Error when exporting from premiere pro CS6

I have been using PP CS6 since launch date- and have had none stop problems with exporting, I cant dynamic link, add to render ques or simply export straight from PP!
When i Que my project it will export up until half way and then freeze, i've tried changing the clip, removing effects, everything!
has anyone encounted this problem before?
This is happening with more then just this one project aswell.
These are old projects that were originally created in CS5, could that be causing it?

Thats what i thought!
All earlier projects open, i can edit, manipulate it! do the works! However when it comes to export time! i can't export it to anything! whats the point?!?!
Im really angry, when you pay for something you expect it to do what it was designed to do! and the fact i can't export at all is really really frustrating!

  • Audio and video not synchronized when exporting from Premiere Pro CS6

    Hi
We have made a project in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 that´s intended to be exported to DVD (it´s a weeding). We are working with NTSC DV Widescreen. The exporting is 720x480
We have 2 audio lines activated and sounding on this project.
    The question is:
When exporting the entire video (the entire timeline sequece) using Adobe Media Encoder to formats like H.264 (NTSC DV Widescreen)... Quick Tile Movie or AVI without compression (we tested these formats) the 2 audio channels get unsynchronized from the video. The same problem occurs if we get a direct link of the timeline from Premiere to Encore.
And Inside Premiere Preview audio is preety correct.
Does anyone here are getting such problem?
Also..can I ask another question (as I´m not expert on video production)?. What´s the best format for our purpose? Export a video to be played to DVD (we record weedings, birthdays..social events). No problem the time to export. We´d like the best quality for output.
    Thank you for the help
    Gustavo.

    Hi John and techkid123
We have 4 cameras here. 1 is Sony model HD1000 (since it works with Mini-DV cassete we need to capture the image via Firewire). 2 cameras are Sony HD2000 (it generates *.MPEG files if I remember well). And 1 camera is a Panasonic AG-DVC7 (it generates *.MTS files)
We start a new project using the Standard NTSC Widescreen 48Khz format.  When we drag to the timeline for example the MTS file...Premiere ask us if we want to Keep and Change timeline to suit the file specification. Anyway we always have 1 or 2 camera files that has a yellow line over timeline.
But I renders correct...no problem to edit...and we had no problem with Premiere CS5.5 :/
We are downloading the latest update of Premiere. I´ll make some test and publish here if the problem persist.
Thank you a lot for the help
    Gustavo.

  • Why is video size different to original when exporting from Premiere Pro CS6 to Encore?

    Hi there
My source files in Premiere Pro are 1920 x 1080.
When I export the sequence to Encore to burn to a DVD the size in the burned DVD changes to 720 x 576
In Encore project area I have these two entries
The encoding settings for the above two entries are
this (for the first entry above)...
and this (for the second entry above)...
It does not seem to be possible to change the encoding to 1920 x 1080 for the first enry and as such the video is being burned as 720x576.
How can I fix this? What am I doing wrong?

DVD is 720x576 you cannot change that.
If you want 1920x1080 which is HD you need to make a BluRay.
You can however make an AVCHD disk which is HD on DVD.
About 20 minutes will fit on a DVD and will only (but not all) BluRay players.

  • Media Encoder crashes when exporting from Premiere Pro

Media Encoder crashes when exporting from Premiere Pro. I am queueing multiple files for export and Media Encoder will crash. The computer system has 32GB of RAM and the videos export fine in Premiere, but that requires exporting each one individually. Each video file is being down converted and some can be quite long (upwards of 3-5 hours). Nothing else is running on the computer that would take up memory.
Any idea why Media Encoder will crash?

    Try turning off GPU acceleration.

