Error upgrading storage on ICloud

For three days now, I have been getting an error messge when trying to upgrade to 15MG on storage on my IPhone 5.  It says "Cannon Complete Purchase" "A problem occured while trying to process your order.  Try again later."
I took out my credit card information and reentered it and am still getting the same error.

Today this problem no longer presents...

I have upgrade my icloud storage to 20GB, but I want to cancel it. How can I get my money back?

Call the Apple online store in your country.  (In the U.S. it's 1-800-MYAPPLE).

If you were told they would refund the price for the iCloud storage - Contact AppleCare and ask to speak with a senior advisor.  Have the case number for the promised refund available.
If you are trying to update your device, but you don't have sufficient space to download and install the update, you need to delete content from your device.  Buying storage in iCloud does not add space to the device which is what you need.
You can always update using a computer with iTunes installed - this method is faster, and will allow you to make a backup on the local computer (Local backups restore faster than iCloud backups).

I have just upgraded to the icloud and now I am getting an error message on ical - saying "make sure the URL is correct", I haven't changed anything so why is it now an issue? any ideas?
The full message sasy "The calendar https:// cal.me.com:8443/principas/users/(server number) was not found on the server.  Make sure the URL is correct.

10.6.8 cannot access iCloud's facilities - you can set Mail up manually and there is a hack which some people have used to sync calendars (see below) - you cannot sync any other type of data.
This is the situation with iCloud and Snow Leopard:
Your email, calendars, and 'Find my iPhone' will be migrated to iCloud. Contacts and Bookmarks cannot be migrated from a Snow Leopard Mac.
Your iDisk, together with website hosting and Gallery, will continue to work as before until next June.
Syncing of Dashboard Widgets, Dock Items and Keychains between Macs, and Mail Accounts, Mail Rules, System Preferences, Signatures & Smart Mailboxes between Macs & iOS devices, will cease altogether.
You will be able to access email and calendars on the iCloud website at http://icloud.com provided your browser is reasonably up-to-date.
You will not be able to sync contacts or bookmarks from a pre-Lion Mac.
You will be able to enter the server settings for email manually in the Mail application and access your email.
You will not be able to sync your calendars directly.
Some people have been able to set up calendar syncing by using the method detailed here - this is an unsupported hack and may not be reliable, and may stop working at some future point.  BusyCal is an iCal-like calendar application with extra facilities: it can sync with the iCloud Calendar while running on Leopard, Snow Leopard or Lion.
There appears to be no method of syncing contacts (though Address Book on a Mac can be synced with Google or Yahoo address books - I don't know how reliable this is).

  • Need help, I have an error message "not enough storage"  for icloud and it will not let me do anything

Need help... getting an error message "not enough storage" for icloud and it will not let me get passed the message

    See if this helps.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • Upgrade 3.1- 7.0: internal error Workbook storage fault (read/open)

    Dear all,
after upgrading an 3.1 (SP12) BW-system to BI 7.0 (SP15) the following error occures when we want to open existing BEx workbooks (in the BEx Analyzer 3.x):
    <b><internal error> Workbook storage fault (read/open)</b>
<b>We have found out, that this refers only to those BW workbooks being created in BW 2.x and not modified ever since. Thus this actually seems to be an 2.x->7.0 issue.</b>
Scope of our projekt it not the use of any new BI function, we are just upgrading the system.
Unfortunately some (but not all) workbooks do not run any more now. Checking existing SAPnotes has not helped yet unfortunately.
I saw very similar problems on this forum, if there is a solution, please provide it to us urgently.
    THANKS for helping
    Frank

    Hello Venkat,
thanks for helping. Since I work with SAP_ALL authorization, I do not think this issue is related to missing auth. objects. The error message desribed above is withoutan number-ID, that´s why it is different than those described in the mentioned notes.
It definitely is related with the upgrade, as I can open those "corrupt" workbooks originating from BW 2.x in the productive system (still on BW3.1).
Any more suggestions?? Who remembers the 2.x - 3.x upgrade of BEx workbooks?
    Thanks, Frank

If you have already paid for 20 GB, contact with the iCloud support to go back to 10 GB of storage > http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact

I want to cancel my iCloud upgrade storage in the 45 day period but can't find the Apple contact number?

