I am getting the following error when activating the master data. when using IDOC as transfer method in transfer rules
<b>Error while creating table 'EDISEGMENT' entry '/BIC/CIRB0CLASS_NUM_TEXT'</b>
If anyone came across this kind of problem plz share the solution.

I solved the problem. AFter changing from PSA to IDOC, i just saved first and activated. it got activated. But thanks for the response.
There are no short dumps in ST22

The problem occurs during data load from R/3. It was not occuring before. When I go to check the PSA contents I get a runtime error - GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED.
Error analysis
    You attempted to access an unassigned field symbol
    (data segment 32821).
This error may occur if
    - You address a typed field symbol before it has been set with
      ASSIGN
    - You address a field symbol that pointed to the line of an
      internal table that was deleted
    - You address a field symbol that was previously reset using
      UNASSIGN or that pointed to a local field that no
      longer exists
    - You address a global function interface, although the
      respective function module is not active - that is, is
      not in the list of active calls. The list of active calls
      can be taken from this short dump.

Error when loading the master data

Hi all,
Can anybody help me out. I am loading the master data from DB Connect source. When i am trying to load it it is giving the runtime error PERFORM_CONFLICT_TAB_TYPE. Can anybody tell me what could be the problem & necessery steps to take.

Error while activating the Master Data InfoSource for attributes

Im trying to load the attributes for master data characteristics .
I created the InfoSource and when im trying to activate it .
Then it gives the following error like below
Diagnosis
An error occurred in the program generation:
Program / Template:   RSTMPL80
Error code / Action: 6
Row:        505
Message:    The data object "P_S_COMM" has no component called
Procedure
If the problem occurred during the data load or transport, activate the transfer rule.
If the problem persists, search in the SAP note system under 'RSAR 245'
So please tell the what is the error and how to resolve this issue.
And pls give the error 'RSAR 245' message from SAP note system.

1. Error code: 6
a) 'Obsolete' communication structure:
            Due to an optimization algorithm, pressing the 'Generating button' does not have any affect on the communication structure. Therefore, use the following workaround:
Select 'Communication structure' -> 'Change'.
Add any InfoObject (for example, '0MATERIAL') to the communication structure -> 'ENTER'.
Communication structure ---> 'Save'
Selet the InfoObject you inserted and delete it.
Communication structure ---> 'Save'
Communication structure -> 'Generate'.
a) Message: <table name> is already declared. Check whether the local part of your routines contains TABLE statements. TABLE statements always have global validity and should therefore be in the global part of the routine.
b) If the error occurs when data is being loaded, the transfer rule should be generated using RSA1.
In many cases, generating transfer rules using RSA1 results in a detailed error message.
2. Error code:
           Program to be generated is locked by parallel process.
This error can sporadically occur if parallel processes simultaneously try to generate the same program.
Unfortunately, you cannot completely prevent the error from occurring since these types of lock situations can still crop up during data loading in parallel processes. We are currently working on improving system stability relating to lock situations during the load task.
Reloading usually works without any problems.

Hello,
I have copied data element dats and created a z data element for myself and added the text description.
Am getting following error.Please guide me for the same-
Check data element ZDATS1 (C04EAPHALES/15.01.10/16:37)
Medium key word in language DE: length 18 > maximum length 10
Data element ZDATS1 is inconsistent
Please help me resolve the issue.

Hi,
It won't take from domain it always takes from data element... data element only stores the semantic information... Try to change the domain description to someother and then activate both domain and dataelement...and also table and then see...It will take from data element only.

We are getting the following error in XI. It started on Jan 22 and resolved on Jan 23 automatically. Nothing has been changed and we don't able to understand how problem started and how it resolved:

Error when reading the DDIC-data for table

We upgraded from DMIS 2011 SP04 to SP07. We are in development system.
To test initial load, we stopped replication for an existing table and then started replication for the same table.
Mass transfer id connects ECC system to BW on HANA system.
Replication errored with the following message:
Error when reading the ddic-data for table MARD (RFC destination DWACLNT010).
Looking for your guidance.

I am getting an error when transfering the text data thru flat files .
It is asking " No transfer structure available for the source system ," and saying that 0langu is not assigned to source syatem.I am working on 3.5.

here are teh steps:
1) craete source system in BW as say Flat_file
2) go to inforsource --? create inforsource --> right clik on infosource and say assign datasource
3) select flat_file here and say YES
4) then for flat file, trnafer structure mapping has to be done manually. so in trs struc screen ,go to datasource tab and enter your corresponding infoobject.
5) then go to tranfer rule tab and propose the rule.
If it helps, please assign points. In case of doubt, please get back

hi,
you have to decline 0LANGU, STTXT(short text), MDTXT(medium text),
LGTXT(long text), and respective key field(primary key) of attribute for
text data source. give the above five info object's in transfer structure for
text data source and activate it.

"SXMBSysErrorAlerts, Category INTERNAL, Error code: AE_DETAILS_GET_ERROR error text: Error when reading the access data (URL, user, password) for the Adapter Engine".
Please tell what can be the cause of error. Where are the access data (URL, user, password) for the Adapter Engine read from?

Hi Naveen,
Check the Source System connection and Run program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIAVATE_ALL in SE38 and give your Source system ID and Infosource. If you have infosource. or replicate your datasource.
and also Check the BW self System whether it is active or not. then try activating DSO

Error when activating Real Time Data Source

Hi..
I created a generic datasource in R/3 system via RSO2, with the Real-time check box enabled in the settings for Generic Delta. I saved the datasource. Replicated it into BW System.
I tried to activate this Real time Data Source in BW, it says "Error when activating Data Source".
I am on BI 7.0, with PI_BASIS: 2005_1_700.
Please let me know if you need any further information.

'Overlapping Time Intervals' error while loading the Master Data

Guys,
          Need you help with this. I am trying to load the Master Data (attribute) for InfoObject 0FMD_FRSITM using DTP from DataSource 0FMD_FRSITM_ATTR and am getting an error 'Overlapping Time Intervals'.
This is happening due to overlapping Valid From/Valid To date's for the same Financial Statement Item (0FMD_FRSITM) with different Editions.
If I select the option 'Ignore Duplicate Records' while loading the data, it is successful. But not all the records are loads and Editions are missing.
Below is an example of how the data looks like.
FRSITM         Valid To                  Valid From                 Edition
1001             12/31/9999             04/01/2010                2010.1.1
1001             01/31/2010             03/01/2010                2010.1.2
1001             12/31/9999             02/01/2010                2010.1.3
In the above scenario, the Valid To Data for record 1 and record 3 is the same (12/31/9999) and the record 3 is being ignore when I select the option 'Ignore Duplicate Records'.
And also I see that the Edition is not the Key Field.
Any suggestions or ideas? Appreciate your help.

1. While selecting ignore duplicate, make sure to-date is not part of symantic key.
2. if system comes across two same records it picks up the latest one.
3. It shall merge the timelines is overlap is found.
4. I hope Edition is time dependent attribute
I believe infoobjet key is FRSITM Valid To.
In your case because first record has more period and may be the latets record system ignore the earlier one with the same time interval.
have a look at Q table and you shall be able to figure out for your self.

When i am trying to load the master data into a hierarchy, it is showing me the following error.
"Invalid Entry, hierarchy xxxxxx does not exist".

Have you created a hierarchy, I mean go to Transfer structure->Hierarchy structure
->create hierarchy, put a check of whether it is sorted or time dependent etc. after that while loading data through infopackage just check that you have selected an appropriate hierarchy name in hierarchy selection tab.
