Error when creating Pool Connection
"Hi,
I have reviewed a lot of postings for this type of error and nothing mentioned in replies have helped me to get over this issue.
I am trying to create a pool via the admin console in WL6.0sp1. Using Oracle Thin driver. The config information is as follows:

driver classname: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

Initial Capacity: 1
Max Capacity: 2

actually, no, the thin driver reacts badly to being told a server. It tries to
become the type-2 driver and use the Oracle OCI stuff. If the customer can
make a standalone program connect to the DBMS with that driver and URL,
then maybe they need to alter the classpath of the server to have that
driver come before any weblogic stuff. We ship an older version of the
driver, and that may be being used because it's ahead in the classpath.

Financial Reporting Error when creating grid/connecting to database
Hi,
This is new installation of EMP 11.1.1.2 and we are having issues with FR studio. We can open the studio and create a new report, but when trying to insert a grid we get following error:
"DatasourceIDLogin.LoadDatasourceNames Error: -2147467259 Error Loading DatasourceList to Repository" from which I cannot get out, I have to shut down FR Studio.
The only entry in the host file on the client machine I have is for localhost. If I try to add FR server host I get following error:
"You are not authorized to use this functionality. Contact your administrator"
Any help i.e. if I need to perform any configuration tasks on the client machine, changes in host files, changes on servers, etc will be very appreciated.
Thank you.Hi,
Does this prob occur in specific environment or all the three?
You need to make sure that your print server,web server and report server are configured properly.
Try to ping each of them and if still the problem persists make an entry in your host file of these servers with their complete names.
Thanks. -
Error on DS creation (ResourceException: Could not create pool connection)
Hi,
When trying to create a DS on a WLS 10.3 on Windows Vista to connect to an Oracle 10.2.0.4 RAC database, I am getting the exception below. I use the OCI driver. Everything's fine when I use the thin driver though.

Thanks and Best Regards,
WidiHi Mustafa,
Yes, we are able to resolve the issue.
This issue happen because we change the configuration in
System Admin -> System Configuration -> Portal Content -> Systemlandscape -> (your system landscape)
- Display = Object
- Property Category = User Management
- Authentication Ticket Type = SAP Assertion TIcket
- Logon Method = SAPLOGONTICKET
- User Mapping type = admin,user
After we change this configuration, our we can connect with our Xcelcius to SAP BW.
Please kindly check your User Management configuration.

Got Error when creating application server connection
Hi Guys...I am using SOA 10.1.3.1.0
I got the following error when creating application server connection
In Step 1:
I selected the Connection type as Standalone OC4J 10.1.3 (Why because I use this one)
In Step 2:
In this step I gave username and password (same username and password to connect to BPEL console)to authenticate connection
In step 3:
It is asking for Hostname, RMI port and URL path. My computer name is gopal-computer. I gave this hostname. RMI port number is 23791 by default. I kept this one as it is and URL path optional I think. I did not give any thing.
In step 4:
When I hit the test connection button its giving the following error
Error while getting remote MBeanServer for url: ormi://gopal-computer:23791/default:
Error reading application-client descriptor: Error communicating with server: Connection refused: connect; nested exception is:
javax.naming.CommunicationException: Connection refused: connect [Root exception is java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect]
Please help me.
Thanks,
Gopal.....For SOA Suite connection you should choose "Oracle application server 10g 10.1.3"

Error While Creating Informix Connection Pool
Hi,
I am trying to port an application from Weblogic 6.1 to Weblogic 8.1. The Application accesses Informix database. I used the following driver, url and properties while connecting to this database using Weblogic 6.1
url:->jdbc:weblogic:informix4:snss_live
Driver ClassName :-> weblogic.jdbc.informix.InformixDriver
Properties :->
port=22000
user=snssadmn
password=snssadmn
server=10.115.26.40
The above used to work fine with weblogic 6.1
With Weblogic 8.1, I am using the following properties
url :-> jdbc:bea:informix://10.115.26.40:22000;informixServer=10.115.26.40;databaseName=snss_live
Driver ClassName :-> weblogic.jdbc.informix.InformixDriver
Properties :->
informixServer=10.115.26.40
user=snssadmn
portNumber=22000
databaseName=snss_live
serverName=10.115.26.40
However using these properties I am getting the following error while deploying the Connection Pool to the Managed Server
<Dec 29, 2004 12:26:53 PM EST> <Warning> <JDBC> <BEA-001129> <Received exception while creating connection for pool "Btv_Vms_Pool": [BEA][Informix JDBC Driver][Informix]INFORMIXSERVER does not match either DBSERVERNAME or DBSERVERALIASES.>

