Error: Upgrade von CS5 Design Premium auf CS6 Design und web Premium

Hi, ich möchte ein Upgrade CS6 Design&Web Premium auf meinen iMac(Macosx 10.6.8) installieren. Habe aktuell noch CS5 Design Premium auf dem Rechner. Starte installation von CD, muss die Seriennumer von CS6 eingeben. Es folgt die Meldung" Die angegebene Seriennr. ist zwar gültig, auf diesem Comp. wurde aber kein als Berechtigungsnachweis geeignetes Produkt gefunden". Daraufhin wähle ich aus der vorgegebenen Liste mein Produkt (cs5 Design Premium) aus und gebe deren Serienummer ein. Daraufhin folgt die Meldung "Die Seriennr. gilt nicht für ein komaptibles Produkt. Geben Sie eine andere Nummer ein." Beide Creative Suites habe ich unter meiner Adobe-ID online registriert. Vielen dank vorab

Multiple problems installing upgrade from CS5 Design Prem. to CS6 Design Prem.

I had started a thread a few days ago regarding problems that I was having while installing my upgrade from CS5 Design Premium to CS6 Design Premium. Everything seemed to install fine with the exception of Acrobat X Pro. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4716847#4716847
I thought that I had resolved the issue through tech support, but apparently not. First of all, they had me install the trial version of Acrobat X which actually let me install with no errors. A couple of days passed and Acrobat asked if I would like to continue my trial or enter a serial number. I tried to use my serial that came with my upgrade but it rejected it, so I opted to continue the trial. Then earlier today as I was working in InDesign, upon launching I got a script error message.

Cannot open resource file.
After clicking OK it seemed to open InDesign fine and I was able to open files and go about working. While working I noticed that I had no effects in the dropdown menu under 'Object'. Tried the shortcut for them and nothing happened. I have yet to try to open any files containing effects (drop shadow or something) but am guessing that they will not work. My next course of action was to try to Uninstall and Re-Install. I removed CS6 and Acrobat X Pro from my computer and ran the Creative Suite Cleaner program. Then instead of installing the upgrade from the DVD, I decided to download the program from the Adobe LWS and give that a go thinking that maybe the download files are more up-to-date than the DVD that I recieved. Now it seems I am back to square one with the same problems (InDesign missing 'Effects' and who knows what else, and Acrobat X Pro failed to install), but this time I have diffent errors on the "error summary file" that shows up as a link in the "Installation Complete" dialog box. Sorry for being windy, but I really need to get this resolved. Thanks for any and all input. PC is Dell Precision T3500 running Windows 7 and is current on it's updates.

Can I upgrade from CS3 Design Premium to CS6 Design Standard?

I'm looking to upgrade my CS3 (and may need to as I'm upgrading my Mac OS X and not sure about compatibilty)... of course I know I can upgrade like for like, i.e. go from CS3 Design Premium to CS6 Design and Web Premium but I don't really need Dreamweaver and Flash so just wondering if I can upgrade to CS6 Design Standard?
Also, as I'm still relatively new to this arena and have never upgraded before... how does it work? Do I need to keep my CS3 software (i.e. disks) as well as the new software/disks? i.e. if for whatever reason I may need to re-install down the line...or can I get rid of the CS3 once I get the CS6?

Yes, you can do that. But you only have a few more weeks. You may want to look into Creative Cloud instead. You'll need the CS3 serial number to upgrade to CS6 but the CS3 apps do not necessarily need to be installed.

Ok basically I have a user that has an old computer running on XP and I'm in the process of upgrading her machine but she said she had

but the only programs I have are

Web Premium_CS5_LS1

So which would I use to get the requested software installed on her machine or do I have to buy another package or program. Also if I have Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium and Acrobat X Pro on the old machine is there a way to take the license information off the old machine and download the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design and install it with the serial from the old machine I would be throwing away?

Once you download and install, you need to use CS6 serial number in the first screen and click next. On the next screen when it says "Previous qualifying version not available", please select CS5 Design Premium from the drop down list and enter your CS5 serial number and click next. It should then activate without any issues.

Why can't I upgrade from CS5 Design Standard to CS6 Design Standard?

Hi. I recently purchased an upgrade for the Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard from the CS5 version I previously owned. I've downloaded it and now when I try to install it, it's saying I don't have a qualifying product installed already to do it, and it's only giving me CS5.5 or CS6 as options for qualifying products. Can someone from adobe assist me on here? It is nearly impossible to get a hold of the phone support, especially in Canada. And I would need to figure this out in the next 2 weeks so that I could get my full refund if needed.

Upgrading to CS5 Master Collection with CS3 Design Premium Suite

I just bought CS5 Creative Suite Master Collection on Tigerdirect.com. I noticed there wasn't any details about what version of software you can upgrade from (such as Master Collection or Design Premium etc) I currently have CS3 Design Premium Software (an upgraded version from CS1 or whatever). I am installing an ugrade for CS Design & Web premium, via a CD.. from 5.5 to 6. Entered Ser No. It got part the way done then stopped and said I had pirated software. Software arrived in mail today. Win7 user.

If you are still trying to use the same install files then you will likely continue to experience difficulties. Per Mylenium's message #1 please try downloading the trial and installing that.
You may also want to try copying the install files from the disc to confirm that you are receiving disc errors. You can then try the same process on another computer to determine if there is a failure of your installation media or optical drive. If you complete these steps and do determine it is a failure of the media please contact our support team to be sent a replacement of the physical media.

Unfortunately, no.
You can only upgrade a Creative Suite to another Creative Suite.
With CS3, you have until Dec 31, 2012 to upgrade to CS6. After that, CS3 is no longer eligible for upgrade, so then you pay full price for CS6.

The Pros of Adobe CS6 Design Standard vs CS6 Design Standard Cloud

I'm about to purchase CS6 Design Standard, as my CS DS version is too old to upgrade (note: the Standard version suits my needs). Adobe is really pushing the Cloud version. If money is no object - what are the PROS with the Cloud version? Are there ANY reasons not to buy the CLOUD version?
