    Error completely shows that you have not met prerequisite to install this component. Check what all component you need to install in order to install aii_af_app.sda

  • Unresolved dependencies found

    Hi there,
    I have created a Java-Classes-DC (JCDC) and a WebDynpro-DC (WDDC). Both DC's are local. I put JavaBean classes in the JCDC. I use this JavaBeans as model in my WDDC. The WDDC uses the public part of the JCDC for build time and deploy time. I can build both DC's with no error (i get a warning for JCDC). When i deploy the WDDC i get this error:
    Unresolved dependencies found for the following SDAs:
    1.: development component 'WDDC'/'vendor/'local'/'20060130144017'
    dependency:
           name:     'JCDC'
         vendor:     'vendor'
    Deployment will be aborted.
    Any advice will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Matthias

    Hallo Matthias,
    Java DCs cannot be deployed. Consequently you have to add the sources of such a DC to a Public Part of purpose "<b>assembly</b>". The <i>Public Part Dependcy Type</i> of this DC in the embedding DC must be "Runtime". An additional Public Part for the purpose "compilation" must be added too, so that the contained jar-files are added to classpath entries of the embedder DC. See ... <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e0/020340dcf41e07e10000000a1550b0/content.htm">SAP NetWeaver Online Help - Java DC</a>and <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e6/504540d1b79523e10000000a1550b0/content.htm">Dependencies Between DC Types</a>
    <b>Other Solution:</b> - <u>Embedding Jar-Files within Web Dynpro DCs</u>
    Another approach for solving you problem and for simplifying life is to embed such model-jar files within a Web Dynpro DC, which is a deployable DC. In this case only one public part with purpose "compilation" must be declared.

    you answer is right there whatever your installing depends on compiz-git, which conflicts with compiz-quinn-cvs, Either agree to replace it or force it with f

    Umm, so how do I do to install lib32-libwbclient?
    https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lib32-libwbclient/
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AUR
    Maybe it wasn't clear from my original post, but I have yaourt installed and I tried to install lib32-libwbclient by running yaourt -S lib32-libwbclient, which resulted in the error message in my original post. I have used yaourt to successfully install packages in the past, such as ttf-ms-fonts and owncloud-client.

  • Shaman - cannot re-install, unresolvable dependencies after upgrade

    after the most recent pacman upgrade, i cannot re-install shaman. error message: unresolvable dependencies pacman <3.3.  does shaman need to be updated before it can be installed now? any workarounds? or recommendations for a pacman front-end? (i use pacman & yaourt from bash and shaman both, but having a gui to work from is sometimes more convienent for somethings). i have arch on two other machines that upgraded with the same result.
    thank you in advance for any help,
    rg
    Update: it's a problem on Chakra, too http://chakra-project.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?id=1187
    in the meantime i've been trying to compile shaman versions from aur, git etc., but getting a couple errors, debug, debug, debug...

    we had a little snafu when archlinux-extra released their split packages. suddenly all dependencies were broken because the split pkgs didn't "provide" the whole kde modules anymore but just it's part (which is of course fine and the way to go), which resulted in two of our devs emergency-rebuilding our whole repo yesterday ^^ I don't know whether i686 is done yet, but x86_64 is already done (but the packages are in kdemod-testing)
    just follow this link for x86_64 and this link for i686 to find out how you should configure your pacman for the moment.
    (oh and we can't build shaman either for the moment, pacman 3.3 seems to have broke something in shaman with the new libalpm. our dev should be working on it)
    cheers

