#Error When Attempting to Capture User Response in Blank Cell
Hi All,
I'm fairly new to WebI but currently trying to fix an issue on one of our reports.
Basically, at the top of the report, we have the following text "Closed Between 22/11/11 and 23/12/11" which should pick up the date values based on the entries which the user makes.
The Dates are based on a dimension called "Actual Closed Date" and the user will enter a "Actual Closed Date (start)" and "Actual Closed Date (End)" parameter.
This is the formula which we are currently using to attempt to capture this:

Could someone please advise on where this might be going wrong?

or if you want to add ToDate function then use below formula.

Capturing user response based on radio button
I am trying to capture user response based on yes or no reply to a required radio button. If they answer yes, they need to provide details. The radio button values are N and Y, nothing listed under item, the captions are turned off. I used the LiveCyclePopUp.pdf sample by George Kaiser as a go-by and modified for my radio button/text field name and added the visible/invisible, but no luck.
Here is what I'm trying, but it's not working, nothing happens when I click either yes or no, am using javascript.
Once this is working right, if possible, I would like to add to my submit button a double check to make sure if this radio button answer is Y and the text box is null, go back and provide the answer, but the most important part is to get this part working. Any ideas what I'm missing? Thank you!

Firstly, the syntax is JavaScript, so when setting the Response25AY, you would need to include .rawValue:
Use of quotation marks within the script will give a syntax error (around the YES).
A small note: I would not duplicate the question as a default value. It does not really add value.
So this should be closer:
Response25AY.rawValue = xfa.host.response("Please enter YES details (date, injury details, corrective action) below", "Q25A YES DETAILS");
Can you check the relative reference from the radio button group to the Response25AY object. It may be that the reference in the script is not full enough and is incomplete.
Also I would place this script in the click event of the radio button exclusion group.
Lastly, check the JavaScript Console (Control+J) when previewing the form, for errors.

Error message: "Attempt to capture video without a video device selected."
When trying to log and capture, I'm receiving the following error message: "Attempt to capture video without a video device selected. Please select a video device in your capture presents and try again."
In Capture Presents under DV NTSC 48 kHz it says "WARNING: Video Device DV Video is missing."
An attempt to edit the Capture Preset gives me QuickTime Video Setting Digitzer options of only "[missing] DV Video."
This happened only after I upgraded to Tiger. I know Log and Capture is recognizing the camera because it's showing the timecodes, but not the image. Any help would be most appreciated.This reminds me of a problem with the QuickTime install. Try this - remove all the QuickTime associated .pkg files from /Library/Receipts, then go to http://www.quicktime.com and download the full installer and do a complete install.

Since updating to Acrobat 11.0.7, the electronic signature function has broken. Users receive an error message when trying to insert an electronic signature "There was an error when attempting to commit this signature. The document was not saved. The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder. The document could not be signed. HFT error. This file is already open or in use by another application."
Error occurs even after saving the PDF locally and renaming. This issue is affecting multiple users and has never occurred in previous versions of Acrobat installed. Temporary workaround is to rollback users to Acrobat 11.0.6.Can you try to manually download and install the update from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5000

Charles P.: That is correct it is a free license but your account has to be associated with one license and yes the Digital edition is a ebook reader that our ebooks use for you to viewWell, just for the halibut I tried opening the book again today and , GLORY BE!, it worked.
Guess it may have taken overnight for Adobe to OK my license to their free ADE software. Also works now using Bluefire app as the reader on my android phone, although it was a pain
to get the book file in the right file folder for bluefire to see it.
I hope that time also heels the issue with all other Error Getting License users.

