Hi All,
We have job SWWDHEX running under two different Ids at exactly same time and similar varaint in SAP system:

As you see jobs running Jobs running successfully under User WF-BATCH.
But while BASISBATCH User jobs are failing with error:
u201CVariant &0000000000000 does not existu201D
I checked in jobs which are in released status for both user contains same varaint &0000000000000.
These jobs are running in different clients.
Please let me know reason of this job failure and also let me know is this job client dependent to make sure both runs are necessery for this job.

But while BASISBATCH User jobs are failing with error:
u201CVariant &0000000000000 does not existu201D
This might be related to the fact that it is executed at the same time.
Is it possible to postpone the job in one client by one minute?
Please let me know reason of this job failure and also let me know is this job client dependent to make sure both runs are necessery for this job.
According to available SAP notes this job seems to be client dependent.

In trying to setup ALE within SAP (ECC 5.0) to send a material master IDOC from the ERP to XI. I followed the ALE Quick Start guide and several other resources on the net including IDOC Cookbook and others. When I try to select transaction BD10 (Send Material Master), it returns the following error:

Procedure
Correct the entry.
In trying to narrow down the problem, I created a minimal scenario of just sending the MATMAS IDOC from one client to another on the same system and I get the same error.
My first thought was the logical systems for the two
clients were not setup correctly, but they seem okay. I'm using the 'PRODUCTION' logical system that came with the IDES version we installed (client 811) and trying to send to a new client I setup as logical system VM1CLNT300 (client 300) on the same system.
RFC Destinations test okay, partner profiles, ports, and the distribution model seem okay.
Googling for that error message above produced nothing that I could get an answer from. Any ideas?

Yes, both logical systems are there. Additionally, each
client has been set to the appropriate logical system:
client 811 -> PRODUCTION logical system
client 300 -> VM1CLNT300 logical system

DP Mass Processing error Variant &0000000000322 does not exist

Hi,
When I double click on the process chain which is created already in transaction RSPC, the system displays message Variant &0000000000322 does not exist.
Please help to resolve this issue.

Hi,
Variants starting with & are temporary variants and are not transported from one system to another. So if you have transported your process chain from one system to another, the chances are the temporary variants have not been transported.
So pls change your process chain to use a more permanent variant. You can create permanent variants for mass processing jobs as follows.
Go to SE38, type program name as /sapapo/ts_batch_run. Click on variants and create variants with the relevant info.

When i try to process account statement through FB12 it take me fine but once i go to F.64 and click on the generated request it shoots following error

Diagnosis
You selected variant SAP06 for program RFKORD10.
This variant does not exist.
Procedure

for correspondence variant needs to be assigned to program.
Goto SA38 enter RFKORD10. then maintain variant. click save and rerun f.64.

We are getting following error while click on Career and Job tab on ESS. We checked in Table V_T7XSSSERARB. Entry is maintained.
Critical Error

Transporting Process Chain - error Source system does not exist

Hi,
I tried to transport a local PC by itself (not including its main meta chain) since I have only done modifications in the local PC only. In the PC, there are PSA Processing, ODS Processing, ODS Activation, ABAP Program w/ variants and Infocube Rollup.
However, I got the following transport error: Source system does not exist

Diagnosis
Source system is not known.
System Response
The imported data for DataSource was deleted again because the referenced source system does not exist and no mapping is defined in table RSLOGSYSMAP on an existing productive source system.
Procedure
Create the referenced source system in the Data Warehousing Workbench or define mapping to a known source system in table RSLOGSYSMAP.
You get to maintenance using Tools -> Conversion of the logical system names.

I have checked at the table RSLOGSYSMAP and all source system mappings are in order.
And the weird thing is, upon checking the PC itself in the transport-to box, I can activate it without any error.
FYI, we are currently upgrading to BI Accelerator. Am not sure if this could be one of the reasons.
Any inputs and tips are highly appreciated and will be rewarded with points accordingly.

