Error when accessing AdfDialogEvent.OUTCOME_CANCEL in af:resource tag

Hi
I'm trying to capture the cancel event on a dialog using java script.
Following is my code

      <af:resource type="javascript">
      function onDialogCEvents(evt) {
          var outcome =evt.getOutcome();
          if (outcome == AdfDialogEvent.OUTCOME_CANCEL) {
              var src=evt.getSource();
              var immediate=true;
              AdfCustomEvent.queue(src,"dialogActionServerH",{},immediate);
              evt.cancel();
      </af:resource>
    </af:document>
I'm getting following error
Protected methods should not be accessed outside of the class
for AdfDialogEvent.OUTCOME_CANCEL
can anyone suggest what could be the issue
