"The Network Adapter could not establish the connection"
did you create db connection and test it?
There is an another way to deploy (tunneling).
create prod domain, you may have to extend your domain to include adf libraries.
start admin server
goto, wl (http://<ip>:<port>/console) console create datasource
enable tunneling under server's protocol tab
create an app. server connection (View menu Application Server Navigator) in jdev
right-click on your app. goto Deploy - application name - to - new connection
run the jspx in the browser (http://<ip>:<port>/appname-ViewController-context-root/faces/jsfpagename.jspx)

  • Error when deploying a map

hello i have the following error when deploying a map in a local database, the mapping is a simple transfert of data between two table,

    any help please
    thanks,
    tarek

Hello thank u for helping, i have exactly the same problème in Error executing a query using a DB-Link
but i am not inderstanding the solution, i found the same probleme in metalink, and the solution posted is:
    1. Create an errorstack of the ORA-1882 to see the ALTER SESSION SET TIME_ZONE statement that is causing the ORA-1882 during deployment. To create this errorstack, follow step 1 to 4 below:
    1. Just before you reproduce the error, open a SQL*Plus session with user SYSTEM.
SQL> alter system set events '1882 trace name ERRORSTACK level 3'
    2. Deploy the mapping to reproduce the ORA-1882
    3. Disable the system event
    SQL> alter system set events '1882 trace name errorstack off';
    4. Take a look at the errorstack (located in the udump directory). Suppose the following statement is in there:
    ALTER SESSION SET TIME_ZONE = 'GMT+02:00'
    2. Modify the run_service.sh(.bat) file as follow:
    * For UNIX:
    Modify owb_server_home/owb/bin/unix/run_service.sh as follows:
Add the parameter -Duser.timezone="+02:00" to the line where java is started (last line of run_service.sh)
    $JAVAPATH/bin/java -Xmx768M -Djava.awt.headless=true -DORACLE_HOME.....
    e.g:
    $JAVAPATH/bin/java -Xmx768M -Duser.timezone="+02:00" -Djava.awt.headless=true -DORACLE_HOME
    * For Windows:`
    Modify owb_server_home\owb\bin\win32\run_service.bat as follows:
Add the parameter -Duser.timezone="+02:00" to the line where java is started
    %JAVAPATH%\jre\bin\javaw.exe %JVM_OPTIONS%
    e.g.:
    %JAVAPATH%\jre\bin\javaw.exe -Duser.timezone="+02:00" %JVM_OPTIONS%
    3. Save the file and re-start the Runtime Service using stop_service.sql/start_service.sql.
but in creating the errorstack of the ORA-1882 i not found the ALTER SESSION SET TIME_ZONE
and i Modify the run_service i fixed -Duser.timezone="+01:00" cause the time zone here is Europe/Paris but there is no changes.
the db link is from Oracle 10.2.0.2.0 to 9.2.0.1.0. and owb 10g R2
    other solution?
    thanks,
    tarek

    Hi Khaleel,
Do you see only this message or do you also see something like below:
    CreateWssSiteContent: Creating project site failed! Project Uid=8e180c10-5433-4424-a236-54ea989872fa, site URL=http://PROJECT.test.com/PWA/AAAtest1000, site name=AAAtest1000. Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException: The site template requires that the Feature {e8389ec7-70fd-4179-a1c4-6fcb4342d7a0}
be installed in the farm or site collection. at Microsoft.SharePoint.Utilities.SPUtility.ThrowSPExceptionWithTraceTag(UInt32 tagId, ULSCat traceCategory, String ......
So, if you see the above message, its a feature that is missing. How many servers do you have in the farm? Do you have a separate project application service server?
In that case you will have to copy the feature under "14\TEMPLATE\FEATURES" features folder from WFE to application server also. This is because when creating a project workspace, PSI will refer to this feature on application
server and since it is not present in application server, it fails creating the site.
    Happy troubleshooting.....

  • Invalid change to class error when deploying EJB

We have EJBs that were built by Webgain Visual Cafe and successfully deploy
to WLS 5.1. We then use the WLE EJB Deployer Tool to build WLE container
classes and deploy the same EJBs in WLE 5.1.
One EJB does not deploy in WLE. The ULOG error message is:
    133929.EA-LAWSTUC!JavaServer.517: main: IJENGINE_CAT:150: ERROR: Invalid

Does anyone know what can cause an "invalid change to class" error when
deploying to WLE 5.1? Especially since the EJB deploys successfully in
    WLS.
    Carl Lawstuen

Reason: database keeps a reference of the class in JAVA$CLASS$MD5$TABLE table. This table keeps a refrence to all java classes loaded in database, and is present in each schema you deploy classes. That's the reason why if you change the application module name, you can load this classes. It instead keeps a reference if you use DROP JAVA CLASS command to drop a java class from de database. Use DROP JAVA command to clear the reference of the dropped classes when dropping it.
You can see this table as a class dictionary of the database, and you don't have to handle this records manually.