The DBMS driver exception was: [BEA][Informix JDBC Driver][Informix]INFORMIXSERVER does not match either DBSERVERNAME or DBSERVERALIASES..>
Any idea as to why this is happening
Regards
Nitin NairHi. I suspect that the databaseName property is causing the problem in
8.1. Remove it and see if that works. Also, try running:
java utils.dbping, and giving it the properties it asks for, for your
Informix connection. Once it succeeds in making a connection, it will
print out the URL and properties it used. Then define the pool with
those (and only those) properties and URL.

You are running the Examples application shipped with WLS, which I guest
the
correct DB to connect with is Cloudscape yet to Oracle, unless you make
changes to the original ConnectionPool in the examples. Anyhow, please
show
us your configuration of the ConnectionPool used when this error pops.

Can you show the XML file for the DataSource? It's in the domain's

sathyaHi Sathya
The following line in your log tells you what is wrong:
ORA-01654: unable to extend index SAPSR3DB.SYS_C004057 by 128 in tablespace PSAPSR3DB
This is a configuration that you or the dba people need to do. The first thing I would check is if autoextend is on/off on your tablespace PSAPSR3DB. If it's 'off' you either need to put it to 'on' or manually extend the size of your tablespace depending on how much harddrvive space you have to play with. Here is a more detailed solution on how to do it:
Oracle Error : ORA-01654: unable to extend index string.string by string in tablespace string
Cause: Failed to allocate an extent of the required number of blocks for an index segment in the tablespace indicated.
Action: Use ALTER TABLESPACE ADD DATAFILE statement to add one or more files to the tablespace indicated.

Error when creating a FDM application on SQL Server 2005
Hi,
we are getting this error when creating a FDM application on SQL Server 2005
Error: EPMCSS-07003: Failed to validate identity. Invalid identity . Check identity.[SET_ROLES_LIST]
We are using Windows System Integration although we have also tested with sa user.
Any ideas?
ThanksBased on the error message it appears to be having a Shared Services issue. Verify that the "ADMIN" account is being used for the HSS connection and that you are using "ADMIN" to create the application and see if the same error is returned.

Getting Error when trying to connect to the Primavera database. PPM V7 SP3
Hi Guys,
Caused by: org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'mailService' defined in class path resource [com/primavera/bre//com/primavera/bre/integration/intgconf.xml]: Invalid destruction signature; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.support.BeanDefinitionValidationException: Couldn't find a destroy method named 'destroy' on bean with name 'mailService'
I have looked into the intgserver.jar under P6IntegrationAPI/lib and looked the com.primavera.infr.srvcs.MailServiceImpl.java and can see that there is no destroy method whereas it is defined in the com.primavera.bre.intergration.intgconf.xml as below
<!-- provides mail services -->
<bean id="mailService" class="com.primavera.infr.srvcs.MailServiceImpl" init-method="init" scope="singleton" destroy-method="destroy"*+>
<property name="adminManager"><ref bean="adminManager"/></property>
<property name="threadPool"><ref bean="threadPool"/></property>
<property name="settingsManager"><ref bean="settingsManager"/></property>
</bean>
I get the above error when trying to connect to the Primavera database. I use PPMV7 SP3 and I have installed the Integration API from EPPMV7 bundle.
My demo's are working fine.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kajal.Hi Marc,
I am using a userid (is an admin)
Using global login method and provided userid & password in integration settings.
In the machine profiles, provided userid, password and domin.
Not providing domain in weblogin.
With all the above I am still getting error "Could not authenticate the specified user. %0" for HFM application
And with the same settings I am not getting any error to connect to essbase cube.
Any suggestions?