  • Losing audio quality when exporting from premiere pro

I have now had this happen with two different videos. I play the video in premiere pro and the audio is fine. I export the video and lose most of the quality of the audio portion. One project is a music session when exported I only get the main vocal the drums aren't audible only a buzz sound is made where the kick drum would usually come in. On another project is a thank you video for a family member and the audio is distorted after being exported. The audio sounds fine inside of the session. Once exported the audio will still work fine on my computer and my iphone 5s as long as I'm wearing headphones, once I try to play the video through my iphone 5s speakers the audio quality is gone, making the noises as previously stated. My iphone can still play other tracks fine but videos and audio exported from Premiere Pro are distorted. Any advice on how I can export the video so I wont lose audio quality when playing the video on an iphone? I know it's not my iphone speakers, they play other songs just fine.

The source files as far as the audio goes are wav files that I've pulled off of my desktop. My sequence settings are 1920 by 1080 at 29.97 frames per second. The export settings are H.264 with the preset YouTube (HD 1080 29.97 FPS) and I've also tried HD video 1080p 29.97 FPS. If this isn't enough information please let me know I'm in the learning phase. Audio wise the quality is set to high and I'm exporting at 4800 kh and a bit rate of 190. I've also tried a bit rate of 320 and 264 I think it is and still had the same problems.  Let me know if I need to do screen shots I really want to figure this out.
    Thanks for your help!

  • Is there a way to set a default "Source Range" in AME when exporting from Premiere Pro CC?

When exporting a sequence from Premiere Pro CC, you are able to toggle between 4 drop down options within Adobe Media Encoder on what Source Range you'd like to export (Work Area, Sequence In/Out, Entire Sequence, Custom) as seen here:
Is there a way to set the default Source Range to something besides Sequence In/Out?
My reason for asking is that sometimes I export multiple sequences at once using AME's Queue. I add my custom presets to each Sequence and hit export, but SOMETIMES I may have accidentally marked an in point on my timeline and by default it's set to export only that In-to-Out part of the sequence.
I know what you may be thinking...well, just don't add any In/Out points to your sequence on the timeline or clear them first. The trouble is that I often don't see them or catch them when working quickly. In Premiere Pro CC, I use the "Lighter Brightness" Appearance setting because it's easier on my eyes after editing 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. Sure, darker looks cooler, but it kills my eyes for some reason. Anyway, PPro CC has a troublesome appearance issue in CC where it's not "optimized" for editing when you change it to a lighter appearance like it was in CS6. I've already contacted Adobe about this and another appearance issue (involving highlighted clips when in Lighter Appearance setting) and they are "actively working on fixing this appearance issue asap".
For reference, here's Premiere Pro CC in/out points in default dark appearance (notice the slightly lighter grey area):
Now here's that same in/out in "Lighter Appearance":
Not exactly optimized. Can hardly see it. Good luck spotting that little guy on a long timeline. Sadly, this affects in/out points in the Source Window as well. Really hard to see.
Conversly, CS6 looked the best (the blue REALLY stands out making things easy to see):
So my question again...is there a way to set the default "Source Range" to something else besides Sequence In/Out so that I don't end up doing what I just did and leaving for several hours while batch exporting only to come back and find that I exported only a "portion" of one of my big sequences?
    Thank you!

Agreed about the roses but alas my next project always calls. Actually, I think what happens is I give each project SO much love that when it comes to exporting, I've run out of time.
    shooternz wrote:
Then it would not be a default...it would be an option and you already have that option.
Semantics aside, I would love to be able to have it at least default to whatever option was last chosen. Or, perhaps I shouldn't use the word default again...I'd love it to simply remember my preferred setting. That's all.

  • Encore CS6 crashes when importing from Premiere Pro CS6

When sending a project to Encore as a Dynamic Link from Premiere Pro, Encore hangs then a message pops up that it has stopped responding then closes. How do we get this to work?
The computer has an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and is running Windows 7 Pro x64 with Service Pack 1. Adobe CS6 Master Collection is installed. The computer is joined to a Windows Server 2012 domain and the user of the machine has local administrator rights.
The Adobe suite has been uninstalled and re-installed multiple times without success. Sometimes after re-installing, sending a Dynamic Link to Encore will import as expected once, but then after restarting the computer, the problem will occur again. This has been tried with and without installing any Adobe updates. The system has also been wiped and had Windows and all software clean installed on it again which has not resolved the problem.

