And also the Problem of the missing Video Tracks.
At the moment I started on a new Project. Pretty simple, with only a 21 second DV footage. And here I was switching tabs with my Browser, came back to the Project, and the Video Tracks were gone. I saved, closed Premiere, restated and the Video Tracks are still  missing.
So I made a new Sequence, voilá the Video Tracks are there. Thus I need to copy and paste the Tracks onto the new Sequence.
But that is not really a solution!
I was on the Phone with Adobe, and on Chat, but they couldn't help me. They suggested to get a Tesla or Quadro Card, or at least a GPU that got confirmed as working on their page. I did that, but obviously, that is not the issue.

  • Upgrading Premiere Pro CC to Premiere Pro CC 2014 in the middle of a project

    Hi guys!
I was working through a project with Premiere pro CC until I checked my creative cloud app and realised there was an update for the software, Premiere Pro CC 2014. I thought great, I'll download it straight away.
It's a great bit of software and it does seem to be faster, however, whenever I play a sequence everything is fine and working as expected except the sequence monitor, which constantly freezes while trying to edit. Quitting the application and re-opening it is my only real solution so far as it's fine once I do this for a good couple of minutes until the sequence monitor freezes again
I was wondering whether I could get any help with this problem? I am using Yosemite as my OS and I have read up on many issues that have come about with adobe applications since the launch of Apple's new OS update. Someone recommended going back to the older version of Premiere Pro CC, but I've done a serious amount of work on the newer version now so going back is out of the question really.
I've spoken to quite a few people about the issue, like you do, and they are also a bit unclear of a solution. Some say its the graphics card. Some say I need to buy a new computer (I have an imac mid 2010 intel core i3). And most say to downgrade to mavericks again as adobe and Apple are still working on a solution for the near future.
I was thinking of re-installing premiere pro cc 2014 altogether but I am a bit worried that work may go missing if I did?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    Tom

There is this offer of a trial version FC Pro X with 30 day runtime:
    http://www.apple.com/final-cut-pro/trial/
Too bad you didn't have a complete backup that could run the previous OS X
and then you could resume using an earlier Final Cut Pro (10) or (7) since a
clone would have been a means toward that position.
    http://www.apple.com/support/finalcutpro/
    http://www.apple.com/support/pro-apps/
This appears to be another good reason to check out all the reasons why one
would want or need to upgrade a working OS X version, since these kinds of
events are known to happen as a direct result.
Sorry to not have an answer to this, other than try & use the Trial version...
Or see if someone at Apple sales/support can field your issue w/ an answer.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • I get an error 49 when installing Premiere Pro

I downloaded premiere pro as a trail I just paid for monthly service but now gives me error 49

if that's an error during installation, check your install logs, http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html

  • Exit code 15:  Installation failed.  0 fatal 1 error.  Error: media DB error : 12 while installing premiere pro and photoshop through cloud

    Exact error message as follows:
There was a problem installing Premiere Pro 2014....   Installation failed.   Installation encountered an error.  Please restart system and try again (15)  Exit code 15  0 fatal  1 error.  Error: media DB : 12

Thank your for your reply.  I am running windows 8.1.  And there is a huge mess going on.  I was on with Adobe tech support all morning and they cannot get photoshop, premiere to update.  Then they tried to uninstall, and it would not uninstall.  They renamed the directories and did a direct reinstall and it failed.  They changed permissions on directories.  There are no viruses or malware.  I run cccleaner, pcmatic and scan all the time.  This process also corrupted my purchased licensed version of Fireworks CS6.  Now I cannot even get that to install.  We have run the cleaner over and over.  So finally I manually cleaned the registry of selected Adobe products and removed everything from the hard drive.  I am now running scans because they had me disable my pc matic and windows firewall temporarily while they worked on my pc.  I am a graphic designer and I have a project in the waiting.  I need to have fireworks, flash photoshop and premiere working but I don't think this is possible.

  • Upgrade Premiere Pro 2.0?

