Hi Friends,
I'm getting the following error when loading please help it is quite urgent.
Value 'ZSATX #1 ' (hex. '436F6E7461696E6572202331 ') of characteristic ZSIGNI contains invalid characte BRAIN
Thnaks ,

Hi Smily,
It refers to an invalid char found in this InfoObject value. Does your system have anything maintained in RSKC?
For good info you can refer to Eugene's blogs:
/people/sap.user72/blog/2006/07/08/invalid-characters-in-sap-bw-3x-myths-and-reality-part-1

Hope this helps...

  • Errors when loading data to ODS

    Hi,
I am getting the following dump when loading data to ODS
    whta might be the problem
    Runtime Error          MESSAGE_TYPE_X
    Date and Time          29.09.2006 14:26:52
    ShrtText
The current application triggered a termination with a short dump.
    What happened?
The current application program detected a situation which really
should not occur. Therefore, a termination with a short dump was
triggered on purpose by the key word MESSAGE (type X).
    What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
    error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
    date.
is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
    Error analysis
    Short text of error message:
    Test message: SDOK_GET_PHIO_ACCESS 001
    Technical information about the message:

    How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
    use the following search criteria:
    "MESSAGE_TYPE_X" C
    "SAPLSDCL" or "LSDCLF00"
    "INTERNAL_ERROR"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
    1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
    Save->Local File (unconverted)".
    2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
    "System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
    3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
    supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
    Upload/Download->Download".
    4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.

  • Error when loading data

    Hi,
    Please need help!
I get a strange error message when loading data from R/3 to BW. A lot of rows in the PSA get red with following description (I don't recognize the object REQUESTER):
"InfoObject REQUESTER does not contain alpa-conforming value 3511"
    The help says:
    "Diagnosis
The system checked whether the loaded InfoObject
value conforms to the conversion exit. The check
    failed.
    Forexample:
The value '1' was loaded into an InfoObject with alpha exit, even though the value '0000000001' was expected.
    Systemresponse
The load process has failed or the erroneous records are displayed in the monitor. This does not depend on how error handling is set up.
                                                             Procedure
Find out why the data does not conform to the conversion exit, and, if possible, correct the cause. Possible causes are errors in Business Content or an error in a customer exit in the source system.
If you cannot correct the problem, you have the option of removing the conversion exit on the InfoObject. However, since the system has already been converted, duplicates appear in the system again.

    Senor Roberto
I seem to have similar problem, the ALPHA conversion is existent at my Infoobject level and in my Comm Struc but not in mY Transfer_Structure/Transfer_Rules_.
I have already been running loads from ods to data target no problem and now out of a sudden the error msg
Err mess: "The value '1' was loaded into an InfoObject with alpha exit, even though the value '0000000001' was expected", appears.
I have tried removing alpha conversion from info object as u have recommended, and I have transported to QA but in QA the infooject status color is grey and it dosen't allow me to activate what should i do? What i would really like is to load ods data to data target without ever seeing this error again .
    Any thoughts
    Ciao

Right-clicking "data" on the model tab can you see the data?
    In your code there's written:
    P$CRLOAD_FILE=Y:/1 Metadata/Account//Account.csv
Is it right the double slash before the file name?

Are you sure that you haven't got Planning 11.1.2.3.500 in your environment? This sounds spookily similar to the issue described in note 1678759.1 which was seen after applying Planning 11.1.2.3.500. If it's definitely Planning 11.1.2.3.500 is there any chance that someone has applied ODI patch 18687916 to the ODI home (C:\Oracle\Middleware\odi)?
If you /*are*/ running Planning 11.1.2.3.500 then you might need to apply patch 18687916 to C:\Oracle\Middleware\odi - you might need note 1683307.1 to take some of the pain out of applying this patch though.
Given the error that you're seeing though there's a mismatch in versions of JAR files between ODI and the Planning server somewhere.

    Craig

  • Dtp error when loading data from one cube to another cube?

    hi,experts
it seems strange that when I tick the some characteristics as navigational attributes in the cube , the error occurs during the execution of the DTP:error while updating to target Z* (Cube name ).
once i turn the flag off , no error appear. could anyone give me a clue ?
    thanks in advance!

    Hi,
When u make changes in the cube u need to make necessary changes in Transformation and activate the DTP.The checking of Navigational attributes in cube will appear in u r transformation as new fields where u need to create a mapping for them and then activate, also activate your DTP and then load the data. This should resolve your issue.

