Error updating from 2.7.6 to 2.7.8

Question

Hello,
Update Manager stops Downloading after some MB with following Error:
An error occurred while attempting to download updates.
Check the logs for more information.
The Update.log has following entry:
[11:44:23] CDownloadUpdatesDlg: Failed to download updates. Cause: Error downloading update(s):
Failed to compose request.
Updating with the WebInterface stops Downloading too. Same failure.
Any Ideas ? Where can I find

Any firewall involved? I have no problem downloading the updates.

Yes, there are Fiewalls. But the download still runs till 16,02 MB. It stops everytime at 16.02 MB.
