Error when I try to get target or source from voice mode line
Hello all,
I newbie in java sound and I want to record a phone call to file or play from file out to the phone line with no sound appear on speakers.
I have PCtel HSP56 MR 2.30-9k Data/Fax/Voice modem, when I display available mixers voice modem lines appear as output:
Primary Sound Driver
C-Media Wave Device
Modem #0 Line Playback (emulated)
Primary Sound Capture Driver
C-Media Wave Device
Modem #0 Line Record (emulated)
Port C-Media Wave Device
but when I choose "Modem #0 Line Record" to record from it exception occur with message the line does not support audio format, I tried to make audio format with sample rate 8000.0F and 44100.0F with channel mode is mono the exception is still appear.
Is my voice modem is not supported with java sound?
Are there modems that work probably with java sound?
Is there examples like what I'm looking for to help me to achieve that goal?
I would be very thankful for your helping.
The big dilemma with a new Internal drive is separating Drive operation from 'inside the MacBook' operation. If you had an External Enclosure, you could do all the work (including booting up from the new drive) using the External enclosure.
Then if a know-good drive develops problems only when moved inside the MacBook, it is time to try a replacement cable.

When I try to get onto YouTube, the site is completely white with the words "Authorization Error" in the top left corner. For a while, all I had to do was reload YouTube and it was fine. HTTP processing error when I try to get track information
This has stumped six people at apple support and my ISP- I got cut off from/was cut off by the last guy I spoke to after half an hour of trying and I hadn't the heart to start all over again with another one.
I get the above error message when I try to download track info from iTunes. This has happened since we set up a wireless network at home. We have solved the problem for the other pc running windows by typing an address I got from my ISP into LAN settings and track info is suddenly available.
However in the Mac system preferences/network/advanced/proxies nothing I click or type works. A whole week of my life has passed me by as I try to resolve this problem. Please help.you mean 4848 yes

Another error showed up when i try to get a free .cer from verisign
i used
keytool -genkey -keyalg "RSA"
to generate a pair of keys, and then, used
keytool -certreq
to get the certificate request file, but when i submit the CSR file, an error comes out:

I haved checked my CSR file and didn't find any illigal character mentioned above except in the "begin" and "end" part, and, what does "Common Name field" mean? i just followed the java tutorial to create the keys and the CSR file, and didn't read anything about "Common Name field". i really don't understand what's going on.

Probably you're trying to get a free Web Server certificate. Verisign checks if the CN is a name that can be given to a machine, like www.microsoft.com or java.sun.com. Such check avoids problems when trying to make a SSL connection. You can make a connection to a web server whose certificate reads "CN=login.yahoo.com" but not to a web server whose certificate reads "CN=first machine at garish's site".
If you want to get a free Email certificate you can have names with spaces inside, like "CN=Raghavan Srinivas". If you want to put accented letters inside (like "CN=Java Café" a lot of software has problem with accented letters, so avoid using accented letters in the CN. -

I am getting an Error when I try to open Firefox that Says Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system. This has happened several times recently. I deinstalld and reinstalled but am still getting the error. This happens to me as well. However, I have a shortcut on my desktop as well as my quick start bar. When this has happened to me, I can usually log back in without restarting, by using the shortcut on the desktop rather than the usual quick start bar.
I know this sounds weird, but it has worked for me about 80% of the time. -
I am getting the following error message when I try to import photos into iPhoto from my camera: "/private/var/folders/GB/GBl4wh8-ELqUVMI5dO-ryU TI/-Tmp-/iPhoto/DSCF2033.JPG". Have already tried removing and reinstalling iPhoto to no avail.
Does this happen if you try to Import to Library within iPhoto, or is it when you connect your camera (and which is set to automatically use iPhoto) that this error message occurs?

I keep getting and error when I try to start my iTunes. "Apple Application Support was not found. Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes, Then install iTunes again. Error 2(Windows error 2)".... I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the error still occurs!!! This started happening after I installed the 10.3 update

3. Disable Firewall/Security software.
4. Run install. Note that it installs Application Support and a bunch of other software this time.
5. Run iTunes.

8. Download Watchmen Director's Cut post haste.

Starting in 2015 I get the following error when I try to import my photos. "The following files were not imported because they could not be read" -DSC8416.NEF I've been importing the same type of photos with no errors then 2015 came along and now I can no longer import.
The error message is misleading, the problem is that you need WRITE privileges added to the destination directory tree.
Assuming you are using the "date" structure that LR defaults to, find the directory that contains the 2014 folder (the one that works) and add WRITE rights to the parent of "2014".
While you are there, if you want, add "2015" folder to beside "2014" and add READ and WRITE rights to that new directory. -

The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -50)I would get an external drive today and copy all your stuff off the TC.. forget trying to load more onto it. There is a good chance after 3years (A 2TB should be only about 2years tops), the disk or the TC itself is on the way out. Do it immediately. If TM is also failing to backup you need to recognise symtoms of impending doom.
Unfortunately the error messages are archane and it is hard to discover their meaning.
You also cannot verify a network drive.. you can verify the TM sparsebundle though so do that.

Reboot the whole network from off.. certainly if you run later OS it can simply lose the drive..
If you still fail to be able to copy to the TC.. then get that external and copy off it. Tell us if you can do that. -

Here's the query by itself run in another database using the @pinp.world link and querying the dba_dependencies table in the pinp.world database. As you can see the query using this link works just fine returning the requested rows. I can't figure out why the compiler is having an issue with essentially this same query when I try to compile it in a cursor in TOAD. Also this is the database (dev1.world) that I'm trying to compile this Procedure in.
By the way I'm in an Oracle 9.2.0.6 database and TOAD v9.2.
