Error when Activate an DSO data

Hi All,
I can't activate a load of a DSO. When I try to activate it, the following message appears
Request 101.341 is currently being read from data target ZSR_O_01
The problem is the DSO doesn't have any Request in the tab Requests with this Number (101.341).
If I do right click on DSO -> Delete Data, the same message appears.
If I try to Delete data from DSO by Process Chain, The Process Chain fail. With the following messages:
- Request 101.341 is currently being read from data target ZSR_O_01 (same before)
- Lock NOT set for: Deleting Data Completely from an InfoProvider
So, I can't load that into the DSO or Activate it if I do the load mannually.

Once go to SM12 and chk the locks there...
And also chk in RSRQ and give ur request number and execute there and chk the status of the load...whether someone deleted that request from ur ODS
we can't activate an ODS when some data is being read from the same...
so chk whether any load is going on in RSMO for that request..if there u can turn the status to RED and activate the request..
chk in sm37 is there any active job for that reading load is S u have to kill that and acitvate...
what is this infoprovider ZSR_O_01?
is ur ODS data is being updated to this anytime...???

hi,
you have to decline 0LANGU, STTXT(short text), MDTXT(medium text),
LGTXT(long text), and respective key field(primary key) of attribute for
text data source. give the above five info object's in transfer structure for
text data source and activate it.

I solved the problem. AFter changing from PSA to IDOC, i just saved first and activated. it got activated. But thanks for the response.

We are getting the following error in XI. It started on Jan 22 and resolved on Jan 23 automatically. Nothing has been changed and we don't able to understand how problem started and how it resolved:

Error when reading the DDIC-data for table

We upgraded from DMIS 2011 SP04 to SP07. We are in development system.
To test initial load, we stopped replication for an existing table and then started replication for the same table.
Mass transfer id connects ECC system to BW on HANA system.
Replication errored with the following message:
Error when reading the ddic-data for table MARD (RFC destination DWACLNT010).
Looking for your guidance.

here are teh steps:
1) craete source system in BW as say Flat_file
2) go to inforsource --? create inforsource --> right clik on infosource and say assign datasource
3) select flat_file here and say YES
4) then for flat file, trnafer structure mapping has to be done manually. so in trs struc screen ,go to datasource tab and enter your corresponding infoobject.
5) then go to tranfer rule tab and propose the rule.
If it helps, please assign points. In case of doubt, please get back

We are getting this error in production system
"SXMBSysErrorAlerts, Category INTERNAL, Error code: AE_DETAILS_GET_ERROR error text: Error when reading the access data (URL, user, password) for the Adapter Engine".
Please tell what can be the cause of error. Where are the access data (URL, user, password) for the Adapter Engine read from?

ORA-01552 Error when trying to import data

I get the following error when trying to import data into my database. My version is as follows:
Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.6.0 - Production
PL/SQL Release 9.2.0.6.0 - Production
CORE 9.2.0.6.0 Production
TNS for Solaris: Version 9.2.0.6.0 - Production
NLSRTL Version 9.2.0.6.0 - Production
and I get the following error:
ORA-01552: cannot use system rollback segment for non-system tablespace
Any help would be appreciated.
Also when I upgraded my database I received the following error message but continued without fixing:

Hi, i think that the problem is around the rollback segments.The solution is bring other rollback segments ONLINE state, if not exist others rollbackup,then you need create the other rollback segments and bring online state.

The problem occurs during data load from R/3. It was not occuring before. When I go to check the PSA contents I get a runtime error - GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED.
Error analysis
    You attempted to access an unassigned field symbol
    (data segment 32821).
This error may occur if
    - You address a typed field symbol before it has been set with
      ASSIGN
    - You address a field symbol that pointed to the line of an
      internal table that was deleted
    - You address a field symbol that was previously reset using
      UNASSIGN or that pointed to a local field that no
      longer exists
    - You address a global function interface, although the
      respective function module is not active - that is, is
      not in the list of active calls. The list of active calls
      can be taken from this short dump.

Change DSO setting affect the error when activate it

Hi Experts,
My problem is when I change setting for Data Store Object named
0FIAP_O03 to make it automatic activated data by checking the option
for Activate Data Automatically, then I got the short dump screen
saying

The reason for the exception is:
If you use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert to insert a record in
the database and that record already exists with the same key,
this results in a termination.

I have executed program RSDG_ODSO_ACTIVATE and I got the same error as normal activation process.
And I have executed the function module RSDRO_GENERATE_PROGRAMS and I got the error message "No suitable namespace available".
Do you think this may be from Database problem?
Because sometimes I can delete objects in system but sometimes it's not working. I ask the basis guy to check this but don't get the answer yet. I also check DB02 and found not anything alert.

Error when activating Real Time Data Source

I created a generic datasource in R/3 system via RSO2, with the Real-time check box enabled in the settings for Generic Delta. I saved the datasource. Replicated it into BW System.
I tried to activate this Real time Data Source in BW, it says "Error when activating Data Source".
I am on BI 7.0, with PI_BASIS: 2005_1_700.

I suffered an error showed "Exception during activation" when activate a newly created analytic view.
I used two tables, one is NASDAQDAILY, one is NYSEDAILY.
Private attribute are "DATE, STOCK(NYSE.STOCK), STOCK_1(NASDAQ.STOCK"
Measure are "PRICEOPEN(NYSE), PRICEOPEN_1(NASDAQ)"
JOINS are: Left Table-NASDAQ, Left Column-DATE

Validate is sucessfully.

This issue is resolved now.
The problem was with the file system space on the Unix server(on which portal is installed).
The server administrators and the Basis team extended the disk space and issue got resolved.

Error when activate

When I Activate UAG I'm getting the following errors.
Failed to export data from the TMG Storage
Export configuration failed (0xC0040357)
The Activation Monitor is saying it was successfully

THe problem is that UAG cannot contact its TMG (Its firewall). Mostly because the TMG can't connect to the AD.
Can you create a custom rule on TMG that allows access both ways to the AD and test it ?
Also please check if TMG services are all started ?

00933 error when clicking on the data tab for the selected table

Hi,
I'm getting the following error when selecting a table from the tree view then clicking on the data tab:
An error was encountered performing the requested operation:
ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended
00933.00000 - "SQL command not properly ended"

The exact same tables created from sqlplus for a different user in the same database work fine. Note, I'm not typing any SQL in myself. It would appear this happens on all tables created as this user. I cannot see any difference between permissions for this user and others which work but the failing user does have a "-" in the username and password which I'm suspicious of.
This is SQL Developer v 1.2.0 (build 29.98) (the most recent I believe, Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 and Linux ubuntu.

"-" is not allowed in identifiers and is almost certainly the cause of your problem. This can be got round by quoting i.e. using "STUPID-NAME" instead of STUPID-NAME.
I'm slightly surprised that SQLDeveloper doesn't quote the statement. Perhaps it quotes table names but not user names.