  • Error when load data from CRM 3.0 to BI 7.0

    Hi
I have connect CRM 3.0 system with BI 7.0 the CRM is MDMP and the BI is Unicode.
When I run the BW extraction of the CRM Business Partner data I've a short dump that say GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED
-.You address a field symbol that pointed to the line of an internal table that was deleted.
-.You address a field symbol that was previously reset using UNASSIGNED or that pointed to a local field that no longer exist.
-. You address a global function interface, although the respective function module is not active - that is, is not in the list of active calls. the list of active calls can be taken from this short dump.
When I check the RFC in CRM I've disable the Unicode option
I think that it's for the unicode because I've the last support package 12 installed in BI and the rest of the process chain are running perfect.
My hotmail mail is [email protected] if you need the screen shot.
    Regards and thanks a lot

  • Error when loading data from PSA TO Target(ODS)

I am getting the following errror:-
The value ' 20080712143841' from field CRM_CHANGED_AT is not convertible into the DDIC data type DATS of the InfoObject in data record 61. The field content could not be transferred into the communication structure format.
The data to be loaded has a data error or field CRM_CHANGED_AT in the transfer structure is not mapped to a suitable InfoObject.
    plz help

    Hi Anup,
To rectify this problem you need to write a routine in transfer rule for that characteristic.
for ur reference iam giving here one sample code-
*here iam refereeing data filed as ZSF_CLSDT*
    Data: l_date(10) type c.
      data: l_yyyy(4) type n,
            l_mm(2) type n,
            l_dd(2) type n.
      l_date = TRAN_STRUCTURE-/BIC/ZSF_CLSDT.
      split l_date at '-' into  l_yyyy l_mm l_dd .
      concatenate l_yyyy l_mm l_dd into RESULT.
it will give me date as YYYYMMDD.change this code according to your convenience.**

When you validate and process the transformation file, select the file that you want to load at the first prompt.
Do you get the same error?

    1) Wrong format, you wont get much support loading OLAP cubes in here I think.
    2) Has your CSV file been anywhere near excel by chance the conversion of 20071113121100 to 2.00711E+13 looks very much like what I see when Excel has an invalid number mask / precision specified for a cell.

    Hi Anup.
Probably your records are not Unique, while you have told the system they should be.
Try to move a discrimination characteristic from data fileds to key fileds.
    Or
Try to set the "duplicate reords allowed" setting in your datasource (tab "General Settings" Delivery of Duplicate Data Recs. = Allowed)

  • Error while loading data after level 17 patch

    Hi all,
A week ago we had patch level 17 implemented on our SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0 system. Since then, we cannot load any data to some cubes using update rules. We get "Error when generating the update program" (Message no. RSAU484), status red while loading data.
I tried activating the update rules
We get te same error when loading data from a DSO into a cube.
The strange thing is that it doesn't happen for all the objects in the system. We have troubles loading deltas from 2LIS_12_VCITM (delivery items), 2LIS_13VAITM (sales order items) and from a BI content DSO in assets accountng.
Please if you have any idea or if this happend to you, i appreciate any suggestion.
This is not an implementation, these processes are already live for months, and we didtn't have any problems before the patch..
    thanks,
    Andreea

We ran into same issue & another one during our BI 7.0 SPS15/SP17 upgrade.
    The solution:
    1. Apply 2 notes:
    [Note 1146851 - BI 7.0 (SP 18): Error RSAU 484 when generating update|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1146851]
[Note 1152453 - Termination generating InfoCube write program|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1152453]
    2. Then run program RSDD_RSTMPLWIDTP_GEN_ALL
to generate the new programs for InfoCubes from the template RSTMPLWIDTP and cleans up the staging table RSUPDINFO per note 1152453.

A raise statement in the program "SAPLRSDU_PART" raised in the exception.
    Internal Notes:
The termination occured in the function "ab_i fune" of the SAP Basis system. Specifically in the line 2316 of the module "//bas/620/src/krn/runt/abfunc. C#18".
The internal operation just processed is "FUNE"
    Advance thanks !!!

    Hello Siv,
try to run program SAP_DROP_EMPTY_FPARTITIONS to display existing partitions. Then compare it to the number of uncompressed requests. Maybe there's a mismatch.
