Hello Wendi,
And welcome to Apple Discussions!
Have you had a chance to look at and work through the potential troubleshooting techniques described in this Apple support document? If not, it would be a good place to start.

After making sure my plug-ins were updated, firefox 5.0.1 hangs/freezes when loading web pages.
I changed the setting, but unfortunately, this didn't fix the problem. This situation does seem to occur more, when I load or reload my eBay home page. I noticed that all data and information would go ahead and load, but the random ads bar would not immediately load and when I would left click anywhere on the page, Firefox would temporarily freeze, the page turns white, Firefox not responding will display, and then the banner would load and everything is fine. I'm wondering if it has something to do with my Flash Player. Any additional suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Reggie

Automatically load web page when select topic
I've been able to perform this functionality in RoboHelp (winhelp), but have not yet figured out how to do this in RoboHTML.
Upon topic load I would like a web page to display within the topic pane. In RoboHelp, I did this by creating a html jump from the topic heading. It looked like this:
JumpHtml(`http://www.cerner.com')
Does anyone know how to do this in RoboHTML? It doesn't seem that I'm able to format the topic heading to automatically load a web page when the topic loads.Hi there
Configure the topic as a redirect.
Check out my Tips and Tricks file for info on how to redirect.

Safari hangs when loading web pages.
I'm new to the Mac and had my machine less than a week. However, I'm having problems with Safari/Internet. Generally it's fine, but from time to time Safari hangs and it can take a few minutes for it to spring back into life and load the desired web page. It's not the internet itself as I tested it on another device whilst experiencing the problem and could load sites fine. I can only think it's a problem either with some setting in Safari, or with the Mac's WiFi.
Has anyone experienced the same issue, or more to the point does anyone know how to fix it?From the menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab.
If you have any installed, turn that OFF, quit, relaunch Safari to test.
Try Safari > Preferences - Privacy. Click Remove All Website Data. Quit, relaunch Safari to test.
If you installed anti virus software, disable that.
If you installed any Safari third party add ons, follow the instructions here > Safari: Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues
And try deleting the cache.db file.
Quit Safari.
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safar/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari.
~ (Tilde) character represents the Home folder.
For Lion: To find the Home folder in OS X Lion, open the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library

Garbled text when loading web page. Screenshot included.
Can anyone explain why Safari constantly does this?
MacBook 2Ghz Black Mac OS X (10.4.8) 2 GB RAMEvidently Safari isn't smart enough to handle the firewall at work so I'll just stick with Camino. Or I might try OmniWeb if it isn't the actual rendering engine that is having a hard time with the firewall.

RV120W - critical error while loading web page
Hello
I am getting this error when trying to edit QOS / Profile binding. I believe it appeared after I added a second VLAN.
Firmware Version:
1.0.3.10
Firmware MD5 Checksum:
6300e6c67223a4821c117504dc7ad6d6
PID VID:
RV120W-E V01
Any other suggestions than factory reset ? and if this is the only one, will it be possible to save the config, do the fact reset, and restore the config without having the problem reappearing ?
Thanks for the help
EDear Eric,
Thank you for reaching Small Business Support Community.
I believe the problem is related to a couple bugs documented for firmware v1.0.3.10; CSCts21176 and CSCtu24324 where the second one better describes the issue:
Issue—QoS Profile Binding does not work properly for a selected service.
Workaround—Select the service type Any instead of selecting a particular service
when configuring a QoS profile. QoS profile binding is then based on an IP address or a
group of IP addresses.
My suggestion is to backup the configuration, update the firmware to latest v1.0.4.10 and restore the configuration. Please take a look at the actual firmware release notes I suggest;
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/csbr/rv120w/release/notes/rv120_rn_v1_0_4_10.pdf

Firefox crashes when you open it,when loading certain pages, when you exit it
why? also i install latest version but still it is in 4.0.1...
See:
*http://nightly.mozilla.org/
Note that the Aurora (28.0a2) and Nightly (29.0a1) build are updated daily and can be unstable being alpha releases.<br />
You always need to install such a version alongside of the current release via a custom install and use a separate profile for each Firefox version.
Make sure not to start Firefox after the installation has finished and use the Profile Manager to create a new (separate) profile for each version.<br />
Do a custom install in a different program folder and use the Profile Manager to create a new profile for this version, so make sure not to start Firefox after the installation has finished.