  • Why is my video pixelated when exporting from Premiere Pro?

    Hi,
I'm a musician wanting to make some basic videos for YouTube. The videos will consist of an intro (logo, title etc) and audio playing over a still image which will last the duration of the song. I've edited the still image for the video within Photoshop (CS5.1). The image is of a woman screaming and is intentionally very dark. When I export this image from Photoshop, the quality is excellent. When I then import this image into Premiere Pro (CS5.5) and export as the finished video, the quality of the image is significantly reduced and is rather pixelated. After spending hours searching online and trying different settings to achieve the result I want, I've had no luck, and I'm now in desperate need of a professional opinion. Is it possible to get the same quality image within the exported video as I get from an exported Photoshop file?
    Things I've tried:http://www.ashmathos.com/Musici
Photoshop - Exporting image using different file types - .tif , .PNG , .PSD  etc
Premiere Pro - Exporting video using different formats - .FLV , Quicktime and MPEG4
                        - Changing the Capture format between DV and HDV
                        - Different presets - AVCHD, HDV, DV - PAL/NTSC etc
Both the image exported from Photoshop and the video are 1080p (square pixels)
An example of what I've explained can be found here:
    http://www.ashmathos.com/Musician/Test
(The video can be found below the image)
    To any responders,
    Thank you!

Can't you see how the video is pixelated? Mainly around the nose and forehead?
Nope.  Looks fine when I watch it.

  • Error when exporting from Quicktime Pro

I don't really like how any of the Adobe products export H.264 .mov files so my normal workflow that I've been doing for years is to export as a high quality MPEG4 and then open it in Quicktime and export as H.264 from there. I went to do this today and it gave me this error message "Export Controller has stopped working". When I click OK on that it gives me this error in the progress window:
    http://screencast.com/t/N2ZjNjcz
I've tried this with multiple videos and got the same thing, as a test I tried exporting as MPEG4 and I got a similar error (different code). As I was typing this I tried Export For Web and got the same error. Any idea how to fix this?

There's another thread here discussing the same error message, though not in exactly the same circumstance:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2212899&tstart=0
Perhaps something in that thread will help you.
    Good luck.

  • Problems exporting from premiere pro cs6

    Heeeeeeeeeeeeelp please!
I downloaded my recent project from cs5.5 into a trial version of cs6 and now I'm getting an unknown error (problems compelling video) when I try to export my project (in H.264).
I tried shutting off the auto safe, exporting in a different format (quicktime), restarting offcause, removing effects from the clip where the export failes, even tried exporting without that particular clip, but then it just happened another place in the film at another clip.
I'm thinking there could be an export limit when you're only working with the trial, cause I have been able to export smaller bits of the timeline and as well other smaller projects. I'm a mac user and not that good at computers in general.
I can still export a early version of my project from cs5.5 but I would really love to detect the problem in stead of starting all over since it's my BA project and I'm on a deadline...
I really hope somebody know something helpfull

I been in this same situation for two weeks. First update your software to the latest update. Just released yesterday
I believe you have more than one clip. At the end and begining of the clip you should have little grey triangle shape. They are called handles, meaning extra space at end point and at begining. Usaually for transition. If you dont see it on both clips (as in picture) then the one clip which is misiing need to be trimed little or more until handles disappear or some time you see full triangle (as in picture). Do same if there are more. Then just try to export the ending where clips attach each other. Set in and out points as I did in the picture. Export and make sure to choose sequence in and out setting. here is the picture:
I hope it works. I dont use this software anymore. I had a trail version. Used for two weeks. Every day same problem then finally figured it out and moved back to Edius 6. Thanks

  • MP4 exported from Premiere Pro CS6 runs choppy on some computers . . .

