mpina,
I'm looking for some reference(s) for Net Connect. If you are willing to share please send me a note at [email protected]
As to your question, it's my understanding that there are no user forms for your topic. I've been looking for real user information exchange for Net Connect for more than a year. My Sun Vendor will not talk about the product. The Sun web pages are confusing and have very little detail.
Thanks,
Glen

    IIRC this file, sasl32.dll, should get installed onto %WINDIR%\system32 when you install DS5.2 windows version.
    You may run WinZIP and File/Open "d52diu.zip" (DS5.2 zip image) and look for "nsbasesys.zip", double click to Open it and you should find "sasl32.dll" there.

    I started to use Netbeans IDE 7.0.1 with jdk 7u9. I have an issue with

    Please help.

    java -cp .;c:\scientists\darwin.jar

    previous put
    import com.darwinsys.util.*;
    No. The command above is how you run your program. I assumed you had already compiled it. To compile it you need the command
    javac -classpath .;c:\javacooksrc2\javacooksrc2.jar MyProgramAll the classpath does is tell the java compiler or the JVM where to find classes that are needed to compile/run your program.

  • Can't uninstall Sun One Web Server

    Hello -
    I can't uninstall Sun One Web Server. I want to do this inorder to reinstall it, but the uninstaller didn't work. You can't reinstall without uninstalling. I'm running Windows XP.
    Has this happened to anyone else? Any help would be appreciated.
    Joanna

    Hey people, I did it!
    You should do the following, in order to remove and reinstall Sun One Web Server:
    #1 - Uninstall through Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs
    #2 - Delete the Sun One Webserver folder
    #3 - Delete all sun one folders that are on your Documents and Settings
    #4 - Delete the register in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Software / Sun / Webserver
    #5 - Delete the registers for the services you created in Sun One in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / System / CurrentControlSet / Services
    After doing the step 6 (removing the services created), I was able to reinstall the webserver. I believe that the install program checks if there are any Sun One Webserver services in order to determine if it is already installed or not.
    I hope it could help you.

  • Uninstall SUN JDK 1.6_14 and install SUN JDK 1.6_18 for Weblogic

    My GridControl server has all of a sudden gone wild in consuming 100% of the cpu. The process was java.exe in the Middleware folder. Somebody suggested to verify the JDK and I indeed have an older version than the one recommended.
    Does anybody know where it is documented on how to uninstall and then reinstall SUN JDK 1.6_18 and have Weblogic still work afterward? (Win 2008 32 bit)
    I'd hate to reinstall the entire Gridcontrol 11g because I have the wrong jdk.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Uninstalling SUN JDK 1.6_14 from your Box is optional step....Most of the Servers are flexible enough ...they provide us the facility to change the JDK at any point of time...Without reinstalling the Product from the scrap....
    You can directly install SUN JDK 1.6_18 in your WebLogic Server Box. Then you need to make a small change in the *"<DOMAIN_HOME>\bin\setDomainEnv.cmd"* file ...to change the JAVA_HOME variable value...That's all.
    Next time whenever you will start your WebLogic Servers it will pick up the SUN JDK 1.6_18 version only.
    I am pasting few lines from *"setDomainEnv.cmd"*
    @REM *************************************************************************
    set WL_HOME=C:\bea103\wlserver_10.3
    for %%i in ("%WL_HOME%") do set WL_HOME=%%~fsi

    @REM We need to reset the value of JAVA_HOME to get it shortened AND
    @REM we can not shorten it above because immediate variable expansion will blank it
    set JAVA_HOME=%JAVA_HOME%

  • Web Service error com.sun.xml.ws.fault.SOAPFaultBuilder.disableCaptureStack

    Hi,
    I have implemented a Java class which calls some XML RPC 3.0 proxy methods.
    If I test the method input inside a "main ()" method and get the output, it works nice.
    The XML RPC 3.0 procy method is also invoked and there is no problem.
    However, when I expose this java class as a "web service" and invoke the web service from the JDeveloper integrated console or
    even an external test client running on a browser, I get the error mentioned below.

    Hello AYVR
    I found your post because I want to suppress the stack trace in my response of the web service. I put the -Dcom.sun.xml.ws.fault.SOAPFaultBuilder.disableCaptureStackTrace=false parameter in the setDomainEnv.cmd in the bin directory of my domain. Maybe this is also a solution for you.
    Cheers Chris

  • Adobe AIR Error - Uninstalling and Re-installing does not work?