This error is due to the fact that the
mapping table for the after import (RSLOGSYSMAP) is not correct maintained in PB7 system.
You need to maintain table RSLOGSYSMAP in each system
You can find the steps to do it in the attached note 127326:
o Maintain table 'RSLOGSYSMAP' in the target BW with view
   'V_RSLOGSYSMAP' and enter as 'original source system' the logical name of the source system in the source BW and as 'target source system' the logical name of the source system in the target BW.
   This maintenance is required since it allows the correct source system reference of the InfoSources to be transported.
This source system reference in turn is absolutely necessary to activate the transfer structure.
   Example:
   Source BW with source system AAA.
   Target BW with source system BBB where the source system AAA
   corresponds to the source system BBB.
   Entry in RSLOGSYSMAP in the target BW:
   Original source system: AAA, target source system: BBB.
   Give the DDIC user in the source BW in client 000 the
   authorization profile S_RS_ALL to create BW objects.

User is getting an error message as Variant YAE14 does not exist. Message no. DB612. Variant YAE14 is correctly assinged to the company code and variant and print program is correctly defined in OB77 and OB78 respectively.

Error "Service EMPLOYEE_ORGCHART_SERVICE does not exist." in ESS.

We are on mySAP ERP 2004, and using ESS 60.2 version.
In the "Employee search" workset when I search for an employee it displays his last name, first name, positon, org unit, job, and some other stuff....Every thing is working great except for.........in the results that are dispalyed when a search is performed, I click on the orgunit that a particular employee belongs to, and its throwing me the following error
"Service EMPLOYEE_ORGCHART_SERVICE does not exist".
Has anyone come across this?
Any suggestions on how to fix this is highly appreciated with points.

The links in SAP ESS Applications are built at runtime. The configuration for these links and the complete ESS/MSS Menu has been provided in the IMG in the backend(For ERP 2004). I do not remember the IMG Path. But yes you need to maintain the entries for Orgchart in the following views. Most probably they will be missing.
Check if there is an entry in the following view V_T7XSSSERSRV in your backend client.
Service Short Key - EMPLOYEE_ORGCHART_SERVICE
If its not there then you need to create one entry like this:
Service Link Text    Orgchart
Service Type         WebDynpro application
Link Resource       EMPLOYEE_ORGCHART_SERVICE
Then goto view V_T7XSSSERRES and check if there is a Resource Object Key as EMPLOYEE_ORGCHART_SERVICE.
This entry will have following details if its exists(else create with following details):

Variant are client specific so you have to create the variant in the client your are testing this scenario.
Just make same variant in client and test the scenario.

Layouts - Variant &1 does not exist for version &2 of layout module &3

when i am trying to create IDOC's of type LAYMOD01 using LSMW with IDOC Object type ,there were some IDOC;s failing in SAP With status 51 saying as "Layouts - Variant &1 does not exist for version &2 of layout module &3".
the following below text explain you the error message related to one particular IDOC of type LAYMOD 01 which was failed in sap with status 51 :

Opened a tac and managed to get the resolution of the problem. For those with the same problem reported by me above just follow the procedure below:
1. uninstall existing SRE-V software

2. run sm-hw-util to set sata mode to IDE

I did the following steps to upgrade the OWB repository from 10g to 11g
• Created a dummy workspace in the 11.2 repository
• Created users in the destination environment
• Run Repository Assistant against the 11.1 source database
• Then selected *“Export entire repository to a file”* and selected the MDL(10g) to import
After 99% of completing I have got the below error
Error ACLContainer: 65315 does NOT EXIST in the Object Cache for parentID: 65314

Hi I had the same error and worked on it for almost a week with no success but there is few work around for this try it it might work for you.
Step 1>Run a health check on OWB 10.2 enviroment(make sure you clone your OWB 10.2 enviroment and then do this healthcheck ,these checks are tricky )