I have a video clip that was rendered as a .mov file in AfterFX CS6.  I uploaded it to youtube exported as a 1080p HD MP4 (target bitrate 12, max bitrate 12, VBR, 2-pass) that runs OK on my computer at any resolution, and runs OK on my iPad and 47" TV, but runs choppy on my laptop, and a friend's computer.  My computer is a Dell running a Haswell i7, with 24GB of memory and an Nvidia Quadro 2000 video card.  My iPad is Gen 4, my laptop is a Lenovo with i5 cpu and 4GB ram, and my friend is running a first generation i7 920 (overclocked) with 12GB of ram.  On my computer and iPad, http://youtu.be/lMg-YsVMZHg runs smoothly at any resolution, and the same file runs smoothly on my 47" LED TV from a USB 2 thumb drive.  It runs choppy and stutters on my laptop and my friend's machine at even low res.  The same file runs a lot smoother with some very slight judder when plugging the thumb drive directly into my laptop and running full screen.  What suggestions do you have?  Is this a bitrate problem, and what should work with all machines?
    Thanks.
    Gary Silverstein

The tutorials are downloaded as a zip file then extracted; I don't actually screen record the tutorials while streaming or anything.  I guess I couldn't say if variable frame rate was used when they recorded the tutorials, but the media I have shows up as 30fps as opposed to some sort of non-traditional frame rate that often shows up when recording with something at a variable frame rate (like the stock iPhone video camera app).

  • Anyone got any good AVCHD FOR DVD Presets they can share for AME CC Latest Version when exporting from Premiere Pro CC Latest Version?

Just wondering if anyone has for download or can share some templates or settings that I can use to create a One Stop Encode that will suit both AVCHD HD DVD Disc and be good as a Computer MP4 File for PC and Android Mobile Playback and maybe even good enough for Full Bluray Mastering.
Currently I am using mostly HDV 50i Material with a bit of 1080 30p and Mobile phone type MP4 files thrown in.
I typically Encode to for DVD SD and HD BD. However I would like to be able to take advantage of putting some of the short HD Video to AVCHD DVD-R Discs.
I understand that the maximum bit rate is gonna be 18mbs? for AVCHD on DVD but am unsure what Profile settings I need to be compliant and as I say if create a good one MP4 that will be good for all formats
whether it be AVCHD DVD, Blu-ray Disc and good for YouTube uploading with possibility of compatibility with some of the Android Mobile Phones and Tablets.
    Thanks in Advance
    Phil

  • Help Needed : Video Glitch after exporting from Premiere Pro CC

    Hi all ,
I have been experiencing this issue for sometime now. I occasionally encounter a video glitch after exporting a video from Premiere Pro CS6 or CC. Sometimes it happens in my NLE timeline , which I have to remove the affected clip that has the glitch/flicker problem from my bin and re-import the clip from my original source, which solves the problem.
However , the worst part is when the glitch/flicker happens when I have already exported the video when everything seems fine in the timeline of Premiere . My sequence settings do match with the clip . This issue happens intermittently as I always have to hope for the best when the video exports.
Here is an Example of what I mean, the glitch/flicker happens at 3:28 of the music video.
Hopefully those who have the same issue can share how to troubleshoot this problem . Thank you.
    Regards,
    Elias Lo

  • Audio not transferring to Encore from Premiere Pro CS6

I'm trying to export a sequence through the Adobe Dynamic Link from Premiere Pro CS6 to Encore and the audio is not transferring with video. The video is 30 minutes long with multiple video and audio tracks. The video came through fine, but no audio track. However, I also brought a timeline into the project that was less than 3 minutes and the audio track came with it. Any suggestions/help much appreciated! Thank you!

Yes--that is correct. Audio track in Premiere but no audio track present in Encore. I believe the audio format in Premiere is Stereo. It is HD footage shot on a C-100 camera. The sound was recorded into the camera and all brought in together. I did end up doing the work around that was suggested and just exported an MPEG2-DVD and pulled the audio in manually. But, would love to try to figure out how to make it work directly using Adobe Dynamic Link. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