    I keep getting this error everytime I turn n my laptop.  I have uninstalled and re-installed Adobe AIR several times and still keep getting this error after it tells me it has been installed successfully.  "This installation of this application is damage.  Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance."  What is wrong with this program?  I cannot keep uninstalling and re-installing  this program and it is not installing properly.

    Pat has a great point and asks a good question.  In addition to identifying the AIR application that is causing you problems you may also want to review Troubleshoot AIR installation | Windows - http://helpx.adobe.com/air/kb/troubleshoot-air-installation-windows.html.

  • Error in Sun's manifests?

    I'm working on a version verifier for our product and I'm having
    troubles getting version data from Sun's jars. The problem appears to
    be a missing newline in the manifest. For instance,
    jdk1.3.1/jre/lib/rt.jar has a manifest which looks like:
      Manifest-Version: 1.0
      Specification-Title: Java Platform API Specification
      Specification-Vendor: Sun Microsystems, Inc.
      Created-By: 1.3.1 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
      Implementation-Vendor: Sun Microsystems, Inc.
      Specification-Version: 1.3
      Implementation-Version: 1.3.1
      Implementation-Title: Java Runtime Environment
      ...I use this code to read it:
        JarFile     jarFile = new JarFile( new File( ... ) );
        Manifest    manifest = jarFile.getManifest();
        Set         entries = manifest.getEntries().entrySet();
        for ( Iterator iter = entries.iterator(); iter.hasNext(); )
          Map.Entry         me          = (Map.Entry)iter.next();
          Attributes        attrib      = (Attributes)me.getValue();
          String            specTitle   = attrib.getValue( Attributes.Name.SPECIFICATION_TITLE );
        }and the Specification-Title is not found! The bug appears to be that
    there is a missing newline after the Manifest-Version line.
    The same error appears in other Sun jars:
        jaxb-rt-1.0-ea.jar
        java_xml_pack-spring-02-dev/jaxm-1.0.1-ea2/lib/commons-logging.jar
        java_xml_pack-spring-02-dev/jaxp-1.2-ea2/jaxp-api.jar
        oracle-9.0.1.1/ora90/ds/lib/jnet.jar
        and more...Has anyone else experienced this? Does Sun know about the problem?
    Is it a bug in the Manifest parser rather than the jar manifests?
    Thanks,
    Robert

    Maybe the tool can help you to check the manifest file...
    JavaJar has an embed manifest check alg...

    Did you read the Adobe ReadMe.htm?
    System requirements for Solaris
    UltraSPARC or UltraSPARC IIIi processor
    Solaris 9 or 10
    GNOME or KDE Desktop Environment (GNOME only for Solaris 10)
    512 MB of RAM (1 GB recommended)
    175 MB of available hard disk space (additional 60 MB required for all Asian fonts; additional 13 MB required for the Extended Language Pack (HATV) and the Central European font pack)
    GNU C library (glibc) version 2.3 or higher
    GTK+ (GIMP Toolkit) user interface library, version 2.4 or higher: This can be installed from the Package CDs obtained from Sun with the operating system CDs. Also, the GTK+ library can be
    downloaded from http://www.sun.com/software/star/gnome/index.html.
    Firefox 1.5 or higher; Mozilla 1.7.3 or higher
    OpenGL library: This can be installed from the Package CDs obtained from Sun with the operating system CDs. Also, the OpenGL library can be downloaded from
    http://www.sun.com/software/graphics/opengl/download.xml.
    OpenSSL 0.9.7, OpenLDAP, and CUPS libraries: These libraries can be obtained from the Package CDs obtained from Sun with the operating system CDs or from
    http://sun.com/software/solaris/freeware. Remember to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include the path where these libraries are installed.
    libstdc++ library: Adobe Reader requires the libstdc++.so.5 library. Some systems might not have it installed by default. To fix this, you need to install the compat-libstdc++ package.
    If that lib is not in this selection of stuff needed to run acroread. Try downloading pango from sunfreeware.
    Good luck!!

Then I tried to mount other direcotries and create new java files, always got the same error. Could anyone please kindly tell me whats wrong with the Sun One Studio? Thank you very much.