My ipad air is slower loading web pages and opening apps than ipad 2
Bought new ipad air a month ago, it seems very slow compared to my ipad 2, when loading web pages and apps, is anyone else having these problems or have I got a faulty ipad?
(A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing will be reset -

I keep getting internet explorer cannot display web page when trying to download itunes. This only shows on half the page where the download link would be. My internet connection is fine. Any idea what the problem may be?
You won't see anything obviously related to iCloud, Jimmy. But if you go to the home iTunes Store page while logged into your iTunes Store account, you should see a Purchases link now under the Quick Links header. That's the only part of iCloud active at this time.

Recently downloaded Mac OS X Mavericks and Safari has become noticeably less responsive; slow to load web pages. Also, when Safari is open, the Finder randomly comes to the front. Any ideas?
In fact, I am runing some plug-ins: ClickToPlugin (Flash blocker), Collusion and Disconnect.
There is quite a history of new versions of Safari breaking third-party plug-ins/extensions becasue the plug developer did not have an updated version available by the time the new Safari version dropped. What you report--worked fne before but won't now--is exactly what history says happens in such a case.
First, turn off all third-party stuff and see if Safari smooths out. Alternatively, create a new user account and, from there, test Safari in its native state with nothing added. That is a good diagnostic to see if the issue is a plug or extension.
If either of those helps, check for updates to the add-ons. If the developer is slow in reacting to the updated Safari version, (not unheard of), stop using that extension until an update is available. -
Spry tabbed panels java script error screwing up whole page when I reopen document in dreamweaver
I need help!
I am creating a site in dreamweaver and I am using spry tabbed panels for my content on every page. I've created 4 pages. When I go to reopen the pages after quitting dreamweaver 2 open and work just fine. However, for the other two I receive a window that says,
this document contains javascript code for a widget that no longer exists. If you don't remove the code, the browser may display javascript errors when loading the page. Would you like dreamweaver to find all instances of this code for you.
I've selected both yes and no options and either way my entire page becomes all jumbled. I've tried deleting the script in code view and it doesn't help?<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

Connected to an active network but unable to load web pages
Hi,
I am using an old Powerbook with OS 10.2.x and am trying to add it to an existing network at home. The network is a DSL/ADSL connection, which is received by a modem and is passed on to a wired/wireless router. I have a PC which connects successfully to the router either by wire or wireless and is able to load web pages.
My Mac, however, does not. It indicates that it is connected to my wireless network, and shows full signal strength. It is assigned an appropriate IP address by the router. However, I cannot load any webpages. All I get is a 'server not found'. This is vexing me, and I have been at it for hours, but no solution.
Let me add that with the same settings, I was able to browse on my Mac also yesterday, but for some reason, I have no luck today. Can someone please indicate what is going on?I am having the exact same problems. My laptop (Gateway) connects fine to the router, but my Mac does not. They sit right next to each other upstairs. The signal will SOMETIMES come through to my Airport card and when it does it is at full strength, but when i run Safari, nothing. I have tried to enter all the information that my PC has printed out and displayed for me, but i have no clue what half of the things are. and my applecare has expired so the people at Apple will not help which is extremely annoying. Sorry i can't help. But if i find anything i will let you know.

With no "lock" or "HTTPS" showing up, how do I know in Safari if an online store is actually using a secure link when their web page makes that claim?
The link in your example - https://www.gmx.com/ - is loading non- secure content from http://themes.googleusercontent.com/
The lock will display only if everything on the page is secure - in this case it's not.
As Safari has no way of knowing if theme.googleusercontent.com is going to be transmitting or receiving content that should be encrypted, then the overall page is in no way secure, and as such Safari won't display the lock icon.
This is correct behaviour - it would be dangerous to users to identify pages as secure when they're clearly not.
Reloading the page above uses cached copies of the fonts, thus no insecure connection is required on the reload. The issue in the link above (GMX) is not a Safari issue, just really bad web development by whomever built the site and mixed secure and insecure content. -

STOP RET
Hi Stephan,
unless we don't ask for it, please do not post this much content. This might be suitable for support messages, but not for this forum. There might be situations where you get asked for more information, but a post like this one just scares of anyone who might know an answer.
Also, your thread title does not give any information on your problem, as a "dump when testing web pages" can be anything.
I would suggest to re-state your question, just giving the information that others need.
I haven't worked with CRM, but I wonder if this is a custom application or a shipped one.