    You could always try removing the ejb-link, and see if the container can inject a reference in the runtime environment (accessible using jndi java:comp/env/ejb/Etrack).
    If it doesn't, check these:
    1) http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/rhaps/jonas-guide/ch-beans-ejbref.html
    2) the ejb 2.0 spec, which the original poster was using (although this is the same in 2.1 and 3.0), states the folowing:
    +20.3.2 Application Assembler&rsquo;s responsibilities+
    The Application Assembler can use the ejb-link element in the deployment descriptor to link an*
    EJB reference to a target enterprise bean.*
    The Application Assembler specifies the link between two enterprise beans as follows:*
    +&bull; The Application Assembler uses the optional ejb-link element of the ejb-ref or+
    ejb-local-ref element of the referencing enterprise bean. The value of the ejb-link*
    element is the name of the target enterprise bean. (It is the name defined in the ejb-name element*
    of the target enterprise bean.) The target enterprise bean can be in any ejb-jar file in the*
    same J2EE application as the referencing application component.*
    +&bull; Alternatively, to avoid the need to rename enterprise beans to have unique names within an+
    entire J2EE application, the Application Assembler may use the following syntax in the*
    ejb-link element of the referencing application component. The Application Assembler*
    specifies the path name of the ejb-jar file containing the referenced enterprise bean and*
    appends the ejb-name of the target bean separated from the path name by # . The path name*
    is relative to the referencing application component jar file. In this manner, multiple beans with*
    the same ejb-name may be uniquely identified when the Application Assembler cannot*
    change ejb-names.*
    +&bull; The Application Assembler must ensure that the target enterprise bean is type-compatible with+
    the declared EJB reference. This means that the target enterprise bean must be of the type indicated*
    in the ejb-ref-type element, and that the home and component interfaces of the target*
    enterprise bean must be Java type-compatible with the interfaces declared in the EJB*
    reference.*
    The following illustrates an ejb-link in the deployment descriptor.*
    +...+
    *+<enterprise-beans>+*

    The Application Assembler uses the ejb-link element to indicate that the EJB reference &ldquo;Empl-*

  • Exception in thread "main" java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problem

    The following code:
         public boolean find(MusbachJ_Person person,BstNode node)
              //p.l(person);p.l(node.intData);
              if(node.intData.compareTo(person)==0)
                   return true;
              if( node.leftNode != null ) find(person,node.leftNode );
              if( node.rightNode != null ) find( person, node.rightNode);
              else
                   return false;
         }returns the following compilation error:
    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problem:
         This method must return a result of type boolean
         at MusbachJ_TreeNode.find(MusbachJ_TreeNode.java:32)
         at MusbachJ_PeopleTree.main(MusbachJ_PeopleTree.java:91)
    But I don't understand, the else statement is right there, what more does it want? Thanks! :)

    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problem: Unresolved compilation problem is an error that you'll only ever see if you're using an IDE. If you used the javac compiler, then you would have seen that the code doesn't even compile.
    The reason (as others have pointed out) is, that some paths through your method don't return a value.
    I'll re-write your code in the code-style that I usually use, because then it might be easier for you to see the problem:
    public boolean find(MusbachJ_Person person,BstNode node)
         if(node.intData.compareTo(person)==0) {
              return true;
         if( node.leftNode != null ) {
              find(person,node.leftNode );
         if( node.rightNode != null ) {
              find( person, node.rightNode);
         else {
              return false;
    }There are two prolbems. I'll spell out the first and let the other one for you to find:
    1.) you don't do anything with the return-values of the find-methods you are calling. What do you want to do with them?
    2.) What do you return if the current node is not the one that you want and you've got a right node?

  • [Deployment]  Error in dependencies

    Hi,
    created the Jabber-adapter from XI-Programming book of SAP Press. Now I tried to deployed it on J2EE server, but one dependency is wrong:
    [code]
    [sdm] Deploying on server:SOPERAPCK:50118 file:C:\xiAdapter\eclipseProjekte\JabberAdapter\$build\archives\sda\JabberAdapter.sda ...
    [sdm] Deployed!
    [sdm] ResultText:Unresolved dependencies found for the following SDAs:
    [sdm]
    [sdm] 1.: development component 'de.cdiag.xi.pck.jabber'/'cdiag.de'/'de.cdiag'/'3.0.1420070709140421.000'/'0'
    [sdm] dependency:
    [sdm]        name:     'com.echomine.muse'
    [sdm]      vendor:     'sap.com'
    [sdm]
    [sdm] There is no component either in SDM repository or in Deployment batch that resolves the dependency.
    [sdm]
    [sdm] Deployment will be aborted. class $Proxy6
    [info] Finished deployment on server SOPERAPCK
    [/code]
    So I think I have to deploy this muse libary first, but how to do that?
    How to create an SDA or EAR file (without NWDS)?
    Is it not possible to deploy this dependency on-the-fly?
    thanks
    chris

    Hi,
    got it. need to use the deployTool.bat (out of ../j2ee/deploying) for creating a sda-file. Then I can deploy this sda-file as usual..
