Company code 101 manages parallel currencies in Asset Accounting. For each area that posts automatically online to FI, you have to define one dependent depreciation area that adopts both identical values and depreciation terms from depreciation area 01, and which is assigned to currency type 30 and currency EUR. There is no depreciation area of this type defined for depreciation area 01.

Error AC496 is always related to incomplete customizing of your system.
You got the error message AC496 because your Company Code manages
parallel currencies in Asset Accounting. You must define exactly one
dependent area for each area that is supposed to post automatically
online to reconciliation accounts. You have to define this area to take
over identical values and parameters, and use the currency type xxx,
and currency xxx. The xxx denotes your parameters. In addition please
look at your Company Code in FI Customizing(TA OB22). This Company Code
may be using Parallel currencies. In Asset Management you have to
define a depreciation area for every Parallel currency you use in FI.
This depreciation area(s) must be defined as areas for Parallel
curriencies(TA OAE1: Asset Balance Online as Parallel currency). The
currency of this depreciation area must be the same as the Parallel
currency in the FI(TA OAEC). If you need more information please read
the documentation on the topic: "Asset balance online as Parallel
currency.
Again, make sure you double check the followings very carefully :-
1. Company Code in FI Customizing(TA OB22). This Company Code must
   be using Parallel Currencies.
2. In Asset Management you have to define a depreciation area for
   for every Parallel Currency you use in FI. This depreciation
   area(s) must be defined as areas for Parallel Currency
   (TA OEA1: Asset Balance Online as Parallel currency). The
   currency of this depreciation area must be the same as the

according to this error message AUC has some missing field or some incorrect value. but when i checked via program RAUNVA00 which will display
Incomplete Assets - Detail List.
but this program does not return any incompleteness.
i found many threads and SAP Not but none of is related to my program. this problem comes when i change dates in activity and save the project.
Please suggest what to do now.

Error when acquiring central lock - Urgent

Hi ,
I was trying to access the documents in Collaboration Team room. When i clicked the details of the folders under "documents and Links" room part, i got null pointer exception.
Then i tried analysing the default trace and i could see the logs are getting generated continuously with the below mentioned error. No clue on what it implies..
default trace files are getting filled up very fast and new files are generated.
Errors:
1. error when acquiring central lock (The lifetime can not be the user-session, because currently no user is logged in. Creating locks for the system-user is not allowed
2. com.sapportals.wcm.WcmException##com.sapportals.wcm.WcmException.WcmException(90) Error when acquiring central lock com.sap.engine.services.applocking.exception.AppLockingTechnicalLockException: The lifetime can not be the user-session, because currently no user is logged in. Error when importing Asset Legacy Data

Hi Gurus,
I get an error when I use LSMW and T.Code AS91 to import Asset Legacy Data...
"AS91 S 00 347 Field ANW1-KNAFA . is not an input field".
Is there a way to change that field to input? Currently that field is greyed... If I do manual upload in the foreground, then it gives an warning but creates the Asset, but if we do it automatic in the background it fails.
Can you help me on this.

We are doing a mid year take over and the last depreciation was done in Dec 2006.
I am using LSMW with T.code AS91. Can you let me know where is this "transactional date" that we have to enter.
I have seen that the master data gets uploaded, but with error in the last screen where the deprecitation is inputed, the error that I have explained in my post. Can you help me on that?

CJ02 - Error when closing Message - CJ 824

I am trying to close the project via CJ02, however when i change the status to IM40(Closed to Actual Cost) i am greeted with following error, The AUC is already settled, Don't know what's happing here, Can anyone please advise

The problem was the cost center entered in CJ02 was not in validity period. I have extended the validity period. Issue resolved

Hi All,
My client uses an year dependent fiscal yr variant. I have maintained values for period 2008 and 2009. And generated period controls for the Yr 2009. When I try to create an asset the following error occures
SYST: Error when caclulating fiscal period --> F1
Message no. AA655
Diagnosis
An error occurred while determining the fiscal period 00000000 in period version P1.
Procedure
There are three things which could lead to this error:
1. The period version P1 allocated to the company code has not been created. In this case, you should create the period version.
2. The period version has been created, however the allocation of calendar dates to the fiscal periods has not been correctly performed or in particular with calendar-dependent period versions has not been completely performed. Check whether the date entered 00000000 for period version P1 has been maintained and enter the missing period.
3. The calendar date 00000000 is invalid. This is a system error. Contact your Systems Specialist.
Pls give me a reason and a solution to this.

Please make sure that you are using only one fiscal variant.
It seems to me that your client has two dependent year fiscal variants: One for Accounting 'F1' and one for Fixed Assets P1, but you are only maintaing the accounting one F1. Check that you also have maintained the fiscal varsion P1.
I think that is your problem.

iDVD do not copy Your material - only points to where it is stored. So if on any external hard disks, USB-memories, CDs or DVDs are missing - assetts are broken.
Or if You changed location of any material or directed iPhoto or iTunes or GarageBand to a new Library - Then iMovie/iDVD also get's lost.

Error when closing fiscal year 2010 for fixed assets

I was performing year end close for asset management using TCode AJAB and received an error that one asset has not completed posting depreciation for 2010.
When I looked at the asset that was causing the error I noticed there is still remaining "planned" depreciation for the year 2010. Apparently, there was some subsequent cost added to this asset after December 2010 depreciation was posted.
Can I process depreciation again for December for this one asset? If so, what Tcode would I use?

