Error when i try to make a pdf reader extended

Hi,
I am not able to apply reader extension rights on pdfs.
Step :1 When i use login to http://host:port/ReaderExtensions/Welcome?ap=1 (readerExtension web page) and upload a file, selecting all the rights. Now when i click on apply button , a new popup comes with showing uploaded bar. But i dont see any download button as earlier i was able to see to download reader extendsion pdf file.( sorry not able to upload screenshots as today seems some issue with this discussion page. Photo upload icon is not active).
Step :2 I also tried to apply rights form process on workbench. Earlier i was able to successfully invoke the readerExtension Activity. But now it says
"There was a problem invoking process "myProcess"
Error: Failed to passivate Document due to an internal error"
So I restarted the server and followed the above two steps. but it is not yet resolve.
Step:3 Then i thought to configure reader Extension credentials again from
Home > Settings > Trust Store Management > Local Credential.
When i click on the already configured certificate ( expiry date :Sunday, January 8, 2023 1:30 PM). I get below errors

When i try to delete configured ceritificate i also get below errors
Error 500--Internal Server Error

I am able to export the previous ceritificate/credential. But again not able to make any file readerExtended.
facing the same issue.
please let me know what is the issue on the server. Why i am not able to make any file as reader extended.

I could setup 6i, then make a repositori succesfuly. (Win2000/db8i)

What sort of error? The update and activation servers are crazy busy right now, so some glitchiness is to be expected. Might just want to give it a couple hours and try again.

Error when we try to print a PDF file

Hi,
I have a computer with IE6 and the last version of Adobe Acrobat (9.3). When I surf on Internet and I reach a page with a PDF file embedded. If I try to print it, Internet Explorer gives me an error and close it. I have tried to do the same with other user in that PC but it happened the same issue. I cleaned the temporary files and doesn't work.

Its some PDF files, it prints using Adobe on a Windows OS just fine, but not in adobe on the Mac. It prints using preview but all the fine details of the picture does not print. One file that does not print is a drawing generated from AutoCAD.

Authentication error when I try to make encrypted disk image

I usually make an ecrypted disk image when I back up my financial files on my Powerbook g4 or flashdrive. Just recently I get a "cannot make" "files" - "authentication error". I've tried the single user mode and removed files as per the discussion boards to no avail. I've tried also to reset my password from the OSX disk. Any suggestions. Thanks

I keep getting this error when I try to export as pdf or try to print to pdf. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I'm having this issue as well. I have tried directly exporting and packaging the file and keep getting error messages. When I initially open InDesign the document has a distiller message error. I'm not sure what that means but I'm sure it's contributing to the problem. After trying Peter's work around it acted like it was exporting but at the last minute failed to. Other ideas/solutions welcome.

When I try to make a .pdf from any application it is in an unreadable group of letters.

I would try and attach it here but I see no way to attach it. I'm sorry if this is vague but you have to see it to understand the problem. If I copy the pdf and paste it here it somehow is converted when I paste it. How can I display the problem here for you all to look at??

If you are wanting to show us something, then use the prt sc button (in Windows) to send the screen to the clipboard. Then save the clipboard as a JPG or PNG. Those can be displayed here using the insert image button.

InDesign crashes when I try to make a PDF or idml

I'm using 7.5.1 and trying to save to pdf and every time it crashes. I can't even export to idml. Any suggestions?

Is it just this file? if so, probably a bad font or a bad link.
Try exporting half at a time. If one half works and the other doesn't, divide the bad half again until you isolate a page, then remove objects the same way until you isolate the problem.
If you can export both halves successfully, it probably is a system resources problem -- it happens -- and you should combine the two halves in Acrobat.

Re-install of CS2 - Indesign crashes when I try to make a PDF

I had upgraded to snow leopard & bought CS5. Which wouldn't work on my computer. I had to re-install CS2 & now I can't create any PDFs. The program quits unexpectedly. Any suggestions???