FRM-40501 Error When Attempting To Change Check Box Value
I am getting a FRM-40501 error when attempting to update/change a check box value. There are a few factors in my form setup that could be the problem, I will list them below:
My initial problem was that my INSERT statement would not trigger to fire (based on an IF statement) when my check box value was not initially set to the value of 'Y', even though the initial value was set to 'Y' in the property palette (value when checked was set to 'Y' and value when unchecked was set to 'N'). So, to remedy this I placed a specific literal select of 'Y' and aliased it back to the name of my check box name in the data block query, like: SELECT 'Y' CB_SELECT_SCHOOL FROM user_schools. Then I changed the check box to a database item (value to Yes when it was No before my "SQL select cheat" in the data block query). This made the initial value 'Y' and satisfied my IF statement before my INSERT statement in my trigger. However, now I can not update the check box item.
Does anyone know a better way to satisfy the initial value of my check box to 'Y', even though in the initial value parameter for my checkbox is set to 'Y' and forms is not really setting the initial value (when the check box is not set to a database item)?

KyleI have fixed my issue.
I have reverted the check box to not be a database item, removed the "SQL cheat" of selecting 'Y' aliasing my checkbox name in the datablock SQL, and changed the initial value of 'N' in the check box property palette. This will force a change by the user making the check box value of 'Y', satifying my insert when-button-pressed trigger to fire and update the selected row. -
Sense Code 0X00023A02 error when attempting to burn RW
Hello. I am recieving this error when attempting to burn from to a DVD-RW or a DVD+RW. I know the first thing that is going to be mentioned is additional software such as on the "things to avoid" list when burning DVD's, however, I have all versions of Encore that have been produced, so I simply uninstalled 2.0 which was giving me the error code, and installed 1.5 and was able to burn a project with the same exact disc. I uninstalled no other software and did nothing else, besides rebooted, which I always do when I install and uninstall my applications. Therefore my thinking is that it is within Encore. It also with another RW in 2.0 states that it cannot erase the disc even if I do not have auto erase selected, and the disc was previously erased with Nero. I am actually sort of angry because I purchased a new burner to test out this error that I was recieving, and while I can indeed return the burner, I noticed others are being advised to check other software they have on their system. I have none of the software listed on the detrimental applications that may interfere with the burning process and I also now have (2) less than a year old burners along with a "not soo inexpensive" application that in essence does not work in a way I need it to. Yes, I can uninstall 2.0 and simply use 1.5, but I should not have to do this. And though I know this is not going to be answered by Adobe techs, please take note that the burn "Does complete without error simply by uninstalling 2.0 and installing 1.5 and creating the same exact project with the same source files". Therefore there is something within 2.0 causing these errors.
DamonNeil and Jeff, thanks for the response. I am running a 965P chipset board and my PATA is connected via the JMicron controller, so my drive do not appear this way. It only shows the General, AutoPlay, Hardware and Sharing tabs. This is something that is an issue with this chipset from what I am being told. However, if this were the case(and god no man, no roxio installed on the system), shouldn't it be interfering with 1.5 burning the project also? This is why I am soo set it being 2.0 since 1.5 burned the project with no issue whatsoever. It's only in 2.0 that it is stating this error with the +RW or with the -RW it is stating that the disc cannot be erased. I understand completely what you all are saying, but I honestly do not believe this is the issue since one version of Encore will work and the other will not, unless something has changed in Encore 2.0. I understand that it was pretty much re-written(I was on the beta myself), but at that point, I never needed to use RW's, so I did not test with them, otherwise I would have reported it.
I cannot even get into the drive for recording via the Device Manager, so changing this option is not a possiblity. It is unfortunate that from what I have seen only one mfg makes a SATA dvd burner, and from what I have read, it isn't that great of one.
I am just at this point lost and wondering if I should simply return the burner I purchased and buy an external USB 2.0 unit and see if it works with that. What do you all think? -

Only related SDN post is following, but solved by changing permissions for saposcol.
Only related SAP Note is SAP Note Number 597743 "DB02: Poor entries for critical objects list", but not applicable for current SAP version.
For me strange is that this issue occurs on the development system, but not on the acceptance and production system.

