Error updating universal app - 80070020

I have had very few downloads of my updated game. I recently updated an xna game to universal game using html5/ JavaScript. First issue is that marketplace app doesn't even notify that update is available. Second when I try to force update it gives me 80070020
error. Anyone seen this error? How do users recover from it.

Have you checked the latest version for your updated app, for Universal app, the setting of "Generate app bundle" is "If needed" by default, this may
be the reason, you could try to set the option for 'Generate app bundle' to "Never" and create package again.
For the error code, I can only find this related KB:

The cause might be a that program running on your computer is interfering with Windows Update, you could try to restart your computer and update your app again.

    I've tried uninstalling all of my CC products, then clean all of them with Adobe CC Cleaning Tool. But nothing helped me. I've looked into Install Log files and I've found that CSXS filed have an errors. Here is an example:

    I've found a solution of this problem.
    1. Launch any of CC App (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
    2. Go to the HELP -> UPDATES
    3. It will start Adobe Aplication Manager, then UNCHECK ALL of Adobe CSXS Infrastucture 4 files (910 KB) under all of your updating Aplications.
    4. Click "UPDATE" button.
    That's all. All of my APPS updated to the latest versions.

    Hi Jeff, I'm using OS X Mavericks 10.9.1
    In the first attachement you can see the Creative Cloud screen that always stays blank.
    In the second attachement you can see an error screen (more a pop up) that show an errro after I tried to login with my Adobe ID. I have to do that when I start up any of the Adobe apps (Photoshop, Premier, Acrobat etc).

  • Error updating most apps in the manager

    Hi All
    I noticed in Adobe Application Manager, nearly all the apps showed a status of 'Install'. I have already installed all apps some time ago.
    I thought this was odd so I went into an app (premiere) and went to updates - but it said already up to date?
    Thought I had nothing to lose, so I proceeded to install each app in the application manager.
    Some apps installed ok, but about 6 or so had the error shown below or similair:
    I did a retry, but same result
    I do have a drive Z ( a network mapped drive) but my apps are stored in the default directory on drive C
    Anyone know whats happening?

    Try this:
    Make sure this checkbox is checked in the System/Sharing preference pane:
    If it is, uncheck it and then recheck and try ordering again.

    Thank you Catherine & MrToaster - Yes - I've just updated to my new credit card. All the details were correct, inc authorisation code but App Store kept prompting me to update iMovie then, not allowing me to (There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (20)).
    Your advice worked - I logged out and in again.
    The problem is that I'll definitely have forgotten your tip when my card next expires!

    Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing when trying to update Pages on my iMac.
    I recommend signing out of the App Store and signing back in and then trying the update again:
    Sign out
    Choose Store > Sign Out.
    Sign in using an Apple ID
    Choose Store > Sign In, or click Sign In in the Quick Links section. The Quick Links section is located in the right part of the window shown when you click Featured, Top Charts, or Categories in the toolbar.
    Enter your Apple ID and password, and then click Sign In.

    If you're having problems with the App Store you might try this:
    1 - enable the Debug menu in App Store:
    open the Terminal application.
    copy the command below and paste into the Terminal window:
    defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool true
    followed by Enter.
    launch App Store, login.
    2 - select the Debug ➙ Reset Application option:
    3 - try again.

    Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