You have to execute repeat run in AFAB for DEC 2010 and then try to close using AJAB.

i had created entire asset accounting inclient 100 and transaported to client 400 inclueading group asset.
now when i am posting F-90 acquisition asset it is geving following error:
*Asset 6661 600002-0 is incomplete, check the asset

Diagnosis
The 'incomplete' indicator was set for asset 6661 600002-0 because required entries were not made.
System Response
In the standard system, the system rejects the posting to the asset and issues an error message. However, this error message can be changed in Customizing so that it is only a warning. However, if you make this change, you should be aware that it is then possible to post to the asset, although an additional account assignment is missing.
Procedure
Start report RAUNVA00 for the asset, and complete the asset's specifications. Then post the transaction again.*

As said in message run the RAUNVA00 report in SE38 or go to AUVA T.code.
Go to Company Code for which you are facing issue , then go to Levels of completion area select there 1 to 3.
Execute and see your asset no. Then see which fields are incomplete and fill them with proper value in AS02.
Save & Run F-90.

Error when more data are acquired

i'm using usb 6259 to acquire data.
I get error when I try to increase the samples per loop. If I increase the sample rate, I get a new problem, a buffer size must be increased also. I can't edit the buffer size because it's modified automatically in this program, an external buffer block is not allowed.
what should I do ?

Your problem is one of misunderstanding basic arithmetic. If you have a sample rate of 1000 Samples/sec and request 10000 samples, then it's pretty clear that the acquisition is going to take 10 seconds. That is why the error message says to increase the timeout value. If you want 10000 samples, you can lower the number of samples requested and just run the loop x number of times.

Error occurs during Asset Master Record Creation.

The error occurs during asset master record creation.
Our fiscal year variant is Z6 (July to June). The asset was acquired in June 15 (previous fiscal year) but was only set up on July 30 (this fiscal year) . When we put the depreciation start date as 15 June the error appeared. While saving the Asset master we are getting below error.
We tried the same with Post Capitalization of Asset (ABNAN) there also we are getting same error.

have you generated the period controls properly? If not, the error is raised correctly by the system.
To generate period controls go to:
IMG Asset Accounting -> Depreciation -> Valuation Methods -> Period Control -> Generate Period Controls / or you can use OA84

Error when deploying a mapping to Staging in OWB 11gr2

Hi,
I recieve the following error when I try to deploy a simple Source to Stage mapping:
RPE-01012: Cannot deploy PL/SQL maps to this target schema. The target schema must be in the same instance as the Control Center and have the OWB_USER role granted.
I have spent few hours researching it, but have not yet found a solution.
My environment:
DB 11gr2 on Red Hat Linux. (OWB Server is on linux and the same machine as its Repository and the 11gr2 db).
Source is on an Oracle 10.2 DB server in Texas;
Target (Staging env) is in California, also on Oracle 10.2.
I can validate the mapping and the Staging table was deployed sucessfully to the Staging DB.
Do I need to create a repository and workspace on the Target DB (Oracle 10.2) using Repository Assistant? (If that's the case, then would one also need to create OWBSYS?)
Please help.

This is an urgent request. Would appreciate it if someone could point out what I may be doing wrong.
To summarize, my target DB is on Oracle 10.2 in a remote location, so I ran the 3 scripts that OWB Install documents require: Section: Configuring OWB Installed as a Standalone Instance.
Cat_web.sql, reset_owbcc_home.sql, and remote_owb_install.sql.
But, when I run the Repository assistant, I get the error above (asking me to install compatible OWB version.)
Here are the detailed steps:
1. Ran clean_owbsys.sql
2. Ran cat_owb.sql (Against USERS Tablespace)
3. reset_owbcc_home.sql (?? Ora home for Target???)
4. Ran remote_owb_install.sql (??Ora Home for Target???) -- I have tried different combinations, but no difference.
For Repository Assistant, here are the detailed steps:
1. Provide connect info for the remote db (host:Port:Service)
2. Selected "Managed Warehouse Build Workspaces"
3. Selected "Create a new Warehouse Builder Workspace"
4. Select "Create a workspace with an existing user as workspace owner" (Since we have user already defined for this role. Should I create a new one??)
5. Entered Workspace Owner's User Name, Password and created WKS1 as the Workspace.
6. Entered System / and Password to logon
7. Provided Owbsys user id and Password and clicked on Next
8. As soon as I hit Next on the OWBSYS Information screen, I get the error:
"OWB software with the compatible version must be installed locally on the database server machine". If it is installed, acquire the DBA user credentials,
and run the remote_owb_install.sql script on the Oracle Database server machine..."
(I have tried with different paths for the reset_owbcc_home and remote_owb_install scripts)

A 404 errors means the file is not on the server.
Checking the connection is just testing the FTP connection.

No, you don't. The domain file is where iWeb stores its assets. It stays on your computer. It has no meaning outside it. iWeb publishes the index.html file and all the other files.
Read this : The concept of iWeb Sites
So if your pages do not load, check for their presence on the server.

0FIA_DS11:Error when activating DataStore Object

We have activated the datasources related FI_AA and replicated in to a new BI 7 system.
Currently we are able to activate the asset accounting related targets like 0FIAA_C11, 0FIAA_c12 and 0FIAA_C13
however not able to activate DSO's 0FI_DS11, 0FI_DS12 and 0FI_DS13.
We have replicated the datasources 0FI_AA_11 and 0FI_AA_12 in 3.x but while installing the DSO 0FI_DS11 and 0FI_DS12, facing below given error.
" DataSource 80FIA_DS11 does not exist in source system BIDCLNT600 of version A
Error when creating the export DataSource and dependent Objects
Error when activating DataStore Object 0FIA_DS11 "
We have checked the mysource system settings and activated the Data Marts respectively but still we are not able to activate.
System is BI 7 with EHP4 ehanced packege.
Please suggest.