This error occurs due a corruption in the table MONI.
For solving this issue you need to clean the records of this table via the following path :
1. Call transaction ST03
2. With GOTO -> Performance database -> Content of database
3. Push button Delete data group
4. Enter ID DB
5. Continue
6. Confirm the delete
If you wish to backup the data before deleting the entry please follow the steps in the note 1000275 "DB02: history data backup procedure".

Hi All - After the upgrade, I am getting SP-Crawl Error for certain links. I check the Crawl component has proper permission.
Google is showing some article like

Encountered an error when attempting to open Lightroom for the first time. Went to Lightroom Help and searched for the error "An error occurred when attempting to change modules". Non of the solutions helped. What now?
I am getting this error message as well. I have just downloaded Lightroom recently. I try to click on Lightroom / preferences....and nothing happens. I tried to uninstall and it is greyed out so I can't do that either. Suggestions? Please help?

SharePoint Online switching to mobile view when attempting to add user permissions

I am having a very weird problem that just started out of no where. It happens when I go to the Site Settings of my site collection and click on Site Permissions. When I click Grant Permissions to try to add users, the browser will immediately switch to
the mobile view.
I am able to switch back to the regular browser view, then when I click Grant Permissions, the box to select the user opens. I then choose the user and click Share. After clicking Share, the popup immediately goes to the mobile view. When I exit that the
users were never granted permissions.
This only happens so far when I am trying to add permissions. Is there something that I could have messed up?
What is happening and how can I fix this? I am out of ideas and unable to add permissions for users. I do not want to have to blow this site collection away.

According to your description, my understanding is that the page would switch to mobile view when attempting to add user permissions in SharePoint Online.
I recommend to verify the things below:
Clear the caches in browser to see if the issue still occurs.
Test the same scenario in another computer to see if the issue still occurs.
Append mobile=0 to the URLs in SharePoint Online.

Problems converting PDF to MS Word document. I successfully converted 4 files and now subsequent files generate a "conversion failure" error when attempting to convert the file. I have a large manuscript and I separated each chapter to assist with the conversion; like I said, first 4 parts no problem, then conversion failure. I attempted to convert the entire document and same result. I specifically purchased the export to Word feature. Please assist. I initially had to export the Word Perfect document into PDF and attempting to go from PDF to MS Word.

I'm sorry to hear your conversion process has stalled. It sounds as though the problem isn't specific to one file, as you've been unable to convert anything since the first four chapters converted successfully.
So, let's try this:
If you're converting via the ExportPDF website, please log out, clear the browser cache, and then log back in. If you're using Reader, please choose Help > Check for Updates to make sure that you have the most current version installed.

I get the 'Generic Error' when attempting to import .mov files with transparency? I'm trying to use mattes with an alpha channel but I cannot import them. I have had this same issue since cs6, now I have it with cc 2014? Any clues would be most appreciated.
I have uninstalled the DVCPro Codec, but it didn't help.
I have tried converting the .mov file (which is now automatic in Yosemite) and this creates a ProRes4444 Codec, Again no luck with import.

I tried iPhoto Library Manager but it could not solve my problem. Opening the iPhoto library I can see that the reference to the pictures are pointing to my old location not to the new one. I considered running a script that would change all pointers since this is basically what is needed (in my case from /Volumes/RAID1/Fotos/XXX to /Volumes/Fotos/XXX). Instead I inserted a soft unix link to make to connection but that did not work. It is referring to the airport disk by the airport name rather than the mounted disk name. Very strange indeed. The problem is maybe not in iPhoto but in OSX? Anyway, maybe the only way out is to take some hours and manually run through all linked photos... cumbersome and annoying!

500 internal server error when trying to create users
I am getting a 500 internal server error when trying to create users. What is the cause? We tried reinstalling the latest java jdk release and that didn't help.
Check whether your DBControl or ASControl service is still running or crashed. EM is not able to connect to the Management Server.
For instance in Windows, you may see that the Servise is not started. Then check for error logs in $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/logs for any related error messages in the log files -