    It's only a 15 day period, not 45.
If in the US, follow the link below (you must request a refund within 15 days) -
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/16968425#16968425
it gives the USA phone number - if you don't live there you will have to find an equivalent number from the 'Contact Us' link at bottom right of this page.

    Hi karlos16,
For the error message you are seeing, I found this article:
    iCloud: Troubleshooting creating backups
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3992
"This iPhone cannot be backed up because there is not enough iCloud storage available."
This message is displayed when there is not enough storage space available in your iCloud Storage to complete your backup. You can either reduce the amount of data you are backing up under Backup Options, or you can buy more storage.
For the issue with the iPhone appearing to be unresponsive, I recommend this article for troubleshooting:
iPhone, iPad or iPod touch: Not responding or does not turn on

    Cheers!

  • Ipad showing not enough storage in spite of extra storage on iCloud

A couple months ago I upgrade my iCloud storage and a few days ago I reupgraded because I kept getting the message "storage is almost full". But in spite of the reupgrading, I'm still getting that messages on my iPad 3. What do I do? I thought buying the extra storage on iCloud was supposed to resolve all that. This is despite showing that I have 20.3 GB of 25 GB available. Please help!!!!! Most of the space is used up by apps.

The iPad cannot be upgraded in any way.  The storage capacity is all there can ever be on a particular iPad.  The capacity of iCloud is for backup purposes and syncing purposes, it does not function as additional storage space for any devices.
Backing up the iPad assures you that content will not be lost if anything goes wrong such as a catastophic hardware failure.
If you are out of storage space on the iPad you don't have much choice, keeping that iPad, but to remove material and free up space.  You can always backup everything, restore the iPad to new condition, and then restore selectively your material.  Or sell it and buy one with larger storage so you have room for your content.
Probably doesn't sound to good to you but there honestly isn't anything you can do to incrase the capacity of your iPad.

  • Upgraded storage plan not working !!

I recently dowoaded an upgraded storage plan. it says I have 10 GB avaliable but it won't let me download anything because it says my storage is full. How can I fix this and be able to download things?

Purchasing storage in iCloud doesn't give you more space on your phone to download things, it only gives you more space in your iCloud account for your synced data, email and iCloud backups.
If you're out of space on your phone, you have to delete or sync something off of it to free up space for new downloads.

Mmm. I wonder what that 14 MB Camera Roll on my iPad is.
Post a screenshot of what you are seeing.
    picas wrote:
And what about this from the link above:
If you take many photos and videos with your iOS device, you may notice that your Camera Roll takes up most of your iCloud storage. To check the size of the Camera Roll backup on your device:
Next time please include the full text, not just part of it.
Backups are stored in iCloud (if you choose to backup to iCloud instead of your Mac) Photos are not.
If you don't want Backups stored in iCloud backup to your Mac instead.

  • Upgrade Storage & Refund

I upgraded my storage in ICloud 12/23 then found it wasn't enough.  So I upgraded again & asked to remove the initial request.  Does anyone know how or when I'll get reimbursed?

When you upgrade the existing plan (in this case, your original upgrade) is cancelled and you will get a pro-rated refund for that plan based on how long it was in effect.  Might take a few days to see the credit.  You can call the Apple online store at the number at the bottom of this page (1-800-MY-APPLE in the U.S. and Canada) if you want to check the status.

  • Error uploading iCal to iCloud

I am trying to upload my iCal calendars to iCloud. Whenever i do, it says, "Upgrading iCal calendars" then an error message pops up saying, "iCal couldn't move your calendars to iCloud because an error ocurred. Make sure you're connected to the Internet, and then try again." and leaves two options, Try again now, or try again later. Frankly, this has got me stumped because I know for certain I am connected to the internet (Although the error message isn't necessarily an internet connection one).
Also, when I try and make a new calendar in iCloud (File-New Calendar-iCloud) an error message pops up saying "The server responded with an error. https://p12-caldav.icloud.com:443/656497564/principal/ is not a location that supports this request."

Also, when I go to the iCloud settings in system preferences, this is what it shows
and it stays like that indefinitely.