    Hi Indira.
As I can see in your log, you're getting the exception
    Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Lcom/sap/aii/af/service/auditlog/AuditMessageKey
May be you need to include aii_af_svc.jar (AuditLog classes are located into this JAR library) in your EAR archive.
    Regards,
    Gari.

Make sure that you are deploying using the right ports. I encounter that most often when the RMI ports are wrong. You can find the RMI ports by running opmnctl status -l

If you're using OC4J standalone, use the latest available OC4J, 10.1.3.3.
If you're using a manage OC4J, ie. Application Server, upgrade to the latest available version and upgrade your JDK. The provided JDK might be outdated.

Yes, the problem is that the ejb-jar must contain at least one ejb component. It's a common misconception that Java Persistence API Entity classes are ejb components but they are NOT. The Java Persistence API was developed within the EJB 3.0 JSR and works very well with EJB but the entity classes themselves are not full-fledged ejb components.

  • RTC-5161 Error when deploying a MAP

    Hello,
I recently upgraded OWB 11.1.0.7 to 11.2.0.3 and within the Design Center, I receive error RTC-5161 when deploying a MAPPING. My process flows and all other objects deploy successfully but the MAPPING pops up the RTC-5161 error
Here is how I went about my upgrade, can anyone tell me if I am missing something?
-Installed OWB 11.2.0.3 on a new server, configured Workspaces, workflow workspace user
-Exported an OWB 11.1.0.7 project MDL and imported into the 11.2.0.3 and the Design Center automatically UPGRADED my project.
    -Registered all locations
-Revalidated all locations within the ROPOSITORY BROWSER(the statuses were previously showing UNKNOWN, now they are all valid)
I need help PLEASE, if anyone could point me to something I am overlooking....
AGAIN, ONLY the MAPPING will not deploy, but the Process Flows generates and deploys with no issues.
I tried running the DEPLOYMENT of the Project from the command line(OMBPLUS), here is the error generated:
    Processing module LOCATIONS ...

    Error deploy LOCATIONS : CONNECTOR

Fixing this actually entailed going through the repository browser and checking the first optional feature during the configuration of the workspaces etc
    thanks for all your help!
Now I have another issue with synchronization:
I noticed that doing an inbound synching of my staging table using replace option and by object name, the preview window that pops up shows my objects to be updated not matching one to one.
Has anyone ran into something like this?
The synchronization preview shows source to target columns NOT MATCHING one to one.....

  • JCAPS 5.1.3 Error re-deploying projects in Enterprise Manager

    Hi
We are having an occasional problem when deploying and enabling JCAPS 5.1.3 projects from Enterprise Manager (see first error below). We've restarted the Logical Host with limited success. Also, we tried recreating the Deployment Profile, again with limited success. The intermittent nature of the problem suggests it's something that is being cached which is refreshed after a while. We haven't tried recreating the Connectivity Map and would like to avoid, if possible.
Does anyone know what causes the problem? Is there a proper solution? Or a workaround?
    Thanks

    Hi Experts,
I'm trying to protect a web service deployed in jcaps 5.1.1, using SAML assertions against an Access Manager 7/7.1, the web services clients are both, web and standalone applications, I also have read netbeans tutorials, that expose how to implement identity webservices using AppServer 9.1 + AccessManager 7.1 using the SAML Holder of key and other security mechanisms, but this implementation requiere modifications to the server.policy file to add support to SOAP message security providers and HttpServlet message security providers, the addition of a library called amwebservicesprovider.jar to the classpath suffix (this library implements the jsr-196 java Authentication Service Provider Interface for Containers) and aditional configuration required in the AM side that is not detailed in the tutorials.
Could someone guide me on how to protect the acces to a web services deployed in the jcaps logicalhost based on AM roles assigned to users?
    Any help is aprecciated
    Juan

  • Fieldpoint .iak file error when deploying

When deploying my Fieldpoint VI, I get an error message \\10.1.1.2\variables - network - RT deployment failed (error: -1967362038, IAK_SHARED: (Hex 0x8ABC67.... The deployment continues to download all my shared variables. When the deployment window is closed, my VI excecutes but I can't communicate with the shared variables. I have already configured Fieldpoint in Max. I tried rebooting Fieldpoint with no luck. I tried opening the Project example and using the sample VI's included. Same result. Anybody else had this problem?

Have you tried ensuring that the Shared Variable Engine (SVE) is running when you attempt to run your application? If you're hosting your shared variables on your target, you'll need to make sure an SVE is installed and running on the target as well.
In this case, use the Variable Manager utility or similar tool to verify that the Shared Variable Engine is running; try restarting the Shared Variable Engine using the Variable Manager utility then redeploy the library.
I've found that this error can also mean that the Shared Variable Engine configuration can't be found or can't be loaded, and is likely related to a problem with MAX. If ensuring that the Shared Variable Engine is running does not resolve this, we can look into this troubleshooting option as well.

  • Price varies by the minute

Paul Simon's Graceland is listed in the current "classic rock" sale for $7.99, yet when I add it to my cart the price is $9.99. But sometimes when I look at it by drilling down under Paul Simon, the price displays as $7.99, but changes to $9.99 when