Ok I have been happy with my Pro 2.0 since I have had the same equipmetn for years.  I just got a Canon T4i and now I need to edit DSLR HD video.  I hoping to upgrade my old software since buying a new full version is out of the question.  I downloaded Elements 12 and dont like it at all.  Maybe there are updated for Pro 2.0 that will handle what I need, I just don't know.  So far the edited video is choppy and no good.  It looks fine after using a program called Power Director but I want my Premiere!

The first version of Premiere Pro that handled DSLR video with any ease is 5.0, which is no longer available.  Currently you can get CS6, or the Creative Cloud subscription.
However, neither will offer you any discounts for such an old version of PP.  You'll be paying full price for both.
And if you've been using the same system since CS2 was released, you will probably want to seriously consider upgrading that as well.  A system that old will not handle this media very smoothly.  I'd estimate you're looking at $1,000 to $2,000 minimum to get things up to speed.

  • EQ1 Error Message on Loading Premiere Pro 5.0!

I have CS5 on a Mac.  This morning, I received an error message halfway through loading Premiere Pro.  The message read, "EQ1 - could not open bin file."  The only option is to click "OK", followed by an option to report the problem or reload the project.  I reload (several times) and when the project finally loaded, it was missing everything I worked on, and obsessively saved, for the previous 24 hours.  I have an 80-minute project debuting a week from Friday and I'm panicing.  Any ideas on a fix (and I don't mean drugs!)
    Thanks!

Thanks, John!  I was able to find one of the saves that kept part of the work I had done.  Unfortunately, upon loading it, I am still getting that EQ1 message!  I'm stumped!  I'd like to be the "glass is half full" kind of guy, but, right now, the glass has a crack in it.  I appreciate your sugestion.

  • Import error. Sony mxf, premiere pro cc, sony PLAD-RW1 plugin 1.2

    Hi All
Since upgrading to Premiere CC i cant open my mxf files anymore.  They worked in CS6.  I have updated the Sony PLAD plugin to v1.2 aswell and still no import.  I am about to try reinstall premiere.  Any ideas?  Camera is pmw f55
    Matt

    Hi Matt,
I just installed PLAD - RW1 v1.2 without issue on Mac and Win.
There's a few things you can try:
    1. Make sure the plugin made it into the correct directory. It should be here - /Adobe Premiere Pro CC/Adobe Premiere Pro CC.app/Contents/Plug-Ins/Common
    2. Hold down Shift on launch to rescan your plugins
    3. Restart your system
Hope this is helpful. Let me know if that does not resolve your problem.

  • Possible to upgrade Premiere Pro CS4 to CS6?

I'm assuming there's no way? What other options do you recommend, but please don't mention Creative Cloud?
I might have to try to find the cheapest CS6 version. I'm just asking in case some of you insiders have some other ideas.
(I don't use a credit card so Creative Cloud is not an option for me.)
    Thanks..

This is the link to buy any or all of CS6... click upgrade instead of new... I don't think CS4 qualifies
    http://www.adobe.com/products/catalog/cs6._sl_id-contentfilter_sl_catalog_sl_software_sl_c reativesuite6.html?promoid=KFPMZ
    >don't use a credit card
Well, that means the link above won't work for you, since it is a web purchase... NOT Cloud, but still via the Internet
You are going to have to try and find a store with an OLD copy of CS6 on the shelf... not very likely, since the Cloud has been out for over a year, and I will GUESS that any boxed copies are long gone
Depending on your needs, you might try Premiere Elements, which is still sold in stores http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere_elements?view=discussions

  • Error when exporting from premiere pro CS6

I have been using PP CS6 since launch date- and have had none stop problems with exporting, I cant dynamic link, add to render ques or simply export straight from PP!
When i Que my project it will export up until half way and then freeze, i've tried changing the clip, removing effects, everything!
has anyone encounted this problem before?
This is happening with more then just this one project aswell.
These are old projects that were originally created in CS5, could that be causing it?

    Thats what i thought!
All earlier projects open, i can edit, manipulate it! do the works! However when it comes to export time! i can't export it to anything! whats the point?!?!
Im really angry, when you pay for something you expect it to do what it was designed to do! and the fact i can't export at all is really really frustrating!
