  • Error while to trying to retrieve text

    Hi,
I created a web site using pl/sql, with the Apache Web server and the mod_plsql, but sometimes, when I browse on the pages , I have this error:
Error while to trying to retrieve text for error ORA-03113
I also have problems with words like "h", "r" etc...
The Database is well setted, but it seems the web server needs some environment to work better.
Can you help me? Thanks a lot
    Paolo

    Paolo,
You should check your database trc dumps since that is what causes ORA-03113 errors.
Other than that you would need to supply much more information like your database version, apache version, mod_plsql version, etc.
    Good Luck,
    Rich

  • What can I do to fix an old Power Mac G4 that gives an I/O error message when trying to access Entourage?

What can I do to fix an ld Power Mac G4 that gives an I/O error message when trying to access Entourage?

You mean when you try to just start it?
Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

  • Getting error while uploading a document in a library

    Hi,
I'm getting a weird error while uploading the document in the library. And I don't get it all the times but most of the times.
    It reads:
    The file <library name>/<file name> has been modified by i:0#.<user-id> on <datetime stamp>
How to resolve this ? I have referred many articles on this one, but none helped.
Thanks for your response in advance.
    Regards

    Hi Prajk,
Based on your description, I recommend to check if there are any ItemAdded event receiver or workflows which are triggered when an item is created to update the document properties in the library.
If there is any ItemAdded event receiver on the library, I recommend to wait for ItemAdded to finish before the ListFieldIterator control residing on EditForm.aspx loads (It’s the ListFieldIterator which displays the Item’s fields ).
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/manuj/archive/2009/09/22/itemadded-event-on-document-library-the-file-has-been-modified-by-on-error.aspx
If there is any workflow on the library, I recommend to add a Pause for Duration step at the beginning of the workflows.
If above cannot work, please check ULS log for detailed error message.
For SharePoint 2013, by default, ULS log is at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS.
    Best regards.
    Thanks

  • An error occurred when trying to access the service

I'm asking myself why I purchased a one year subscription to Adobe Reader to convert PDF files to Doc files, when it NEVER WORKS and no one seems to be able to help me!!! I am on a Mac Book Pro with Yosemite (don't upgrade it slows your Mac badly) and whenever I try to convert a pdf to a doc I get 'an error occurred when trying to access the service', can anybody help me please?

    Hi Cedric,
The customer service number is 800833687
The direct link for chat support is: http://adobe.ly/19llvMN
You need to click on 'Still need help' to initiate the chat session.
Are you getting this error: "an error occurred when trying to access the service" while trying to access the service via Reader.
Try using the link: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf sign in with your Adobe ID and try to convert a pdf to doc and check if that works for you.

  • Getting error (-1202) when trying to access my wishlist

getting error (-1202) when trying to access my wishlist

this may help from another thread

This solved my questionRe: iTunes Error (-1202)
    Dec 28, 2012 6:35 PM (in response to crossi85)
I am having the same issue on my iMac.  It occurred after the last iTunes update.  Apple support offered no real solution.  They tried "clearing" my Wish List, but that didn't work, and advised me to re-install iTunes.  However, I tried clicking the "My Wish List" link on the right side of the iTunes Home page, instead of the one I usually use under the "Manage" column near the bottom of the screen - and it worked!  Furthermore, my Wish List was still intact even though they had supposedly cleared it.  So, in my case, the problem appears to be the iTunes site, and not my computer.  My solution: Try accessing the Wish List from a different link within iTunes.

Just recently I am getting the following error message when trying to access web sites. I am using Firefox browser version 10.0.2. I get a pop up window stating "Exc in ev handl: TypeError: c.location is null" as the web site page is being displayed in browser winder. Then I have to click ok. It doesn't matter what web link/site I go to it happens. It is an issue with some plug-in?

  • Popup window error : You are trying to access a page that is no longer..

    Hello guys,
read all the threads related to popup windows and everything works fine except one thing: all the time I get following error :
"You are trying to access a page that is no longer active.
    - The referring page may have come from a previous session. Please select Home to proceed."
    Let's define setup I did :
    1. page installed and should be fine, some controller created as well;
    2. new function defined using following params : Type = SSWA jsp function, web HTML = OA.jsp?page=/xxcompany/oracle/apps/icx/por/req/webui/xxPage
    3. function added to menu used in particular responsibility
IF I define some Promt for this menu entry, I can access this page following way : OA_HTML/RF.jsp?function_id=25860 - everything works fine but I need to get it in popup window
Fine, popup window URl (no problems with popup window at all) : OA_HTML/OA.jsp?page=/xxcompany/oracle/apps/icx/por/req/webui/xxPage return mentioned error message.
Fine, let's try this : OA_HTML/OA.jsp?OAFunc=XX_FUNCTION return same error again.
What else I tried? Well, post params like resp_id and so on = nothing helps so far.
    Something missing in setup?
    Any ideas?

    Hi,
is it a seeded page or a custom one?
In the first case, have you extended the root AM?
I had an error like that when I tried to extend the root AM in a seeded page, before to know it was not possible.

  • Error -1020 When Trying to Access iTunes Store - Help!

I keep getting Error -1020 when trying to access the iTunes store. Just started happening this morning.
Nothing online from customer support listed for this error.
    Thanks!

Looks like it's busted. Same problem here. The way all the support mechanisms work, you can't even report the problem, since you can't really log in to the store.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply.
I've read all the posts mentioned (quite a few more) but I couldn't find any suggested solution to the "non-oracle10g"-problem other than using the global db name instead of the sid - which didn't help in our case:
However, in a last desperate attempt to solve the problem on my own before launching another cry-for-help-post I did try running the configuration assistant using the correct password for the SYS user 8-} and - strange but true - it did work :-)
Needless to say: I used the global db name of course, so I can't say what would have happened without it, but I trust your hint was a legitimate one.
Anyway - I gues that error Message concerning a "non-oracle10g database" was slightly misleading in this case.... grrrr.
