Error when clicking on template properties

When I go to some pages of the same template style and click
on template properties I get the following error:
"The template that you're trying to apply does not allow
changes outside the <html> tag. This document contains code
outside the <html> tag, which will be lost by applying the
template."
I originally received this error on all templates. After
uninstalling and reinstalling it worked for some templates, but not
others. I uninstalled and reinstalled again, but I still get this
error.

Yeah I finally had to call Adobe and some there did a screen share with me and they took care of it. I am running OSX 10.9.3 my issue was that the latex OSX update didn't communicate with the app. Like I said Adobe did a screen share with me and fixed it for me I think he just uninstalled and reinstalled and I want to say thats what took care of it.

This sounds like a postback issue. Does your application handle postback by putting the report in session?

Javascript preferences error when clicking insert

i tried looking around on the net however no solution i could see for this.

Unzip the CrossSiteLookupField.zip file to extract SPSolutions.SharePoint.CrossSiteLookupField.wsp file. There should be a install.bat file in the zip file. You can run it using command prompt. If you do not have an install file, you can either use
Powershell commands or stsadm to install this feature.
Here are the steps to install the feature using stsadm (I don't have a SharePoint VM near by. So commands should be simillar to the below ones)
Open command prompt with elevated privileges
Navigate to the folder where the SPSolutions.SharePoint.CrossSiteLookupField.wsp is extracted
Execute the following commands: "%CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\14\BIN\stsadm.exe" -o addsolution -filename SPSolutions.SharePoint.CrossSiteLookupField.wsp

Java Script Errors when clicking on several opened documents

All of a sudden I started having problems shutting down
Dreamweaver MX 6.1
Later , when I open two or more documents I get an error when
I click on the document in the background.
A series of dialog boxes come after eachother and say the
following:
1. While executing Browse_back enabled in toolbars.xml, a
java script error occurred
2. While executing Browse_back enabled in toolbars.xml, a
java script error occurred
3. While executing Browse_forwrad enabled in toolbars.xml, a
java script error occurred
4. While executing Browse_stop enabled in toolbars.xml, a
java script error occurred
5. While executing get current value in AddressURL.htm
enabled in toolbars.xml, a java script error occurred
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times
and it did not help. I have also installed Dreamweaver MX 6.1
updaters with no change.

You can try this simple fix -
Quit DW.
Find this folder -
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
8\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat
(these folders are normally hidden - you may have to use
Explorer > Tools >
Folder Options to unhide them)
or on Mac -
Library/Application Support/Macromedia/Dreamweaver
8/Configuration/MacFileCache-*.dat
and delete it.
Restart DW. Works better?

Adding an item to a List when clicking a WebPart Properties 'OK' button

Hi all,
I wonder if someone can help me. Im new to SharePoint Programming but learning slowly.
I have a superb Web Part downloaded from Codeplex which essentially is a Countdown Timer in jQuery. (spCountdown) The code itself works perfectly however I want to tweak it, in what I thought would be a relatively easy thing to do.
In the Web Part properties of the solution, there is a textbox where you enter the Date/Time which you wish to set the countdown timer. When I click 'OK' to submit the WebPart, I would like the date value in the textbox to be added to a List as a new List
item. I've got the code to add the List item (or what im think is the correct code) but what I cant do is get the function to execute when the WebPart 'OK' button is clicked.
Now, I have downloaded the source code which is available but I cant fathom how to hook the 'Update List Item' code onto the onclick event of the button (as I cant find an onclick event!). Any help to advise me what to do would be appreciated.

Why do I get an error when clicking on topics in email?

I subscribe to the forum posts that I create and by doing so I get an email when the thread has been updated. The email contains a link to the message thread but when I click I got an Apple.com webpage saying "An error has occurred". Does anyone else have this problem? How do you fix it?

00933 error when clicking on the data tab for the selected table

Hi,
I'm getting the following error when selecting a table from the tree view then clicking on the data tab:
An error was encountered performing the requested operation:
ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended

The exact same tables created from sqlplus for a different user in the same database work fine. Note, I'm not typing any SQL in myself. It would appear this happens on all tables created as this user. I cannot see any difference between permissions for this user and others which work but the failing user does have a "-" in the username and password which I'm suspicious of.
This is SQL Developer v 1.2.0 (build 29.98) (the most recent I believe, Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 and Linux ubuntu.

"-" is not allowed in identifiers and is almost certainly the cause of your problem. This can be got round by quoting i.e. using "STUPID-NAME" instead of STUPID-NAME.
I'm slightly surprised that SQLDeveloper doesn't quote the statement. Perhaps it quotes table names but not user names.

Error when clicking on EDIT button on CCM 2.0

Hi Experts,
we are experiencing lot of errors when we click on the "EDIT" or any other button on CCM of a CATALOG.
The Error message we are getting is "Errors while reading catalogs,errors while reading master catalog".
When we check the Display logs for the catalog, we are having these two error messages
"Error when generating catalog SRM 200"
"Error when creating the catalog. "
Can anyone provide us with a solution on this and pls tell us which SAP program runs for the catalog.

Hi,
You mean you want to execute the template even after this design time error. If yes then you can simply go to the backend and Transaction "SE38" then in the next screen type "RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN_70" and then in the next screen type your template name ans then press "Execute" button to see temlate in Java Web.

Error when click workset

Hello everyone ,
I am familiar with create iview, page, workset, role .
And I had create an Web with Portal.
But there is error occured,I create two new worksets,
and I had assign pages to them, the pages can be preview
normally as part of workset, but it will occure error when I click the two worksets in forntend.
And I had inspect the property setting and permssion of two workset, and there is no problem.
Is there anybody met the same problem ever?
If there are some experts know the reason and the solution to the problem ,please give me directions.

Error when using the template installer MI post installation process

Hi all,
I am busy to configure the Netweaver Administrator in order to create setup packages for mobile devices. This is a WAS 6.40 ABAP JAVA instance with mobile infrastructure.
I have installed the netweaver SR1 and upgraded abap and java to SPS18 afterwards.
Afterwards I used the template installer, I executed: MI post installation process.
But when I did this an error message occured on the following node:

Here after I followed manual: MI25 SPS18 inst newtech.pdf for configuring the NWA.
I checked the complete manual, but still the error message occurs, when I am using the template installer.
There is one more thing.
When I go to the NWA, to the Mobile Infrastructure node, allmost all subnodes give me the following error:

Does this error message relate to the other error message?
Please give me advise/hints/directions to solve this problem....

ORA-06502 error when clicked on Lines tab in Oracle Service Contracts

When i query for some contracts and click on Lines Tab,i get ORA-06502 error.
This is not happenning with all contracts.My ICX: Numeric Characters profile is set to 10.000,00 but the user who created the contracts which were showing error message has ICX: Numeric Characters profile set to 10,000.00.
If i change my profile option to this users profile option,then i am not getting error in these contracts but getting error when trying to view the contracts which were created by other users who's ICX: Numeric Characters profile is different from mine.
Plz let me know how can i resolve this issue.

CRS Home is indicative of having Oracle clusterware installed. Is this a RAC cluster? Are you running on ASM? How many nodes? etc.
